Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 852: Chapter 543: Brown-Haired Man (Part 3)

The elbow strike landed on the man’s abdomen, and Zhou Yun heard the man’s pained cry, as the strength in his arms slackened a bit.

Zhou Yun used the set of moves she had learned before, quickly freeing herself from the restraint, and at the same time, she lifted her foot, kicking directly at the man’s abdomen.

However, her strength was insufficient, and though she kicked, the man only stepped back one step.

In a fraction of a second, Zhou Yun made a decision between turning to escape and continuing to attack.

The distance was too short for her to successfully open the door, and she would again be in the same predicament.

During her action training, she had learned an important lesson: once you start, don’t hesitate, charge in fearlessly; in fast-paced action, the opponent would be suppressed by three parts.

Zhou Yun dared not entertain the thought of defeating the opponent directly, only hoping to knock him down to buy herself time to escape.

She kicked out one foot after another, partially because her leg strength was greater than her hand strength, and partially because Zhou Yun dared not get too close to him.

She lacked confidence in maintaining enough distance to avoid getting caught and having her hands subdued.

The man blocked her kicks several times but was ultimately forced back by Zhou Yun’s fierce attack, not daring to advance.

Zhou Yun could only make out the man’s outline with the help of the moonlight outside the window.

He seemed vaguely familiar, but she couldn’t see clearly.

Zhou Yun held her body in a blocking and ready-to-attack stance, watching her opponent warily.

At this moment, there was some stalemate between them.

Suddenly, Zhou Yun realized she couldn’t let him catch his breath; otherwise, if he recovered, he would become stronger.

So, Zhou Yun shouted again and charged forward.

At that moment, the man swiftly grabbed Zhou Yun’s kicking foot.

Zhou Yun silently cursed in her heart.

Sure enough, in the next second, she was seized by her ankle and tossed aside by him, causing her to lose balance and fall to the ground.

Zhou Yun tried hard to kick free from the foot he had grabbed, attempting to break free, but he was already upon her, pressing down with excitement in his voice. He released her foot, only to grasp her neck with one hand.

Zhou Yun was once again trapped in a state of suffocation.

She struggled desperately, but the man’s body was as heavy as a lump of iron, pinning her down so she couldn’t move.

She wanted to pry his hand from her neck but couldn’t.

Zhou Yun realized that if she didn’t figure out a way to free herself, she might be strangled to death in this foreign hotel tonight.

Both of his hands were now on her neck.

Zhou Yun clenched her right fist tightly, and suddenly punched towards his face.

With a ”bang,” Zhou Yun, who had indeed practiced, landed a direct punch on his nose.

In fact, the nose is the most fragile part of the human face; a sudden punch can make the whole person dizzy.

Zhou Yun remembered what her martial arts master had said. After landing a punch, her Left Hand followed up with another punch.

Sure enough, the man immediately let go, covering his nose.

Zhou Yun dared not miss this opportunity, and since her legs were pinned down, she used her core strength to lift her upper body and landed another punch on his face, this time hitting his right eye.

His hands were covering his nose, yelping in pain, thus exposing another weakness.

As he screamed, Zhou Yun’s other punch altered its trajectory, going directly for his groin.

Finally, the weight pressing her down shifted with a roar of anger.

Zhou Yun pushed him away, using almost all her strength, and kicked him strongly on his body, stomach, and waist to ensure he couldn’t get up quickly. Taking a deep breath, she turned and ran to the door.

She glanced back and saw the man still shakily trying to get up from the floor.

But this time, he didn’t catch up with her.

Zhou Yun opened the room door and rushed out.

She screamed ”Help!” at the top of her lungs, dashed into the stairwell instead of taking the elevator, stumbled down the stairs, and ran to the reception desk.

The people at the front desk were startled by her appearance.

Zhou Yun was still trembling, shouting, ”Call the police for me, someone broke into my room!”

Under the bright lights of the hotel lobby, she felt a lingering fear, her lips turned pale, like someone who just narrowly escaped drowning.

Only at that moment did she start to recall who the man was and what he looked like.

An hour later, she saw the man’s face on the surveillance footage: the brown-haired man who had harassed Cristina that afternoon.
