Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 851: Chapter 543: The Brown-Haired Man (Part 2)

The man suddenly glared fiercely at her and said, ”What do you know!”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

The man stormed off.

Zhou Yun told Cristina about it.

About an hour later, Cristina replied: You don’t need to pay attention to him; he’s just a madman.

Zhou Yun didn’t care much about the man; after all, she was going back home after participating in the Los Angeles screening event. She just thought his behavior seemed a bit dangerous, so she told Cristina to give her a heads-up.

In the evening, Zhou Yun and You Jiang arranged to have dinner together.

Today was a day off, but Zhou Lan did not join them.

Zhou Lan had arranged to meet with a producer who was currently in Los Angeles.

So, only Zhou Yun, Zheng Xiaojue, and You Jiang were having dinner together.

”Are you Zhou Yun?”

Halfway through the meal, suddenly, a blonde woman came over, looking at her with a somewhat expectant expression.

Zhou Yun glanced at the woman with some surprise and nodded, ”I am. May I ask who you are?”

”I am Davis. I watched the movie you acted in last week. I didn’t expect to meet you today, it’s such a surprise!” the woman named Davis exclaimed.

Turns out she was a fan.

Zhou Yun smiled and thanked her.

Davis proposed taking a photo with Zhou Yun, and Zhou Yun agreed. You Jiang took Davis’s phone and snapped a picture for them.

Davis excitedly said thank you.

Zhou Yun shook her head with a smile and said it was nothing.

After the female fan left, You Jiang said, ”Xiao Yun, you’re famous across the ocean now.”

”Teacher You, don’t tease me, it’s just a fan,”

Even saying this, hearing a stranger foreigner say they love her movie does feel quite good.

Zhou Yun happily drank an extra glass.

Tipsy.

That night, after returning to the hotel, Zhou Yun quickly went to bed.

Tomorrow she needed to try on clothes and had a photo shoot, all arranged by Zhou Lan.

She happily drifted into a dream, not knowing how much time passed, suddenly feeling a bit cold, as if the window in the room was open.

Zhou Yun opened her eyes in a daze. In the darkness, she discovered that the window in her room was indeed open.

The curtains danced in the night breeze.

Zhou Yun froze. For a moment, she didn’t know if she was dreaming or if she was truly witnessing the moonlight outside.

Could it be, she didn’t close the window before falling asleep?

Zhou Yun carefully thought it over.

The sleepiness gradually faded from her mind as she sat up in bed, touched her arm, and got up to close the window.

Suddenly, her body instinctively and wildly manifested a spine-chilling feeling.

It was almost instantaneous, rushing along her body, spine, and nerves, straight to her head.

A gust of wind swooped from behind.

Zhou Yun swiftly dodged. A shadow aimed to choke her neck with their arm from behind, but missed.

Someone else really was in the room!

Zhou Yun, in that moment, rolled forward agilely, first creating distance from the person, then grabbing a paper box and quickly throwing it at them. Simultaneously, she got up from the ground, not intending to fight this person, but ran towards the door.

Run away!

Her intuition told her this.

While filming ”Two Tigers” and ”Four Killers,” Zhou Yun underwent extensive action training.

Because of this training, Zhou Yun was well aware of the vast difference in physical strength between men and women.

She had no plans to attempt a pointless fight with that person.

The most rational decision was to run.

Run out of this room. Whether she screams or does something else, being in a public area means the person wouldn’t dare act like they do in this room.

On her way to the door, Zhou Yun didn’t forget to knock over the suitcase against the wall, creating obstacles for the pursuer behind her, while also grabbing a cup and throwing it back.

This whole process didn’t slow her down.

However, just as her hand touched the doorknob, the person caught up with her, firmly gripping her neck and dragging her back.

Zhou Yun immediately felt her breathing become difficult, her brain filling with blood.

It took her two seconds to regain her composure before she rammed her elbow into the man behind her.
