Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 579: Chapter 421: Ghost? Ghost!

You traveled all the way from Mauville City to Meteor Falls, and now you’re telling me to go back?

Are you out of your mind?

Baimu’s forehead pulsed with a vein. In the Dragon Nest, with so many Dragon-type Quasi-Gods, not a single one was destined for him? Isn’t that a bit much?

And then there’s this clue hint.

The room numbers at Mauville Mountain Hotel are set according to direction, with only four large sections abcd followed by three numbers, like Bonnie’s room b113, and his own room a105.

Where did room 1608 come from?

And then being told to lie silently in a bathtub at 2:30 in the night, regardless of what sounds occur around him... What kind of ghost story theater is this?

Only a Ghost Attribute would come to such a weird place.

When it comes to Ghost Attributes...

Dragapult?

But Dragapult doesn’t seem to do these ghost story-like scenarios, does it? The devolved Drakloak is classified as a Nanny Pokémon; could it be that something new was added to the Dragapult’s Illustrated Guide in the later generations?

Or maybe there will be other Ghost Attributes emerging in the later generations, and they have a Species Value of 600.

Anyway, he must return to Mauville City if he doesn’t want to waste this opportunity, and it must be before tonight...

Huh?

It seems he hadn’t mentioned it must be before tonight.

Baimu carefully re-read the conditions noted above, and sure enough, it didn’t say he had to go to the bathtub before 2:30 tonight; it only mentioned going to the bathtub at 1608 before 2:30 in the morning.

So does this mean the clue won’t vanish in a blink?

He glanced at the Dragon Nest in Meteor Falls, where dragons were frolicking, thought for a moment, and then lightly patted Hydreigon’s neck, shouting against the wind:

”Turn around! We’re heading back to the station!”

”Shasa?”

”Cheedo?”

Both Hydreigon, which was just about to descend, and the Mawile sitting in his lap paused, either turning their heads or lifting them to look at him.

”A little situation has come up, and we need to return to Mauville City to greet a new partner.”

Baimu helplessly explained, ”The powerful giant dragons here aren’t meant for me. Let’s head back to Mauville City to find our destined partner.”

”Cheedo!”

Mawile was quite upset; just as it was about to descend to find a place to watch TV shows, you’re telling it to turn back?

”Shasa~”

However, Hydreigon happily turned around and did as it was told. As long as it wasn’t facing those guys down there, anything was fine for it. Truth be told, except for some of the older ones, it didn’t think much of the other Dragon-type Pokémon.

Too weak!

”Sorry, sorry, my bad.”

Baimu quickly apologized to Mawile, adding that although it couldn’t watch videos in the sky, playing some small games was certainly doable.

And then.

Under his personal, hand-to-hand guidance, Mawile started playing a match-three game similar to the tile-matching games and instantly got hooked.

Seeing Mawile enjoying itself and Hydreigon bending its left head trying hard to peek, Baimu’s resolve grew stronger in his heart—

Literacy campaign!

Must have a literacy campaign!

——

Mauville Mountain Luxury Hotel.

A brown-skinned girl with a Southern Style walked happily to the front desk.

”Good morning~”

”Good morning, how may I assist you?” The receptionist bent down respectfully, a perfect smile of etiquette on her face.

”I’d like a room where a previous guest has passed away!”

Furong returned the smile.

And the receptionist’s smile quickly froze, ”——Huh?”

”If you didn’t hear me clearly...”

”Furong! That’s not something they have control over!”

Bonnie interrupted Furong’s attempt to repeat herself, nodding at the receptionist, ”Please call your manager here; just say that Queen Bonnie and Furong have something to discuss with them, thank you.”

”Oh, okay!”

The receptionist hurriedly picked up a phone nearby to report to her superiors.

Bonnie then softly lectured Furong; as the youngest member of the Four Heavenly Kings, having been raised by her grandmother at God-sending Mountain since childhood, she was quite immature in many respects.

At least socially, she was infamously reckless, what they call a social terror, using trendy lingo.

Soon after.

A middle-aged man in a suit quickly approached; as he got closer, he began to apologize profusely:

”Sorry for the lack of a proper welcome! Sorry for the lack of a proper welcome! It truly illuminates our humble establishment that Queen Bonnie and Celestial King Furong could grace us with their presence~ Hohoho~ If there’s anything lacking in our service, I hope you both will forgive us...”

”Uncle! All that stuff doesn’t matter! Which room in your hotel had a guest pass away?” Furong stepped forward, her eyes shining brightly.

Unable to stop her in time, Bonnie facepalmed in silence.

The middle-aged man’s expression froze, awkwardly replying, ”You must be joking. How could anything like that ever happen here? Hahahaha...”

Furong pouted, just about to say something, but was stopped.

”Behave!” Bonnie restrained her, addressing the middle-aged man, ”She is a Spirit Medium capable of communicating with Ghost-type Pokémon. We are here to locate a missing Ghost-type Pokémon, and thus we hope for your assistance.”

As she finished speaking.

A small and peculiar figure suddenly appeared beside her, its entire body a mix of dark green and deep blue, with a wide, flat head, bright yellow eyes like car lights, its small hands bent, no feet, replaced by a long tail.

The way it hovered in the air was quite magical.

”Hiyya!”

”Eek!”

The middle-aged man was startled by the sharp cry.

Furong smiled, ”It comes from the Galar Region and is a Ghost-type Pokémon called Dreepy~”

”Hiyya~”

Dreepy flew to her side, gently nuzzling against her face.
