Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 583: Chapter 422: Spirit Realm Entrance_3

The latter, who was already prepared for questioning, directly attributed it to the Zeroth Machine, saying that this inexplicable guy told him there was something he wanted in the spirit world.

The half-truths made neither Furong nor Bonnie see any flaws.

”Something you want... what is it?”

”There’s everything in the spirit world, just not very easy to bring out.”

The two of them exchanged remarks one after another.

Baimu continued, ”What should we do next? Find other people from the Mauville Mountain Hotel to ask?”

”That’s also a way, but the best way right now is to find Miss Jun Sha for help and go through official channels,” Bonnie said calmly, and beside her, Furong let out a long ”Eh—” sound, looking very frustrated.

What’s wrong with going through official channels?

He was somewhat puzzled.

Bonnie saw his confusion and explained, ”Going through official channels means we have to personally write a report and then submit it to the league for approval, which is quite troublesome. However, if we don’t go through official channels for the Mauville Mountain Hotel’s matter, Miss Jun Sha probably can’t help much. By the way, you write the report.”

This sentence was directed at Furong.

Then Furong seemed even more upset.

Baimu saw all this and felt that the Four Heavenly Kings relying on the constraints of official power was excessive, limiting power to such an extent.

Then, he slightly raised his head and discovered that Dreepy had somehow fallen asleep on his head and even started snoring —

I’m not a Drakloak or Dragapult!

He reached out to try to take it off, but after thinking about it, decided to leave it be.

——

Two hours later.

Baimu and the others returned to Mauville Mountain Hotel.

But this time, compared to before, they brought Miss Jun Sha with them.

Earlier, Bonnie said it was quite troublesome, so Baimu thought the approval would take one or two days, but unexpectedly, the report was approved within ten minutes.

Surprisingly swift.

It was just that Furong took a long time to write the report.

Honestly, it was the first time he saw someone from the mainstream area with worse written language than him, including the handwriting.

Somehow it gave him a sense of relief.

It seems that being a strong trainer and having cultural knowledge are not synonymous.

And when they saw Miss Jun Sha, that supervisor looked ashen, muttering, ”I knew it, I knew it,” and obediently revealed the story behind Room 1608 —

The matter must be traced back to the predecessor of Li Mauville.

Even before it was built, Mauville Mountain Hotel was one of the owners of this land. At that time, Mauville Mountain Hotel was a subsidiary under the parent company Da Mauville Holdings, and the latter’s decline and bankruptcy also affected Mauville Mountain Hotel.

Fortunately, relying on several characteristics such as being an old brand and popular, the hotel barely held up.

But misfortune doesn’t strike alone, and fate always finds the unfortunate.

Before the hotel could fully recover, a bizarre incident occurred—a locked Room 1608 mysteriously appeared on the first floor.

Curious guests who pushed the door open fainted on the spot, and upon waking up, found themselves lying in the corridor, with all memories of Room 1608 vanished, leaving only a vague shadow.

They were barely able to reconstruct the situation using surveillance footage from that time, confirming that a room 1608 did appear on a supposedly blank section of wall.

This room appeared several times later, each time causing guests to faint, yet hotel staff never encountered it.

The hotel even invited a spirit medium but couldn’t figure out the problem with Room 1608.

In the end, they had no choice but to let the matter drop, and Mauville Mountain Hotel’s business plummeted, never to recover.

Fortunately, with the completion of Li Mauville’s construction, the renovated Mauville Mountain Hotel never saw Room 1608 again, and business recovered.

This room became taboo for hotel personnel, with disclosure leading to immediate dismissal.

The front desk staff came after Li Mauville was built and therefore had no knowledge of Room 1608’s existence.

The supervisor thought that if the Four Heavenly Kings brought Miss Jun Sha to inquire, it certainly wouldn’t be his responsibility, so he revealed the information, feeling much relieved afterward.

”Indeed... it’s the entrance to the spirit realm.” Furong nodded with certainty.
