Chapter 594: Chapter 427: Three Dragapult

It’s invisible!

Recalling the hostility in the triangular squinting eyes of Dragapult, Baimu knew things were amiss, and quickly turned to hide beside the door.

Sure enough.

Just as he moved, a stream of cyan-blue energy appeared from the void and rushed towards him!

But before it could charge out of the door frame, a semi-circular shield made up of countless hexagons blocked the entrance, completely containing the intense Dragon Breath within the room, unmoved despite its continuous assault.

A frustrated howl echoed in the air.

Baimu took a quick peek and saw the figure of Dragapult in the water once again concealing itself.

As something categorized as an Invisible Pokémon, its invisibility ability surpasses that of Dreepy, reaching a level where it leaves no trace even under direct light.

It’s really tricky.

But it seems like I don’t see its ”little ones” around.

He sharply noticed that the four holes above Dragapult’s head were absent of Dreepy, leading him to two guesses.

One was that the two Dreepies were hiding.

The other was that this guy was a lone dragon, and it might have run off with Brother Dragapult.

As he pondered, Furong beside him paid no mind to Dreepy, focusing all her attention on Corsola.

”Not bad at all!”

With a face full of appreciation, Furong, who was most fond of Ghost-type Pokémon, had already set her sights on this little thing loafing on her shoulder, but hadn’t spoken up immediately as she was holding onto the Night Shadow Demon to block Haunter in her memory.

Corsola didn’t reply, didn’t even glance at her.

This antisocial terrorist, which even Baimu found hard to deal with, dared not provoke Furong, pretending not to understand.

It only wished everyone was like Bonnie.

Few words.

The ignored Furong wasn’t upset, and even misunderstood its intention, teasingly saying, ”What a proud little fellow!”

Baimu kept his eyes on the room, using a flashlight to search for the vanished Dragapult, while thinking that the Celestial King had an unexpectedly laid-back attitude.

Such a large Dragapult had disappeared, and it even launched an attack on them, yet they remained unbothered!

Is this the confidence that comes with the power of a Celestial King?

He recalled how back in Pyrite Town, the Da Wu on Mega Metagross’s back also calmly commanded numerous Pokémon to attack Shadow Pokémon.

Indeed.

It’s like returning to the Spirit Realm is returning home, Kas’s tricks were easily uncovered, so of course, they wouldn’t care about a little Dragapult.

”Hee-yaa!”

Reunited with its sibling, Dreepy suddenly realized the atmosphere was off. When it turned back to Baimu and saw him sweeping the flashlight aimlessly, it was infected by his sense of urgency, feeling a bit nervous, and quickly used its little claw to grab its sibling’s claw, wanting to fly back.

But the sibling, resembling it nine out of ten times, remained still.

”Hee-yaa?”

Dreepy showed a puzzled expression, then saw its sibling break free from its claw and suddenly disappear into the air.

It froze for a moment, anxiously searching around.

”Hee-yaa!”

Just as it shouted, an explosive sound suddenly resounded in the air.

Boom!

A dazzling azure afterimage accompanied by a sudden burst of flame, like a supersonic missile, screeched outward at such a speed it was hard to catch with the naked eye, aiming directly at the nonchalant Furong by the door!

However, just as it was about to hit, a broad hand swiftly reached out like a flash of lightning, catching the ”missile” at the fastest speed.

With a bang, the Dragon Attribute Energy exploded in Dusknoir’s palm, though its expression didn’t change in the slightest, as another fist fired forward like surging waves!

Whoosh!

A massive fist of tangible dark energy suddenly pounded the roiling water surface with a terrifying explosion!

Splashing water soared into the sky!

Seeing this, Baimu shifted his gaze and immediately noticed the falling water droplets revealing the rough outline of the invisible Dragapult.

”Shadow Ball!”

A chaotic purple-black energy bullet shot out from Corsola on his shoulder. Dragapult realized it was exposed only after seeing the energy bullet launch toward it and was about to dodge when suddenly a sharp pain struck its lower back as if something had hit it.

There was no escaping the frontal Shadow Ball now.

Boom!

The purple-black energy blaze exploded with smoke, and Dragapult fell towards the water with a scream.

”Perfect timing! Throw the ball now!”

Furong’s excited shout prompted Baimu to instinctively grab an empty Luxury Ball and throw it, accurately hitting Dragapult floating on the water.

Thump~

The Luxury Ball opened, sucking Dragapult in, then fell onto the water, shaking violently.

Furong gave a thumbs-up, ”Nice aim, young man!”

”I’m not ’young’ anymore... Why did you let me capture Dragapult?” Baimu hadn’t actually intended to capture it; he originally planned to knock it out and then have a thorough chat.

But with her shout in his ear, he instinctively grabbed the empty Pokeball from his waist and threw it.

He had practiced the ball-throwing motion a lot, even though he seldom used it. The Pokémon at home were mostly bought or gifted, except for the one captured Corsola.

But the capture process turned out to be quite amusing.

Even though Corsola provided the decisive blow, if it weren’t for the Night Shadow Demon using Shadow Punch to splash the water and reveal Dragapult’s position, it would still be hard to catch it.
