Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 876: Chapter 556: Mélando’s New Film

Some reporters wanted to interview Zhou Yun.

Zhou Lan helped Zhou Yun decline the interview.

”Xiao Yun is currently fully preparing for ’Deep Sea,’ and is temporarily not accepting interviews, sorry.”

’Deep Sea’ is about to start filming, which is something everyone knows.

Reporters often want to interview Zhou Yun, and Zhou Lan regularly has to refuse many such inquiries each month. Many people use various connections, make phone calls, send messages, which Zhou Lan can’t entirely reject outright, but when it comes to matters of personal favors, she has to bother Zhou Yun.

But Zhou Lan wasn’t keen on letting Zhou Yun be interviewed.

Because Zhou Yun doesn’t talk in clichés.

She likes to be genuine, and being genuine means she often speaks from the heart, making it easy for others to pick her words apart.

Being a popular actress, the situation is like boiling oil, with so many people watching her, Zhou Lan has to help Zhou Yun be mindful, giving people less of a chance to find fault.

Just like the photos taken at the hotel entrance with Wei Heyun, a bit of embellishment and they’re already talking about them having a child.

Besides ’Deep Sea,’ there’s another important matter, the Lingjun Award.

This year, Zhou Yun received three nominations, attracting much attention, making people in the industry curious whether Zhou Yun can, after the Qingmu Award, win a second Movie Queen trophy among the three major domestic awards.

After all, both ’Life’ and ’Behind the Scenes’ have high popularity.

The Lingjun Award ceremony is scheduled for the end of September.

The organizers have already contacted Zhou Yun’s side in advance to confirm her attendance at the award ceremony.

If Zhou Yun doesn’t attend this award ceremony, it almost seems like it can’t be held.

For an award like the Lingjun Award, saying this might be a bit much. But mainly because Zhou Yun received three nominations at once this time, her momentum is too strong, and no one can match her brilliance. If Zhou Yun doesn’t attend the award ceremony, the attention will reduce by at least half.

The ceremony is approaching, and during this time, the nominated celebrities frequently appear in various shows and events.

Many people see the entertainment industry as a vanity fair.

There’s some truth to this.

Fame and fortune are always inseparable.

But Zhou Yun follows a strategy of keeping a low profile, and these days hardly goes out, not creating any news for herself.

She is already eye-catching enough, no need to be more so.

Zhou Lan’s focus during this period has entirely shifted to Wang Jing.

This time, Wang Jing is nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress, also gaining significant attention.

Zhou Lan wants to use this award ceremony to help Wang Jing successfully reach a new level.

For all the media and reporters who can’t interview Zhou Yun, Zhou Lan introduced Wang Jing instead.

They were certainly willing to interview Wang Jing.

’Behind the Scenes’ itself is a popular movie, and Wang Jing’s performance is notable as well.

Someone asked how she would evaluate herself and Zhou Yun both being nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

Wang Jing responded, ”I am very honored to be nominated alongside Sister Xiao Yun.”

Someone asked, do you think you have a chance to win an award?

Wang Jing replied, ”I want to win, but whether there’s a chance, isn’t up to me.”

Some people said Wang Jing’s style in accepting interviews seems quite similar to Zhou Yun’s.

Wang Jing indeed has been influenced significantly by Zhou Yun.

Her heart sees Zhou Yun as her idol. Whether it’s being an actress, or a person.

Wang Jing is not one without ambition, nor has she never been jealous of Zhou Yun, but she always faces her jealous feelings directly and then resolves them.

Perhaps after staying around Zhou Yun for a long time, Wang Jing’s spirit is also elevated now.

She never stooped to use underhanded tactics to elevate herself or undermine others.

With ability, just focus on acting well, and there will be a long future.

Can’t let jealousy destroy her rationality. Wang Jing often tells herself this. And aside from these, her respect and admiration for Zhou Yun are genuine.

As the Lingjun Award ceremony draws near and the entertainment industry is lively because of this grand event, another news quietly circulated out.

Hollywood’s famous film company Paimon is set to film a movie featuring a Chinese Warrior as the protagonist, currently casting in China.

A marketing account released a long list, taking a sweep of almost all top-tier actors, saying Paimon is in contact with these figures on the list.

Among the actresses, Zhou Yun ranks first.

Everyone who saw this list was very excited.

An entertainment blogger analyzed, saying casting Zhou Yun for the female lead is indeed the most likely choice. ’Behind the Scenes’ has just collaborated with Zhou Yun, with Paimon responsible for its distribution in North America, not only gaining significant acclaim, but the box office forecasts are also high. With this experience, Paimon would consider Zhou Yun first.
