Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 560: Chapter 412: Magic Space (Part 2)

Could it be that we can only slowly wear it down?

On the other side.

Baimu also furrowed his brow.

Electrode’s speed was really too fast, faster than any opponent he had encountered before. It bounced back and forth using the electromagnetic levitated rocks and the surrounding walls, completely irregular in its movements, making it really difficult for Mega Aggron to catch this guy.

Should he try to spread out and use a wide-range technique?

No.

There’s a better way.

”Come back!”

He decisively withdrew Mega Aggron back into the Pokeball before Electrode could launch the next round of attacks. At the moment Aggron returned to the ball, he felt as if his entire being became clear-headed.

The mental burden on his mind was instantly lifted—

The magical effect of the Pokeball.

The principle was unclear, just like he didn’t know why he could share Mega Aggron’s mental burden.

Baimu quickly threw the ball, targeting a dead angle of attack that was difficult for Electrode to hit. Fortunately, in the animation, Pokémon exchanges don’t concern where the Pokémon is called back from, otherwise, Porygon would have to endure a hard hit from Electrode’s attack.

Even with a quick choice, breaking through to there was nothing to Electrode.

”What’s going on?”

Tie Xuan was very surprised that he chose to switch, clearly, Mega Aggron was in an advantageous position, and what surprised him even more was the Pokémon Baimu chose.

”Porygon? Electrode, use Electric Ball!”

Feeling uneasy, Tie Xuan shouted.

”Malu!”

Electrode, moving rapidly through the field by bouncing, immediately adjusted its angle, forcibly forming a trapezoid with one missing side, bathing itself in electric light and charging towards Porygon behind the rocks.

”Trick Room!”

Baimu’s shout echoed.

Porygon’s surface glowed with blue light as it looked at the rapidly approaching Electrode. Countless light blue and deep blue squares rose from the white line at the edge of the field, forming a huge rectangular space before quickly disappearing under Tie Xuan’s surprised gaze.

Bang!

The rock in front was smashed by Electrode wrapped in Electric Ball, but Porygon remained expressionless amid the debris.

”Dodge!”

”Pali!”

Porygon smoothly slid aside, and its explosively fast speed was surprisingly swift, narrowly brushing past Electrode.

Electrode flew straight to the wall outside the field, and when it bounced back into the field, it found its speed drastically reduced, whether its spinning speed or the momentum of its rebound, it was as slow as a snail.

[Trick Room], a magical technique that makes the faster Pokémon slower, and the slower Pokémon faster.

Tie Xuan’s eyes widened in disbelief. Although he had considered using Porygon as a smart control Pokémon in the past, he had never learned about its technique pool, and naturally didn’t know it could use such a strange move.

Electrode’s speed slowed down unavoidably, and as a Gym Leader, he couldn’t switch, so he could only think of a way to last until the space ended.

”Use Discharging!”

”Texture 2.”

The two commanded in unison.

Electric flashes burst from Electrode’s surface, with bright yellow electric snakes frantically licking everything around it, covering nearly half the field.

However, with its blue parts turning brown, Porygon ignored the strong currents, having transformed its attribute to Ground Attribute. As long as it didn’t meet the existence like Pikachu that could explode electricity everywhere, it had nothing to worry about in terms of taking damage.

”Nani!?”

Tie Xuan was shocked, ”Isn’t Porygon supposed to be a General Attribute Pokémon!”

Seeing Tie Xuan so surprised, Baimu couldn’t help feeling surprised as well, ”Don’t you know what special ability Porygon has? Then I won’t hold back, Ice Beam!”

”Pali!”

Porygon’s antenna-like tail lifted high, a flash of icy light shone, and multiple icy blue flashes shot out, passing through the current released by Electrode and hitting it.

With a bright icy blue light and continuous cracking sounds, Electrode was frozen into a gigantic Ice Ball and fell to the ground.

Thunk!

With a crisp sound, Electrode blinked its small green bean eyes within the ice crystal, swaying back and forth on the spot involuntarily.

In the animation, the freezing probability of Frozen Beam is extremely high, and Baimu, as a lucky person blessed by the Lucky Scale, often manages to freeze opponents successfully as a ”European.”

Today is no exception.

Too many things exceeded expectations, Tie Xuan shouted, ”Electrode! Quickly use Sound Burst to break free!”

In the distance.

Baimu quickly took out the Pokeball to withdraw Porygon and replaced it with Mega Aggron, the mental burden pressing him again, but he still shouted out, ”Leave the final strike to you! Ace! Sharp Stone Attack!”

”Roar!”

Mega Aggron let out a low roar, and its right claw slammed heavily into the ground.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Huge azure stone pillars burst from the ground at an extremely fast speed, spreading towards the Electrode who was trying to roll and crazily using sound waves to shatter ice crystals bit by bit.

And at the instant that the ice crystal shattered and Electrode gained freedom, the giant rocks of the Sharp Stone Attack had already arrived, with a loud roar they surged from underground, piercing through the suddenly emergent colorful Barrier and crashing into it!

Bang!

The giant rock shattered in the explosion into countless fragments, giving the high-flying Electrode secondary damage, making it cry out in pain.

”Maru!”

Tie Xuan clenched his fists tightly, shouting skyward, ”Hold on, Electrode!”

But obviously under the powerful assault of Mega Aggron, it couldn’t hold on any longer, perhaps on the verge of fainting, only needing the impact from hitting the ground to knock it out.

Therefore.

When Tie Xuan saw that Electrode was flying in the direction close to Mega Aggron, he made a decision in that brief second, ”Big Explosion!”

In mid-air, Electrode did not hesitate to detonate the electricity within its body, its surface lighting up with a terrifying white glow seemingly capable of obliterating everything around it——

”Been guarding against this move of yours! Digging!”

Baimu shouted out loud, as Mega Aggron quickly clawed into the ground, burrowing rapidly.

The next moment.

Boom——!!

Dazzling white light accompanied by turbulent waves rushed towards all directions, the rocks supported by Electromagnetic Levitation all turned into smoke and dust, filling every visible space.

The air and ground shook crazily, seeming to disintegrate and shatter, the deafening roar directly causing several incandescent lamps on the ceiling to suddenly dim.

The terrifying shockwave even caused Baimu in his Molten Rock Armor to stagger back repeatedly.

Compared to Steelix’s Big Explosion, Electrode’s Big Explosion was only stronger, but due to spatial constraints, it couldn’t rise into a towering mushroom cloud, most of the smoke and dust circulated within the arena, obscuring the entire Gym battleground.

Fortunately, the Gym had many ventilators installed, seemingly used to such situations, quickly extracting the enveloping dust clouds, revealing an incredibly smooth ground——

Alright.

If not for the hole dug by Mega Aggron, it would’ve been even more harmonious.

Electrode fell outside the arena, smoke rising from all over its body, its ivory-like teeth reflecting in the light from the lamps.

”Roar.”

Mega Aggron seemed to sense that everything had settled, emerging from underground.

”Electrode has lost combat ability, Aggron wins! Gym Leader’s side has two Pokémon remaining!” Walt stood from behind the platform, loudly announcing.

”Cough cough cough...”

Tie Xuan coughed as he looked helplessly at Electrode, a wasted hand which he regretted immensely, ”Thanks for your effort. You did really well!”

He withdrew it into the ball, taking out the remaining two Pokeballs full of dilemma.

Having reviewed Baimu’s Gym challenge data earlier, he specifically selected four reliable Pokémon, but did not expect the opponent’s strength to grow so swiftly.

Now the subsequent Pokémon seem to be not strong enough.

Should he switch?

Tie Xuan pondered for a moment, recalling his role as the Gym Leader to ensure challengers learn new things through battle.

A one-sided fight teaches nothing.

He made up his mind, in the confusion of Walt and Baimu, he walked to the wall and pressed a mechanism, revealing a small opening with six Pokeballs inside.

Tie Xuan replaced them while explaining to Baimu, ”Your strength far exceeded my expectations, I’ve decided to bring out stronger Pokémon to battle you!”

Temporary selection change?

Baimu was momentarily stunned, nodding without objection.
