Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 879: Chapter 556: Mélando’s New Film_4

”On one hand, I want to formally thank you,” Brillanch said, ”Thank you and your friends for helping Luna. On the other hand, I do indeed have some work-related matters I want to discuss with you today.”

Zhou Yun nodded.

Brillanch said, ”I came to China this time because we at Mélando are preparing a movie. Of course, if the first one does well at the box office, we hope to make it into a series because the original author wrote three books.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Are you planning to invite me to star in this movie?”

Brillanch nodded and said, ”We are indeed looking for an actress. The protagonist of the original story is a young female college student, and she is Asian.”

Zhou Yun was somewhat surprised.

She hesitated for a moment and said, ”Mr. Brillanch, I’m very grateful you thought of me, but I have to be honest with you. I have several films lined up. I won’t be available at all next year.”

Brillanch nodded and said, ”That doesn’t conflict with our movie. Our film won’t start production until the end of next year at the earliest.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Yun realized the schedule was not a problem, and she found it interesting.

”I’ve watched your movie ’Life’ and attended the screening of ’Behind the Scenes’ and seen your performance,” Brillanch said, ”I personally like your style of acting in films. You are a very powerful female, which is precisely the quality needed for the heroine in my film.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Mr. Brillanch, may I ask what the story is about?”

”The original is a science fiction novel set in a future where all college students need to participate in a virtual competition called the arena. The results will determine the different areas you can go, the higher the ranking, the better and more prosperous the area,” Brillanch said, ”The first film’s story is about the heroine’s efforts to win in the arena so she can meet her father, who works in Zone One.”

Listening to Brillanch’s description, Zhou Yun was somewhat surprised.

The subject seems a bit cyberpunk.

She was very interested.

Zhou Lan had been listening all along and spoke up at this moment, ”Mr. Brillanch, hello, I am Zhou Yun’s agent, Zhou Lan. From your explanation earlier, this should be a very action-packed and fighting movie?”

Brillanch nodded.

He said, ”I’ve investigated, Zhou Yun has participated in the filming of two action movies in the past, right?”

”Yes, she has indeed received such training,” Zhou Lan directly attributed Zhou Yun as having ”received such training.”

Brillanch said, ”So I think Zhou Yun should have no problem filming our movie.”

Zhou Yun asked, ”Mr. Brillanch, may I ask which director you’re planning to get for this film?”

”We are in contact with Christopher Rubin, Ou Friesol, and Zhou Bide,” Brillanch said, ”All three have successful experience directing films on similar themes. Additionally, we will invest Sixty Million Dollars in this movie production. It will be a major project and released globally.”

”Mr. Brillanch, can I read the script first?” Zhou Yun asked, ”I’m accustomed to making decisions after reading the script.”

Brillanch nodded and said, ”Of course you can.”

He said, ”However, before you read the script, please sign a confidentiality agreement with us first.”

So meticulous.

Zhou Yun didn’t think it was making a fuss, as she read through the confidentiality agreement and signed it as he said.
