Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 599: Chapter 429: Ultra Close Dragon Love_2

Once you get familiar, you can definitely tell that the brother and sister have obvious differences in personality and habits, but before that,

Baimu took out a scarf he was using from his bag and cut it into two slightly smaller pieces with scissors, with different positions leaving different patterns.

”Here, these are gifts for you two.”

He wrapped the little scarves around the two Dreepy.

The two looked at the little scarves, showing expressions of surprise, then once again pounced on Baimu’s face like two big geckos, making two crisp slaps.

”...”

Do you have some sugar glider blood in you two?

——

Solving the ”missile”.

Baimu had to start handling the main body of the Ghost Fighter.

The room was definitely not suitable for ”interaction,” so he went outdoors, even leaving Li Mauville to find a sufficiently quiet, smoke-free, and hard-to-cover place——

an outdoor plaza.

After all, he needed to ensure there was a place to dodge when Dragapult attacked, and also ensure it could be spotted in time when invisible.

As for the escape problem.

With two Dreepy on his head, Baimu decided to use them to tempt Dragapult.

If this lonely Dragapult wasn’t going crazy, it would definitely abscond with the two Dreepy. If it couldn’t, it would naturally be under his control.

”I’ll leave it to you! It’s a few levels higher than you and faster! Don’t underestimate it!”

He said to the Hydreigon.

As a being with a keen sense of smell, it was just perfect to use it against Dragapult; invisibility only covered appearances, not scent.

”Sha saan!”

Hydreigon raised its head high, giving the two Dreepy on Baimu’s head a disdainful look, showing the newcomers its solid strength.

”Xi ya!”

”Xi ya~”

The Dragapult siblings enthusiastically cheered it on.

However, the two actually weren’t sure what they were here to do.

Until Dragapult was released.

Bam!

White light flashed.

Dragapult appeared, looked around, and then saw the calm Baimu and the two Dreepy on his head, immediately roaring,”Waddles——!!”

The screech sounded like the extreme revving of a lawnmower engine, a bit harsh on the throat.

But it was clear that it was very angry about being captured.

Baimu’s expression didn’t change.

Was the Steelix back then any less fierce than this one? Now, it’s still obedient. He was already quite experienced in dealing with newly caught Pokémon.

But the two Dreepy on his head had different expressions.

Sister Dragapult glared at Dragapult intensely, still viewing it as the culprit that took her brother away, forcing her to travel miles to find him.

Brother Dragapult looked very happy, even trying to fly over to greet Dragapult.

Initially, it was a bit hard for it to move because it was stuck under its sister. Fortunately, this guy, like the Hydreigon, was also a Husky.

No,

compared to it, when Hydreigon was a Deino it was like a domesticated Bernese Mountain Dog. This guy was more like a true wild Husky.

Brother Dragapult suddenly rolled over, transforming himself from the filling to the cookie, then leapt forward.

And just then, Hydreigon flicked its tail and twisted its rear, attempting to block in front of the Trainer and make the arrogant opponent gain some respect.

Who would have thought that a shadow would swoosh past from its side?

It quickly stretched out its left head to bite, but missed.

”Sha saan?!”

Hydreigon was a bit shocked, looking far ahead to find one of the Dreepy had rushed up to Dragapult. Judging by the color of the scarf, it seemed to be Brother Dragapult.

What’s happening?

It turned to look at Baimu, but the latter was also raising his eyebrows, looking puzzled.

Only Sister Dragapult had a face that looked like she was about to explode with anger.

”Xi ya!”

”Looks like it might be voluntary.”

Baimu rubbed his chin, realizing that the bond between Dragapult and Dreepy was indeed a two-way journey. The former needed the latter to feel at ease, while the latter needed the former to satisfy its thrill for ”supersonic” speed.

The Illustrated Guide mentions that Dreepy will follow the fastest Dragapult, precisely due to their habits.

Meanwhile,

The Dragapult, who was ready to launch an attack, paused. Watching Brother Dragapult happily flying back and forth in front of it, it couldn’t help but show a look of suspicion.

”Waddles?”

”Heeya~”

Brother Dragapult hooked its claws around Dragapult’s claw, swaying happily from side to side. It was naturally delighted to be able to stay with him.

Earlier, it was worried about not being able to continue burrowing into the ”launch bay.”

It wagged its tail, reversing into one of the four launch ports protruding from Dragapult’s head.

”Heeya~”

Brother Dragapult looked completely relaxed, even though others’ heads were nice, this launch port was more suitable for it.

Dragapult slightly raised its head and looked at Baimu not far away, completely surprised how easily the other party returned Dreepy to it.

Looks like there are still good people among humans!

It nodded slightly and flew away, apparently planning to leave this place.

”Heeya!”

Sister Dragapult, reaching her limit, screeched, about to rush over and retrieve her brother.

Baimu stopped the small and furious Pokémon, ”Wait, your brother won’t run away. Besides, if we don’t beat and convince this guy head-on, communication will be tough. Leave it to me.”

”Heeya...”

Sister Dragapult took a deep breath. Although it still couldn’t fully understand what Baimu was saying, being stopped like this reminded it of what happened the night before, trusting him naturally.

So they stood in place, watching as Dragapult carried a little Dreepy away and quickly returned.

Because Brother Dragapult didn’t understand what it intended to do, it left the launch port, indicating for it to return to the front of Hydreigon.

”Heeya!”

There’s a fight going on!

”Waddles?”

Dragapult was even more confused by Brother Dragapult’s intention, persuading it to leave with it.

Humans are nothing good!

Only then did Brother Dragapult realize Dragapult intended to escape, and it clamped onto the edge of its triangular head, forcefully dragging it toward Baimu.

It didn’t want to run! Sister was there, it could enjoy such delicious food and recognize a new big brother—meaning Hydreigon.

What fool would run away!

And even if it had to run, wouldn’t it take its sister along?

Dragapult, sensing Brother Dragapult’s thoughts, had slits of eyes filled with troubled color, looking at Baimu with resentment.

If it weren’t for his presence, how could it not keep even a single Dreepy secure?

No way!

Today, it must give this guy a good beating!

Dragapult, baring its sharp teeth, finally looked at the fierce Hydreigon, eyes locking as sparks seemed to fly.

Brother Dragapult, seeing the battle about to break out, excitedly burrowed into the launch port.

”Heeya!”

It urged Dragapult to attack quickly.

Not far away.

Baimu was calming the impatient Hydreigon, ”Don’t mind such low-level taunts, use your real strength to show it who’s boss! Tell it that even two-on-one it will lose!”

”Shasa!”

Hydreigon responded in a low tone, not really angry but indeed wanting to teach Dragapult a lesson, to show what it means to be a near-ace strength within the team.

Two-on-one?

You think I have no ”assistance”!?

Hydreigon suddenly took a deep breath, lungs filling with air, making its chest rise like a balloon.

But in the next moment.

Boom!!

Three beams of different colors roared out of its mouths, rushing towards Dragapult, and the vast Dragon Attribute Energy seemed intent on sweeping everything away.

Seeing this, Dragapult directly took Dreepy and went invisible, flickering away.

The battle between the two Dragon-type Pokémon had clearly begun!

Speaking of which.

Under the rules set by the Pokémon Alliance, although Dragapult can take two Dreepy to battle, it’s limited to using [Dragon Arrow].

Apart from that, any action by the two Dreepys would constitute a violation.

This is a special rule specially established for Dragapult, with many similar ones, like building a concrete pillar shouldn’t have too much rebar inside, Marowak’s bone club can only be a bone and not a metal rod, etc.

Whenever there’s a chance to exploit external forces, the Pokémon Alliance sets special rules for them.
