My Alleged Husband

Chapter 128: Chapter 112: Begging for Mercy!_1

”It’s not like that, you must have heard wrong,” Li Jiayuan hurriedly began to explain. She really didn’t want Xiao Wei to know what she was thinking, or else she would be the one to suffer later on. But as a mercenary, if Xiao Wei’s hearing weren’t sharp, wouldn’t he have been killed by enemies long ago?

”Oh? Is that so? Honey, I missed you, so just give in to me,” Xiao Wei didn’t bother to argue with Li Jiayuan about what she actually said. He straightforwardly expressed this thought because he wanted Li Jiayuan to understand that once he had made up his mind about something, it wasn’t so easy to change. Otherwise, Li Jiayuan might think that he would always listen to her... Even though Xiao Wei did listen to Li Jiayuan on many things, that didn’t mean she could decide everything.

Li Jiayuan knew very well that she couldn’t escape tonight. Sigh, why did she suddenly spout out those words just now? Now she couldn’t even use excuses anymore, as everyone would know her own calculations. How could she tease him now?

”Dear, I’m still not full, could you cook something for me first?” Li Jiayuan was still thinking of finding an excuse to escape, thinking Xiao Wei wouldn’t agree. However, to her surprise, he did the opposite.

”Sure, then just wait for me a bit,” Xiao Wei said and put down Li Jiayuan. Heading to the kitchen, he ladled out some pork rib soup from the pot, testing the temperature—it was still hot. He was thankful that he had the foresight, originally planning to have Li Jiayuan drink the soup after he finished teasing her. But since she mentioned not being full, he might as well bring it to her first and then make something else afterward.

Xiao Wei brought the soup out of the kitchen, and Li Jiayuan was stunned. She checked the time, and Xiao Wei had prepared the food in less than two minutes; the speed was incredible. She almost couldn’t help but wonder how he managed it.

”Cough cough, Xiao Wei, you were in the kitchen for less than two minutes before you got the food ready. I’d like to know how you did it? That’s amazing.” Li Jiayuan curiously asked how he managed that.

Xiao Wei didn’t say a word but shared a knowing smile with Li Jiayuan.

Li Jiayuan felt a chill from Xiao Wei’s smile; why did she feel like something bad was about to happen?

”Didn’t you say you weren’t full just now? I’ve already finished cooking, why aren’t you eating?” Xiao Wei said with a grin, looking at Li Jiayuan.

Li Jiayuan hesitated, then forced a smile, ”Of course not. I’m so hungry I can hardly stand it. It looks good too, but it’s not too hot again, is it?”

As she reached to take the bowl, she suddenly remembered how she had just been burnt. She pulled back her hand and looked at Xiao Wei.

Xiao Wei awkwardly smiled back, ”Of course not. It’s just the right temperature this time. I already cooled it in the kitchen; it’s the perfect temperature for drinking and not hot at all!”

Li Jiayuan hadn’t expected Xiao Wei to be so thoughtful. She hadn’t really eaten anything, and looking at the pork rib soup in the bowl, she actually felt hungry. She began feeding herself spoonful by spoonful, tasting the soup. It was really delicious—the more she ate, the more she wanted. After one or two bowls, she still wanted more. The flavor suited her so well that drinking this soup made her feel like she was in a paradise.

”Xiao Wei, the soup you made is so tasty. Can you make it for me every day?” Li Jiayuan asked tentatively, feeling that after eating Xiao Wei’s cooking, she wouldn’t want to eat anyone else’s. After all, Xiao Wei’s food not only contained delicious ingredients but also his profound love for Li Jiayuan.

”Sure, are you full yet?” Xiao Wei took the opportunity to ask Li Jiayuan.

Li Jiayuan didn’t think much of it, assuming Xiao Wei was just inquiring whether she had eaten her fill so that if she hadn’t, he would offer to cook more for her. She casually replied, ”I’m full, it was very tasty!”

Xiao Wei gave Li Jiayuan a mischievous smile, and in an instant, she understood.

”Since we’re full, shouldn’t we go get some sleep?” Xiao Wei looked at Li Jiayuan as she was about to refuse him again. He immediately continued, ”Dad should be back soon. When he comes, we’ll need to cook for him...”

Li Jiayuan was truly naive as she was easily deceived by Xiao Wei’s simple words. She agreed, ”Alright, but we can only sleep for four hours. Once the time is up, we must get up to cook.”

”No problem.” Xiao Wei thought as long as Li Jiayuan agreed to go upstairs to sleep, that was enough.

Less than two hours later, Li Jiayuan regretted her reckless words. She couldn’t understand why she had agreed to Xiao Wei’s request. Wasn’t this asking for trouble?

Xiao Wei carried Li Jiayuan into the bedroom, tossed her onto the bed and pounced on her, ”You little enchantress, let’s see how you can run away this time...”

Before Li Jiayuan could even respond, Xiao Wei was already upon her. She really regretted it, ”Darling, please, I beg you, spare me.”

Li Jiayuan had started to beg for mercy, but Xiao Wei thought she was doing it purposefully to enhance the excitement. How could he know that Li Jiayuan was in real pain?

”Jiayuan, don’t beg for mercy. Isn’t it nice for us to cultivate our feelings together?” Xiao Wei said excitedly to Li Jiayuan.

”Husband, please spare me this once. I won’t dare to do this again...” Li Jiayuan felt that Xiao Wei didn’t understand the meaning of her words, continuing to speak to him with her delicate voice.

The more Xiao Wei listened, the more excited he became, while Li Jiayuan was in unbearable pain. Knowing that Xiao Wei had lost his wits, she wanted to call for help, but Xiao Wei said, ”Jiayuan, don’t think about calling for someone. There’s no one else at home, just you and me. If you think it hurts too much, I can be gentler. Of course, I don’t mind if you want to scream out loud...”

Li Jiayuan never expected Xiao Wei to say such things to her. She endured as much as she could, but ultimately, she couldn’t bear the pain throughout her body and cried out loud, ”It hurts, please, I beg of you to spare me...”

No matter how Li Jiayuan cried out, the only response she got was the sound of Xiao Wei’s voice and the relentless ticking of time.

More than an hour later, Xiao Wei reluctantly let go of Li Jiayuan. By then, she had long passed out. Climbing off, he kissed Li Jiayuan’s forehead and whispered, ”Jiayuan, I’m sorry. I might have been too rough just now. From your voice, I could tell you were truly begging for mercy. However, I don’t want you to beg me while we’re together. You know how much I love you. Although I don’t want to treat you like this, Dad wants to have a grandchild, so I had no choice. Once you get pregnant, I’ll take care of you every day. Whatever you want to do, I’ll agree to it. I hope you won’t be mad at me. I love you, my wife!”

Li Jiayuan slept soundly, hearing nothing. One could only wonder what she would feel if she had heard what Xiao Wei had said to her.

Xiao Wei, desperate to give Li Haixiao a grandchild soon, was really all-in. He planned to make something Li Jiayuan loved to eat and discuss with her when she woke up about visiting Xia Jing and Zhang Zhentian tomorrow.

It had been several days since Xiao Wei and Li Jiayuan got married, yet they had not told Li Haixiao about the joint project in the west of the city. Xiao Wei didn’t want Li Haixiao’s kindness to be because of that joint project, but how could he and Li Jiayuan know that Li Haixiao had already learned the truth from Elder Zhang on the wedding day?

Even though Li Haixiao had known for a while, his attitude toward Xiao Wei remained unchanged, because Li Haixiao felt that as someone with one foot already in the grave, there was nothing left to hold on to. As long as Xiao Wei truly loved Li Jiayuan, that was enough. All he wanted was for his precious daughter to live a safe and happy life.
