Chapter 2451: Chapter 2452: Return to Tianyun (18)

Taoming Ye’s face darkened, but Su Xing didn’t notice his change because she kept her head down.

But soon, he returned to his usual gentle demeanor, tenderly saying, ”If it’s not too intense, I think I can manage.”

Su Xing’s face instantly turned crimson, and she didn’t dare to raise her head.

Taoming Ye found her adorable like this. He originally had no intention of a wedding night, but now he did. His hand gently reached over, helping her remove the wedding dress, then he cupped her face and softly kissed her lips.

As gentle as a breeze blowing by.

When Taoming Ye leaned in to kiss her, Su Xing closed her eyes tightly, not daring to open them. When something slightly cool, somewhat warm, and soft pressed against her lips, her lips quivered lightly.

Her first kiss was gone just like that.

Taoming Ye’s kiss was especially gentle; Su Xing could handle anything except his gentle approach, which softened her heart and made her body relax.

Taoming Ye didn’t hold her; instead, seeing her relax, he supported her shoulders and gently laid her on the bed.

The red candle flickered, the room was dim.

The next morning when Su Xing woke up and recalled the events of last night, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Although last night wasn’t intense, she had completely become Taoming Ye’s woman.

This husband is truly gentle, gentle to the point that even though she gave her first time to Taoming Ye last night, she almost didn’t feel any pain.

Blushing, she glanced over at Taoming Ye and found his complexion paler than yesterday, almost like he was lifeless, scaring her into quickly sitting up, pushing Taoming Ye: ”Hey, wake up! I’ve just married you, if you die and make me a widow, I’ll rip you apart!”

Taoming Ye opened his eyes, hearing her threats, he smiled weakly and said softly, ”I’m okay, just used too much energy last night.”

Su Xing’s small face instantly turned crimson again. Damn...

Taoming Ye also sat up, seeing Su Xing still with her head down, blushing, he reached to pull her up, gently saying, ”Let’s get up, we still have to serve tea to our parents.”

”Mm.” Su Xing responded in a voice as quiet as a mosquito.

Once Taoming Ye and Su Xing were dressed, they called in the maidservants waiting outside the door.

Hong Ye entered quickly, pulling Su Xing to the side, far enough from Taoming Ye, she whispered to Su Xing, ”Miss, are you okay? I asked around the mansion last night; this husband isn’t the one you were supposed to marry. They swapped him out! This husband is the legitimate eldest son of the Tao Mansion, his health is poor, no girl wants to marry him, afraid they’ll end up as a widow. But those maidservants and women last night wouldn’t let me in to tell you, boohoo...”

Saying so, Hong Ye started crying, feeling the Tao Mansion was bullying people, also fearing her young lady might become a widow.

”Why are you crying, I’m fine.” Su Xing knew Hong Ye was looking out for her, so she comforted her. ”This husband has poor health, but I’ll find a way to cure him. I’m definitely not going to make myself a widow, right? But the Tao family bullied me, I’ll definitely settle this account with them later.”

Hong Ye finally felt better, wiped her tears, then said, ”So, Miss means to accept this husband?”

”We’ve already held the ceremony, how could I not accept?” Saying so, Su Xing leaned close to Hong Ye’s ear and whispered softly, ”I quite like this husband; aside from his health, he’s perfect in my eyes.”
