Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 563: Chapter 414: Battle Machines

The two Pokémon watched each other intently.

Both sides adjusted their breathing, one having just frantically dodged falling Thunder, while the other struggled for ages against a strong opponent, finally seizing a chance, only to suddenly explode in strength.

Both were very tired.

As Trainers, Tie Xuan and Baimu were similarly silent, without issuing commands, each catching their breath.

Of course, they weren’t idle either, with Tie Xuan seeming like he was falling into a cutscene, entering a serious Gym Leader mode, ”Heh! Baimu! You’ve been one of the strongest Trainers during my years as a Gym Leader!”

”... You’re too kind.”

Baimu responded quietly.

He felt a little nauseous.

Having Mega Aggron return to the Pokeball freed him from the mental burden, but having the Pokeball come and go, tightening and relaxing his Heart Power repeatedly, was like a 3D dizziness, and he was never at ease.

Do other Trainers who can Super Evolve feel the same? It’s likely due to inexperience!

He was glad he could endure it and stay within a tolerable range.

Considering the situation, Porygon was clearly inferior to Manectric in various aspects.

After all, its level was only Level 50 at the moment, with at least a ten-level difference compared to Manectric, not to mention Effort Values.

The effort accumulated over years by others couldn’t be compared to Porygon’s mere months of effort.

Baimu’s Golden Finger could only allow for slightly faster progress, saving some Heart Power and learning more skills.

Moreover, Porygon hadn’t received many levels and moves rewards from Simulators yet, and most of its skills were earned through its own hard training, making the gap with Manectric even larger.

However.

This didn’t mean Porygon had no chance of winning.

Manectric had been battling with Mega Aggron so long that its condition was noticeably worse than at the start, and under Magic Space, its speed was greatly reduced, halving its prowess.

In contrast, Porygon had just dodged a ”Deadly” move, with its condition excellent, poised to take Manectric down in one fell swoop!

”Angularization!”

”Frozen Fang!”

As if someone had sounded a silent horn, both Baimu and Tie Xuan issued their commands simultaneously.

In an instant.

Porygon’s leg attachments were enveloped in a blue light, transforming from polygons into two massive round wheels, though upon closer inspection, the edges of the wheels were full of fine teeth, though they were too small to be seen easily.

Meanwhile, Manectric, pressing its body downward, suddenly lunged at Porygon, exposing sharp teeth exuding a chilly breath, with a fiercely menacing expression.

”Fwoo!”

The howl of a ferocious wolf echoed in the arena.

In the blink of an eye, Porygon’s leg gears spun wildly, kicking up dust and speeding forward like a remote-control car, evading!

Manectric’s Fierce Dive missed, incredulously watching the speeding Porygon suddenly drift and spin, facing it head-on.

”What’s happening!?”

Tie Xuan’s expression mirrored Manectric’s, but soon he recalled what Dr. Akihabara had introduced to him——Porygon’s signature move [Angularization].

It had the effect of changing its form.

Back then, he thought this move was interesting, perhaps applicable to his mechanisms, but then decided he came to recruit a ”Network Administrator” rather than toy blocks, and so he gave it up.

He didn’t expect to be so vexed by Angularization one day.

”Signal Beam!”

”Dodge! Strong Mental Will!”

Both trainers shouted and waved.

Under Magic Space, Porygon perfectly inherited Manectric’s high speed with its gears, allowing it to drift and dodge Manectric’s incoming gleaming green beam while launching a mental offensive.

”Pali!”

A pink-purple light wave spread out, converting into invisible fluctuations and transmitting forward, with Manectric unable to evade, its speed greatly reduced, and its body involuntarily floating, suffering multiple Energy Shocks from the mental waves!

Buzz! Buzz!

Two fierce tremors in succession!

”Ow!”

Manectric felt itself being twisted and crushed like a ball by an invisible hand and then slammed against the arena’s wall.

Bang!

A muffled crash.

Wolf-like Manectric fell to the ground.

Unfortunate.

Due to Texture 2 altering Porygon to a Ground Attribute, not its own Psychic Attribute, the Strong Mental Will’s power was greatly discounted, paired with Manectric having used Charge to enhance its Special Defense beforehand, thus failing to deal knock-out damage.

The Egyptian-style yellow-haired wolf managed to stand up again on its four paws.

”Well done! Manectric! Show these young folks we’re not so easily defeated!” Tie Xuan laughed heartily, deeply gratified by its resilient spirit.

Manectric seemed to boost his own courage, throwing back its head to howl, ”Fwoo——!!”

This guy is so tough!

Baimu clicked his tongue privately, then reflected bitterly, ”Downloading without Special Attack boost is too hurtful...”

Right when Porygon entered the battle, the download Trait triggered——boosting the weaker defense attribute of the opponent, based on his Illustrated Guide, the download ultimately boosted Physical Attack for Porygon.

”Pali!”

Porygon looked at the endlessly stubborn Manectric, with its leg gears nearly sparking from the urgency.

”Don’t rush! Once doesn’t work, try again! Don’t underestimate the opponent! Strong Mental Will!”

He shouted reminders, and the Trainer’s command let the slightly anxious Porygon ”wake up,” with its battle analysis module working further, suppressing parts of the emotion module.
