Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 562: Chapter 413: Hall Master’s Trump Card (Part 2)

Tie Xuan hurriedly ordered, ”Defend!”

The Manectric, which had rolled over and gotten up from the ground, let out a low growl, and a light blue shield composed of countless hexagons appeared in front of it, causing the descending Mega Aggron to crash into the shield with a thundering sound!

Boom!

The shield trembled, then shattered like glass into a shower of light particles, allowing the Mega Aggron to pass through the light waves and crash into the Manectric behind it.

Bang!

A heavy thud.

But to Baimu’s surprise, the Manectric lowered its body, gritting its sharp teeth and bracing its head to firmly withstand the ground attribute energy shock of the Mega Aggron.

”Grr!!”

”Hahaha! My Manectric won’t go down that easily!”

Tie Xuan glanced at Baimu and the Mega Aggron’s identical expressions of astonishment, and couldn’t help but laugh wildly and shout, ”Jump over it! Use Thunder!”

”Grr!”

The Manectric suddenly leaped up, its four paws stepping on the horn of the Mega Aggron’s head, using it as a springboard to successfully jump out. Its incredibly nimble movements were such that even though the latter’s two claws reached out and its giant tail extended upwards, they couldn’t grasp it.

As the Mega Aggron turned around, the Manectric behind it had already lowered its body and roared.

”Roar!!”

Rumble!

Blazing thunder erupted from the Manectric’s tail like a lightning rod, tearing through the air as it shot into the sky, then twisted and fell towards the Mega Aggron in front of it, continuously striking with a relentless force!

Baimu’s eyes sharpened, ”Metal Explosion!”

”Grr!”

The surface of the Mega Aggron shone with a patchy metallic luster. Facing the incoming thunder, it stood its ground, enduring the pain of the thunder’s paralyzing erosion. With its mouth slightly open, a blazing white energy bullet quickly formed, seemingly like a black hole absorbing the flashing thunder from its surface completely.

The energy bullet grew larger and larger during this time.

In the next moment.

Boom!

The energy bullet transformed into a thick blazing white energy beam, with electricity constantly leaping from the beam, proving that the main source of energy was indeed the Manectric’s Thunder!

”Quick, dodge it!”

As Tie Xuan started to speak, the Manectric had already attempted to evade, but the Mega Aggron took a step back with its right foot, steadying its stance and twisting its steel-toothed mouth, making the blazing white beam sweep instead of shooting straight, hitting Manectric just as it tried to dodge to the side!

Boom!!

The overwhelming dust rose up with the fiery explosion reaching the sky, and a series of elongated explosions covered all the areas swept by the blazing white beam, showing just how powerful this move was.

The Manectric howled as it flew backwards, breaking through the smoke and slamming heavily against the wall at the edge of the arena.

”Hold on!”

Yet despite this, it still didn’t fall. All four paws tremblingly supported its body, and once it managed to calm itself down, it glared intensely at the Mega Aggron, ”Grr!”

”Hiss! It’s really tough...”

Baimu couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration; this Manectric’s impressive endurance had already been showcased in its battle against Ash Ketchum’s Torkoal, and now it seemed to have reached another level.

”Sharp Stone Attack!”

”Grr!”

The Mega Aggron roared furiously while clenching its fists, with countless shattered sharp stones rotating around its body and forming three rings of rock, then screamed as they shot towards the Manectric, with the power and coverage of the expanding rock barrage being truly overwhelming.

Unexpectedly, Tie Xuan suddenly shouted, ”Roar!”

”Grr——!!”

The Manectric, enveloped in a bright red aura, roared loudly, sending out a visible, translucent sound wave that crushed most of the flying sharp stones, then continued to spread towards the Mega Aggron, creating a heavy pressure that made its body tremble slightly.

”Grr...”

The Mega Aggron emitted a low growl as it resisted some force, its body involuntarily lifting off the ground and turning into a red light that flew into the Pokeball at Baimu’s waist.

The neighboring Pokeball opened, and a white light flew into the arena.

”Pory!”

The Porygon entered the fray with a confused expression, its body illuminated by an orange-red aura that indicated an increase in its abilities.

Tie Xuan looked at the slightly raising Baimu on the other side and laughed heartily, ”What do you think! Shocked, right! Here’s a great opportunity! Manectric, use Charge!”

”Grr!”

The Manectric’s body was flickering with electricity, and its momentum was rising at an astonishing speed.

”Magic Space!”

Baimu’s command immediately followed. The Porygon, who had regained its senses, had its eyes light up with a brilliant blue glow, and waves of deep blue and light blue emanated from the edge of the arena, gradually forming a rectangular magical space.

He was indeed a bit surprised.

But the surprise was about how the Manectric’s Roar managed to shatter the Mega Aggron’s Sharp Stone Attack. Even though it wasn’t its own type move, it shouldn’t have been that easily overwhelmed.

Moreover, was that really Roar? Anyone unfamiliar might think it was a high-pitched sound!

Of course, it’s normal for the transformation techniques in animation to differ from the game performances. He himself happily used Body Freeze Technique as a strong control skill; why should there be an issue with someone using Roar to shatter a stone rain?

After all, it’s easy to think of similar scenarios that have appeared in the animation before, such as when Hall Master Sinnoh Dong Gua had Steelix use Screech to shatter the Flame Wheel of Ash Ketchum’s Chimchar, causing it to crash into a rock and take damage.

”Pory!”

The Porygon let out a soft cry as it successfully established the Magic Space. The activation speed of this move is generally slow, and last time it was only successful by taking advantage of the Electrode’s inability to attack directly, forcing it to change forms by bouncing back and smashing rocks.

This time, it used the surplus time from Manectric’s Charge.

However, by using Charge, its own Special Defense increased, which isn’t great for the Porygon relying on Special Attack.

Tie Xuan keenly noticed the gap after the Porygon finished using Magic Space, during which it couldn’t quickly use another move, and he shouted, ”Thunder!”

”Grr!”

The Manectric let out a loud howl!

Boom!!

After charging, the thunder was far more impressive and massive than before, forming a fanged Dracozolt in mid-air, twisting and turning before rushing towards the Porygon.

Rumble——

The air continuously emitted deafening explosions.

Even though it momentarily fell behind during the battle with the Mega Aggron, as the ace Pokémon of the Gym Leader, it now faced the overwhelmingly dominant Porygon in all aspects, and its high level, rich battle experience, and fast move execution speed immediately became evident!

”Evade! Texture 2!”

Baimu’s command was drowned by the roaring thunder, but even if the Porygon couldn’t hear it, it knew it had to avoid Dracozolt’s onslaught, attempting to dodge early.

The electric techniques used by Pokémon are different from natural thunderstorms, at least not as fast.

Otherwise, no matter how the Porygon dodged, it wouldn’t be able to evade, but this time, using the speed it inherited from Manectric, it successfully avoided the first wave of Thunder.

That’s right.

The first wave.

When the Dracozolt hit the ground, it exploded like a goddess scattering flowers, suddenly transforming into countless bright yellow lightning snakes shooting in all directions. At the same time, the constantly shaking ground was bombarded with countless fragments, like raindrops, crashing towards the swiftly dodging Porygon.

”Pory——”

Dodging was impossible, and it got hit by many fragments, causing it significant pain. But before the lightning snakes could reach it, it managed to use Texture 2 to change the blue parts of its body to a brown color.

Acquiring the Ground Attribute allowed it to successfully become immune to the electrical invasion.

”Pory!”

The Porygon halted its movements. Though slightly fatigued, its eyes now reflected an extremely sharp color.

This was its first Gym Battle, it couldn’t just fall here! At least it had to take down one foe!

Tie Xuan couldn’t help but show a regretful expression.

He had intended to take down Baimu’s Porygon in one go, teaching it about the inherent great resilience of Pokémon. Who could have expected the Porygon to itself demonstrate incredibly tenacious will.

”Grr...”

The Manectric lowered its head to gasp for breath. It, too, was not inexhaustible in stamina, just comparatively resilient.
