Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 571: Chapter 417: Double-bladed Head Hammer

[Substitute].

Uses Attribute Energy to construct a false body to block opponents’ moves.

Normally, it is like this.

But Dr. Akihabara’s version of [Substitute] is different. It attempts to integrate Porygon II’s own information data stream into the base of Attribute Energy, decomposing it and injecting it to form a true second clone rather than a substitute, thus able to use moves normally—

”What’s normal about this...”

Baimu was speechless for a moment, he could only say that Dr. Akihabara, who created the virtual Pokémon, indeed introduced a piece of cross-era technology amidst this animation background filled with black technology.

The ’Doctor stated that this clone technology currently belongs to prototypes, unlike Angularization and Texture, Texture 2, which are completed products. It can only be applied to evolved Porygon II. Ordinary Porygon cannot successfully stream its own data, and even if it barely succeeds... it easily loses various databases.’

Porygon II emitted an emotionless mechanical sound.

The content was indeed terrifying.

Porygon’s database includes its memories, moves, subconsciousness, etc. If lost, the frightening scene of ”Who are you, uncle” could easily occur.

Baimu couldn’t help but ask, ”Are you sure Porygon II won’t have such issues? Doctor’s message makes me a bit uneasy.”

’In theory, it won’t. The Doctor has already had all Porygon II successfully use it once.’

Porygon II in the phone replied, ’Because Porygon II can perfectly backup its internal database, there is no need to worry about losing data after streaming. Part of the reason it can successfully create a second clone is also because of this important principle.’

”Theory...”

He murmured softly.

The value of the special Substitute is self-evident, belonging to the bug move that can turn singles into doubles. If this were a game, Porygon II would most likely be the Pokémon with the highest usage rate in singles.

Dr. Akihabara really packed a lot of bug stuff in to surpass Rotom.

It’s a bit of cheating.

Huh? I’m the one cheating?

Then it’s fine.

Baimu couldn’t resist the temptation to inquire about the special Substitute, and Porygon II in the phone was also looking at him energetically, clearly recognizing the strong value of this stuff in battles.

”...How soon can you master this special Substitute? Or do you automatically learn it after hard drive loading?”

’The latter! But it should take some time to get familiar with it!’

Porygon II still replied with a mechanical sound, but you could faintly hear some excitement.

”Great!”

Baimu sighed in relief, worried that this thing would require Porygon to comprehend it through the hard drive content, because it looked difficult to learn, and forced learning would definitely not happen quickly.

In theory, using Porygon’s method of learning moves, Dr. Akihabara should be able to instantly have Porygon learn all the moves it loads, but for ”more reasonable growth,” this gentleman suppressed Porygon’s moves to the lowest possible degree.

This allows trainers who obtain Porygon to participate in the former’s growth.

After all, getting something for nothing is not considered good for a trainer’s growth.

’Practice! Quickly go to the park to practice!’

Porygon II opened the phone map, marked the nearest park, urging the trainer to go inside quickly.

Having just evolved, it’s just like Hydreigon and Milotic, completely unable to sit still.

”No, we’re going somewhere else.”

Baimu entered an address that Porygon II felt like it had seen somewhere before.

’Oh! This is——’

”Tetsuya’s house.”

He got into a taxi on the roadside.

Since Dr. Akihabara is done here, he must quickly go find Tetsuya to learn Double-bladed Head Hammer to leave Mauville City early and move on to the next city with a gym.

Moreover, the imitation vanilla bought so much, it can’t be wasted.

However, [Double-bladed Head Hammer] for the current Aggron is just icing on the cake, it does not have the strong effect like Super Evolution, but as a rare powerful move, if used properly, it can occasionally create miraculous effects.

Rock Attribute also has the Hard Head trait, not learning Double-bladed Head Hammer feels like a waste no matter how you think about it.

”It’s time to show your understanding! Let’s learn it in one night!”

Baimu patted the Pokeball on his waist, speaking softly.

No response.

Clearly, Aggron didn’t intend to respond to such unreasonable words, learning in one night? Hydreigon learning Dragon Attribute moves may not even be learned in one night!

Without feedback, Baimu sighed heavily.

Perhaps due to his personal habits, all the Pokémon at home are, without exception, very calm and objective.

Such joking words naturally couldn’t easily fool them into responding.

Unless he truly felt they could do it, these guys would move, and even if the hope was slim, they would strive with all their might. Conversely, if the trainer said some hopeless joking words, they would never recklessly rush into things without considering the consequences.

Even Hydreigon is the same.

Will only agree verbally.

If it were Ash Ketchum’s hot-blooded Pokémon, whether possible or not, they’d definitely first work hard together with the trainer, and then succeed due to plot development.

Of course.

With each learning attempt, Ash firmly believes he can learn successfully, thus naturally learning the new move, or at least switching to a similar move.

That is the trainer and Pokémon’s mutual endeavor.

Following the address Tetsuya gave him, Baimu found this former championship winner’s home——
