My Alleged Husband

Chapter 125: Chapter 109 We Finally Got Married_1

Xiao Wei’s friends had him whisk Li Jiayuan away, and he bolted down the road. He dreaded the thought of his group of brothers chasing after them again; dealing with them gave him a false impression that the people in front of him were like a pack of hungry wolves pouncing on him.

It wasn’t long before Xiao Wei carried Li Jiayuan back to the Li Family home, where Li Haixiao had specially prepared a wedding room for Li Jiayuan and Xiao Wei.

Red mosquito netting, red roses, red sheets and quilt covers... everything was red, looking very festive and giving off a comfortable feeling.

”Jiayuan, did you arrange all this?” Xiao Wei asked, looking at the bright colors, assuming Li Jiayuan had done the decorating herself.

Li Jiayuan was a bit puzzled by Xiao Wei’s question. Wasn’t it him who had decorated? When Li Jiayuan saw the setup, she also thought it was Xiao Wei’s work.

Neither of them had considered the possibility that Li Haixiao had arranged it.

”This isn’t your doing?” they asked each other in unison.

”Not me. Then who could it be?”

The question baffled them both, who would decorate their room so festively?

As they both wondered who could have possibly decorated the room, Li Haixiao knocked on Li Jiayuan’s bedroom door.

”Dad, haven’t you gone to bed yet?” Just as Li Jiayuan was troubled over who was behind this deed, Li Haixiao arrived.

”Jiayuan, Xiao Wei, how do you like it, the wedding room Dad has decorated for you?” Li Haixiao spoke and immediately resolved Li Jiayuan and Xiao Wei’s questions.

Li Jiayuan was astonished to learn that it was her own father who had done the decorating.

Xiao Wei was stunned too, unable to believe that his father-in-law, already past fifty, still had the heart of a young girl!

”What’s wrong, Jiayuan, don’t you like it?” Li Haixiao asked, seeing Li Jiayuan standing silently in front of him.

Li Jiayuan came to her senses and spoke to her father, ”Dad, I love it, thank you, you have worked hard!”

”Silly child, Dad hasn’t worked hard. You have to understand, you got married today. Dad should do something for you, right? Dad was actually worried you might not like it,” Li Haixiao said tenderly to Li Jiayuan.

”How could I not? As long as it’s from Dad, I love it all...” Li Jiayuan, with tears in her eyes, spoke to Li Haixiao, ”Dad, it’s getting late. You should go to bed. Tomorrow morning, I’ll make you your favorite dishes.”

Li Haixiao happily responded to Li Jiayuan, ”Alright then, you two should also rest early after such a tiring day. I’ll head back now, not to disturb your rest...”

Li Haixiao’s mention of rest was laden with a double entendre. Li Jiayuan’s ears turned red when she heard it, and Xiao Wei bowed his head in silence, finding the moment awkward. After all, who talks about such things once you’re married? It was so embarrassing, it could kill!

Li Haixiao stepped out of Li Jiayuan’s bedroom and headed towards his own, while Jiayuan quickly closed her door. Before she had the chance to turn around, Xiao Wei embraced her from behind, and Jiayuan asked, ”Honey, what are you doing?”

Xiao Wei buried his head in Jiayuan’s shoulder and sighed, ”Jiayuan, now that we’re finally married, calling you ’husband’ makes my heart itch...”

Xiao Wei didn’t spell it out explicitly, but Jiayuan was no child; she understood what he meant. Blushing, Jiayuan said, ”Honey, stop it, I just finished eating...”

Xiao Wei always found Jiayuan’s voice enchanting, especially now as she spoke to him in her nightgown. Xiao Wei was nearly losing his mind.

”Wife, it’s getting late, we should rest. Even if you just ate, it doesn’t hinder us from cultivating our relationship as a couple. Don’t you think?”

Xiao Wei rocked Jiayuan back and forth in his arms and, seizing a moment when she let her guard down, flipped her under him onto the bed.

”Xiao Wei, don’t do this, I’m not ready yet.” Jiayuan pushed against Xiao Wei. He felt a bit upset; he had not expected Jiayuan to reject him, especially not under these circumstances.

Letting go of Jiayuan, Xiao Wei said, ”Fine, if you’re going to be like that, then I’ll just stay outside. You keep this room to yourself.”

After finishing his words, Xiao Wei turned to open the door. Jiayuan anxiously asked, ”Xiao Wei, where are you going?”

”Ah, Jiayuan, do you realize how long I’ve been looking forward to being with you? I always thought that once we were together, there would be no emotional issues. But now, I understand I was wrong. You never thought this way at all. I never expected you to reject me on our wedding night. Have you ever considered how this makes me feel?” sighed Xiao Wei. Jiayuan couldn’t help but wonder if she was indeed being too harsh. They were married after all; what was there left to hide? What couldn’t she show her partner?

After thinking it over, Jiayuan finally asked Xiao Wei to stay: ”Xiao Wei, I’m sorry. I’m just not used to sleeping with someone else, that’s why I acted like that. Please don’t be mad. I’ve thought it through; why should we as husband and wife sleep in separate rooms?”

Xiao Wei was still a bit hurt, and Jiayuan, knowing he was still angry, gently pleaded, ”Husband~, don’t be mad anymore, okay? The auspicious time is almost passing. Shouldn’t we rest now?”

Jiayuan beckoned Xiao Wei with a coquettish voice. His Adam’s apple bobbed. Jiayuan seized Xiao Wei’s hand, leaned in, and pinned him down. She gently started to undo his buttons. Xiao Wei was going crazy—could she be any more enticing?

Xiao Wei couldn’t stand it anymore, he flipped Jiayuan under him and said, ”This was your doing, you can’t blame me now...”

Rather than taking his time with the buttons like Jiayuan, Xiao Wei simply ripped open her clothes. Although Jiayuan had anticipated that this night would be painful, she let Xiao Wei stay because, having married, she knew that sooner or later her most valuable treasure would be his; it might as well be today.

Xiao Wei forcibly restrained his desire for Jiayuan and asked, ”Jiayuan, are you really sure about this?”

Jiayuan was moved; she could feel how hard it was for Xiao Wei to control himself. That he could still ask for her consent under such circumstances was enough to satisfy her.

”I’m ready. Even though I’m still a bit scared, because it’s you, I’m not afraid!”

”But it will be very painful, are you sure you’ve thought it through?” Xiao Wei asked uncertainly once more.

”Yes, I’m ready!”
