Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 567: Chapter 415: Porygon II_3

”Ah!”

Tie Xuan slapped his forehead in frustration, realizing that with age, his reaction time had slowed. He hadn’t even noticed Porygon using Lock-On, causing his command to be one step too late, not only failing to alert Rotom but also becoming a burden!

Fortunately, the Washing Rotom was sturdy enough that it wasn’t taken down by the sudden Shadow Ball. After wobbling back into the air, the glow from Charge on its surface had yet to dissipate.

At most, only about half had faded.

Apparently, the Special Defense boost from Charge was enough to allow it to withstand Porygon’s non-native Shadow Ball.

Tie Xuan was overjoyed.

”Thunder!”

He knew the opportunity wouldn’t come again, and continuing to Charge would only waste the precious electricity Rotom had painstakingly held onto!

Washing Rotom roared in fury, ”Woosh!”

Pain can make a creature weak, but occasionally, it can also awaken their will!

Crash!

The roaring thunder shot skyward, twisting in midair to form a bright thundering tree, its glittering lightning branches reaching out toward Porygon!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The current danced like silver snakes, licking the ground and constantly blasting out crater after crater. The terrifying power made eardrums tremble, on the verge of shattering.

What a formidable strike, even with half of the accumulated electric energy depleted.

Even though Porygon had been transformed into a Ground Attribute at Baimu’s command, it couldn’t help but feel a bit intimidated by the giant tree of thunder.

Using Texture 2 was the right choice; even with a Dragon Attribute, this attack couldn’t be withstood!

Rumble!!

The lightning pierced through the air, landing beside Porygon. Although the Electric Attribute energy had no effect, the rocks blasted up by the thunder’s strike still caused some damage to it.

It struggled to dodge the debris, having to admit—

The Attribute energy was running out.

Two Magic Spaces, along with many uses of Texture 2, Angularization, and various Attribute attacks—each time exerting full effort—had left its energy nearly depleted.

Endurance battles are extremely disadvantageous for low-level Pokémon, let alone a life-threatening wheel battle.

According to its judgment, it might only have three—no, possibly only two attempts left, a message it conveyed to the Trainer behind it through its tail.

Porygon decided to entrust everything to Baimu.

Because it firmly believed that the Trainer could use the few remaining chances to lead it to victory.

The thunder tree gradually dimmed.

Tie Xuan saw the scars from the debris on Porygon’s body and its labored breathing, yet it still hadn’t used Self-Rebirth to recover, and he understood.

”I see, it’s almost at its limit, ready to switch?”

Baimu did not answer, just furrowed his brows, seemingly deep in thought.

Tie Xuan shouted, ”Since you’re not switching, I won’t hold back! Rotom, use Water Cannon!”

Judging by Porygon’s color and the previous situation, it wasn’t hard to determine that it now had a Ground Attribute, which was exactly countered by Washing Rotom’s Water Cannon!

One last move!

Take it down!

”Woosh!”

Washing Rotom held the drain pipe, but the Water Cannon ultimately fired from the valve on its chest, releasing a torrent of azure terror like a roaring water dragon rushing toward Porygon.

Porygon desperately dodged, the water dragon fervently chasing as Washing Rotom turned, seemingly locking the two in a stalemate.

But just then, the Magic Space outside suddenly manifested and shattered!

Bang!

Innumerable points of light flashed; the space ended!

The sudden return of speed dulled Porygon’s evasion ability, while Washing Rotom’s speed increased, causing the Water Cannon to involuntarily tilt upwards in surprise.

Missed!

Tie Xuan never expected such a development; in panic, Washing Rotom swayed uncontrollably.

Baimu’s eyes brightened, and he shouted:

”Great opportunity! Triple Attack energy-saving version!”

”It’s on its last leg! Rotom, disassemble and hold on!”

Tie Xuan shouted as well, instantly seeing Porygon forming a three-colored light ball, firing colorful beams, while Rotom detached from the washing machine, reverting to its original plasma ghost form.

However.

”The power is so weak! Out of Attribute energy?” Tie Xuan watched, uncertain, as a beam only slightly thicker than a thumb pierced through Rotom’s body, then looked toward Porygon—

Where was Porygon!?

”Where did it go?”

Tie Xuan looked up at Rotom and observed all around, but Rotom responded with frantic beeps, indicating that while evading attacks, Porygon had suddenly vanished.

No sign anywhere.

Could Baimu have recalled it into a Pokeball?

”Quickly, get back to the washing machine!” he shouted, noting that Rotom integrated with an appliance was slightly stronger than a regular Rotom.

”Beep beep!”

Rotom plummeted, heading toward the washing machine on the ground.

Then.

The washing machine’s valve pointing skyward suddenly opened.

Tie Xuan’s eyes widened in disbelief.

”Shadow Ball!!”

Baimu’s voice echoed above the field, followed by a dark purple energy ball swiftly forming inside the washing machine’s valve, colliding head-on with the descending, wide-eyed Rotom!

Boom!

The mid-air of the field was enveloped in thick smoke!

The word ”Evasion” had just escaped Tie Xuan’s mouth before he swallowed it back.

The venue fell into a deathly silence.

Walt adjusted his glasses, his body trembling slightly.
