Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 584: Chapter 423: Ancient Scripts

Room 1608 has been confirmed as the entrance to the Spirit Realm.

Now the question arises.

How can one find Room 1608?

According to the manager, ever since Mauville Mountain Hotel merged with Li Mauville, this strange room hasn’t appeared again. It seems that with the bustling popularity brought by the shopping mall and the presence of electronic ghosts like Rotom, the ghost room has been scared away.

But evidence proves that Room 1608 hasn’t disappeared.

Finding it has become a problem.

Everyone exited the manager’s office, and Bonnie thanked Miss Jun Sha, who had been listening in with them. The latter’s smile was somewhat strained.

”So it was the ghost room of Mauville Mountain Hotel. I remember my predecessor telling me about this, never thought you were looking for that. But as for the Spirit Realm, I won’t be able to accompany you...”

”This is more than enough.”

Bonnie replied softly, and Miss Jun Sha, having other matters to attend to, took her leave.

Baimu reopened the clues from the simulator, finally understanding why there was no time marked on it; so it was uncertain when Room 1608 would appear?

And the concept of a Spirit Realm entrance sounded terrifying.

He couldn’t help thinking of the episode during the journey where Ash Ketchum accidentally boarded the Ghost Train. Though it was quite an ordinary scenario, the fact that Spiritomb’s soul could enter Ash’s body and control him was proof enough of how dangerous Ghost-type Pokémon can be.

But since the clues were given, there was no way he would give up now.

It was a Pokémon destined for him!

After much thought, Baimu decided to cling to Furong. Since she is a legendary spirit medium and grew up on God-sending Mountain, she seemed well-versed with the Spirit Realm and adept at dealing with Ghost-type Pokémon and even True Ghosts.

Moreover, finding Room 1608 would also require her help.

”What do we do next?” He decisively tossed this cumbersome question over.

Furong thoughtfully stroked her chin, ”It seems we’ll have to use that method...”

”What method?”

”By gathering a large number of Ghost-type Pokémon or a ghost congregation to create a special magnetic field, we can lure Room 1608 to appear!” she exclaimed confidently.

”Lure... Is that feasible?”

”Absolutely! Don’t underestimate me, Baimu! You and Bonnie just wait patiently at the hotel!”

Furong winked at him and then quickly ran out of the hotel, with the tall Dusknoir following closely behind her.

Baimu didn’t even have time to ask how exactly it works, and what would happen if they suddenly stuffed the hotel with so many Ghost-type Pokémon. Wouldn’t it affect the hotel’s business?

Just a wild Misdreavus had already scared the front desk lady into an early shift change.

If it was super doubled, how many guests would faint from fright?

Bonnie thought the same thing, so she left a statement saying, ”I’ll leave Dreepy to you,” and quickly chased after Furong.

”Eh? Eh?? Wait! At least leave a phone number for me—”

Baimu widened his eyes, chased to the staircase, but found that Bonnie, clad in a purple dress, had disappeared without a trace. He couldn’t spot them even after running to the first floor of Li Mauville and outside.

How did they move so fast?

He looked up speechlessly, staring at Dreepy, who was snoozing soundly above him.

This little guy, one of the main characters in the missing event, was ruthlessly ”abandoned” by Furong!

The key was that since noon, Dreepy showed no signs of waking up!

How long can you sleep?!

No way, are all Ghost-type Pokémon like this?

Baimu just felt a chill, casting a glance at Mawile, who was yawning out of boredom beside him, ”So... what do we do next?”

”Cheh-doh~”

Mawile suggested either searching for where they went and chasing after them, or going back to the room for a nap or to play on the phone.

”—Alright.”

After thinking it over, he chose the latter.

Forcing himself to follow wouldn’t help much anyway. Those two Celestial Kings had more than enough battle power compared to him; at most, he could only watch from the sidelines as Furong and Bonnie searched for Ghost-type Pokémon and True Ghosts everywhere.

Instead of being an onlooker, it was better to go back and prepare well for the upcoming journey to the Spirit Realm.

Like making some special bombs.

Baimu hadn’t forgotten the explosive-making talent gifted by the female student; later he would buy some raw materials and make all the bombs he needed. He believed that if the female student could use these to take down a bunch of wild Pokémon, surely he could do the same.

—

Little did he know that waiting would take almost seven hours.

Nine o’clock in the evening.

Outside, the night had long descended, with the bright street lights and the noise of traffic filtering in, creating a lively clamor.

Baimu sat on the room’s sofa, looking at the time on his phone, then at Dreepy, who still hadn’t woken up on the bed, feeling a bit annoyed.

Even though he went through so much trouble to get Queen Bonnie’s contact information, she neither answered his calls nor replied to his messages.

Having a phone but not being able to get in touch was the most troublesome thing.

”Just how many Ghost Pokémon are they planning to gather...”

He muttered to himself, contemplating whether to wander through the hotel corridors again. Even though he had already roamed four or five times, and despite wandering during Neon’s signature twilight hours for a long time with no results, perhaps late at night might prove effective?

An eerie thing like Room 1608 should logically prefer to appear at midnight!

With this in mind, Baimu picked up Dreepy from the bed and placed it on his head, and called over Mawile, who was watching TV, ”Let’s go! Let’s take another round!”
