Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 600: Chapter 430: The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl

Rumble——

Amidst the continuous thunderous noise, the intense Dragon Flame breath scorched the plaza tiles, constantly covering the surrounding space in search of the ”disappearing” Dragapult.

Fortunately, the plaza tiles were strong enough, and thus weren’t shattered by the Dragon’s Pulse.

”Sa-saa!”

The Hydreigon, whose move had missed, wasn’t in a hurry. It raised its head, sniffed twice, then quickly turned to its left!

Bam!

A loud explosion resounded in the void.

Amidst blazing flames, Dragapult suddenly emerged, and a blue shadow shot forth from its head like a bolt of lightning, charging straight toward the Hydreigon!

Its speed was so fast that Hydreigon couldn’t react in time.

Fortunately, as soon as it smelled Dragapult, it had already put up a Defend.

Thunk!

The semicircular light shield made up of countless hexagons trembled violently. One could clearly see Dreepy enveloped in a blue glow, trailing a long line of smoke like a missile, trying to drill through the light shield.

However, once the Dragon Arrow’s Attribute Energy was exhausted, it was unable to complete this honorable mission. Instead, Hydreigon bit it hard and tossed it to its tail.

The entangled Brother Dragapult struggled furiously.

”Hissya! Hissya!”

”Hya!”

Seeing this, Sister Dragapult looked at it with frustration, wanting to claw at it, but once again was stopped by Baimu.

”It’s very dangerous to randomly interfere in other Pokémon’s battles.”

He warned, ”Your brother lacks awareness of critical situations, that’s why he got caught by Hydreigon so easily.”

Dreepy is not a one-time missile; after using Dragon Arrow, it needs to fly back by itself, or Dragapult needs to pick it up for it to be effective.

So, even if its involvement in the battle is only limited to Dragon Arrow, it still requires enough skillful maneuvering.

Otherwise, Dragon Arrow would just be a one-time move.

”... Hissya?”

Sister Dragapult showed a somewhat confused expression.

It’s clear that such complex sentences are difficult for a Pokémon that doesn’t interact much with humans to understand, and could only watch anxiously at its brother.

Baimu wasn’t too disappointed, muttering: ”Level ten or so... It’s similar to starting from scratch, take it slow.”

Meanwhile, ahead, Hydreigon seemed to sense the intense gaze from behind, decisively throwing Brother Dragapult to the rear.

More importantly, it found Dreepy not very useful as a dragon type.

More like a burden.

Better to use it as bait to distract.

Sure enough, when Brother Dragapult flew backward, Dragapult’s gaze was drawn toward it.

Hydreigon didn’t hesitate to flap its wings and ascend higher into the air!

”Sa-saa!”

Blue flames ignited from each of its three heads, quickly enveloping its entire body.

Dragon Dive!

A menacing aura descended before Dragapult could use Invisibility to evade, pressing down on it like a mountain.

Though it had a slightly higher Energy Level, upon closer inspection, its various performances seemed inferior to Hydreigon.

From behind.

”Hissya!”

Sister Dragapult quickly moved forward to catch its brother and couldn’t help but glance at Baimu again, thinking it would be stopped again.

After holding its brother, it lifted its claw and pummeled him twice, making him cover his head and run away.

”Hissya?”

Brother Dragapult held its head in grievance, completely unaware of why its sister was angry.

Was she mad about it ”betraying”? But wouldn’t any Dreepy want to be launched by Dragapult?

Brother Dragapult thought sister wanted to as well, but was just holding back, ”Hissya!”

No need to hold back, what’s the point of holding back!

Sister Dragapult got even angrier, this idiot always causing trouble——

Boom!

A thunderous noise, immense blue Dragon Flame and dust spread together.

As the two small Dreepy were making a fuss, the menacing Energy Flying Dragon, embodied by the Hydreigon, and the Dragon Dive used by Dragapult collided.

The resulting clash was this outcome.

”Sa-saa!”

Hydreigon backed out of the thick smoke, its vigorous state proving it had the upper hand in the clash.

As for Dragapult, though obscured by the smoke, one could vaguely see it covered in Dragon Flame, panting heavily.

The plaza tiles had cracked due to the Pokémon’s exchange of attacks, but Baimu was already prepared to pay for damages.

”Watch out! Hidden Spirit Strike incoming!”

He warned, discovering Dragapult disappearing into the smoke.

In this battle, he gave few directives to see Hydreigon’s initiative.

So far, its performance had been satisfactory to him.

Especially starting with Defend when the situation seemed off, showing Hydreigon had inherited his combat habits.

”Sa-saa!”

”Not smelling it is normal, this guy is in an Alternate Space!”

”Sa-saa?”

Hydreigon expressed surprise upon hearing the trainer’s words.

Alternate Space? The same Spirit Realm the trainer visited yesterday?

Can Dragapult come and go freely?

As it pondered, a narrow beam of red light suddenly shone from the shadow beneath it.

Whoosh!

Dragapult shot out from the shadow, crashing hard into the unguarded back of Hydreigon!

”Loodra!”

However, just as it was about to hit, Hydreigon suddenly turned, with the heads on either side biting down on both sides of its triangular head.

Then, Dragapult’s tail pierced its chest, Ghost Attribute Energy exploded into a cloud of smoke, but it was like nothing to the dragon, who continued to hold onto its head.
