Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1135: Chapter 639: Black

The message came from Yao Yuanfeng.

——Xiao Yun, our ”Two Tigers” started pre-sale. Help us promote it by posting a tweet.

Zhou Yun let out a sigh of relief.

She thought it was some other news.

She replied with a simple ”okay”.

Logging into Weibo, she searched for ”Two Tigers” official account, followed it, and retweeted the pre-sale post from thirty minutes ago.

Immediately, many fans left comments.

Zhou Yun is not very active on Weibo, most of the time she only posts promotional information, as she did this time.

She rarely posts anything personal.

Perhaps it’s a subconscious resistance, not wanting to share herself on social media.

But whenever she posts news, fans are thrilled, feeling like they finally see a glimpse of Zhou Yun.

Although Zhou Yun frequently makes it to trending searches, it’s mostly due to events or being dragged into something by others, which doesn’t satisfy her fans.

Fans wish to see some real dynamics of Zhou Yun, rather than those trending incidents.

Many ask: Why doesn’t Xiao Yun post selfies? It seems she’s never posted one.

Some fans explain that she has, just very rarely.

Seeing these comments, Zhou Yun felt a bit embarrassed.

Her fans are the best of the best, never spam other celebrities’ territories, and rarely stir up trouble online regarding her, with smooth communication between the fan club and the team. Zhou Yun had her team convey her opinions: she doesn’t want nor enjoy any supporting acts, whether it’s making numbers or fighting with other fans, so the fan club has always been low-key.

Since Zhou Yun clearly stated she doesn’t accept any supportive items and disagreed with the fan club collecting money for any reason, the fan club never hosted any activities, mostly just some team-building events online.

Despite this, Zhou Yun’s fans are officially recognized.

Because whenever it’s important, Zhou Yun’s fan club contributes its efforts tirelessly.

In a way, Zhou Yun benefits greatly from this — on an official level, whether a celebrity or idol, they should set a positive example, and the official side values this greatly.

Fans’ performance positively reflects on Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun has always been cautious about her relationship with fans, knowing that water can carry or overturn the boat. Yet she suddenly felt indebted at that moment, because fans did so much that they shouldn’t have to do. Although she never asked for it, what’s done is done, and she benefited from it, never rejected it.

Maybe, sometimes, she shouldn’t maintain such a distant stance.

She rarely responds to fans in the comments, and seldom shares her status on social platforms. The reason being ”the more you say, the more mistakes you make”, preferring to keep silent.

However, this results in disappointing some people who have high expectations of her.

Of course, Zhou Yun has no obligation to fulfill the hopes of those with high expectations — in essence, it’s a choice. Should she do it?

Zhou Yun sat up from the bed, took her phone, and posted on Weibo: Today’s three things I want to share: 1. I had hotpot tonight. 2. The shooting of the current drama is going smoothly. 3. The snow keeps falling heavier.

Successfully sent.

Zhou Yun lay back in bed.

She silently told herself that if possible, sharing some daily life is okay, without expressing opinions, just recording life.

But that said —

Zhou Yun knows, when emotions surge, laughter and anger can’t be avoided, she can only try not to get caught in the online whirlpool normally.

It’s not a normal environment now.

Within five minutes of posting, Zhou Lan messaged her: How come you have the mood to share your status today?

Zhou Yun seeing Zhou Lan’s message felt even more apologetic.

Even Sister Lan was surprised by her sudden tweet.

Zhou Yun said: Haven’t posted in a while, so I did.

Zhou Lan: Seems like you’re in a good mood today, did something good happen?

Zhou Yun chuckled helplessly, saying: No, it’s unrelated, but the mood is indeed great, had hotpot tonight.
