Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 450: Chapter 321: Just the Right Amount of Additional Amplification at the Foot of the Snow Mountain_3

It’s too dangerous, even he is panicking, and absolutely mustn’t let Li Wenxi, this survivor with support abilities, take the risk.

Xu Xin crouched in front of the beasts and explained the situation to them.

Mimi and Afu looked somewhat resistant, but did not completely refuse.

Both beasts had been inside the bracelet, so they knew the environment within was a bit eerie and terrifying, but unlike Lou Fei’Er, they didn’t have terrifying childhood shadows, so although they disliked it, they weren’t afraid to that extent.

Silver King had never been inside, so he didn’t mind much.

In the end, the beasts all agreed and were taken into the bracelet by Xu Xin.

Really don’t know when they will meet Chang Yin again, to have him provide some after-sales service, to improve the environment inside the bracelet, making it so difficult to bring his contract creatures.

He temporarily didn’t choose today’s history boost, but planned to check out the snow peak first before deciding which one to select. His watch could directly select the boost, very convenient. Options included the hearing boost and the jumping boost. The former could accurately detect the movements around, while the latter ensured no injuries from falling from heights.

Among the explorers, a few people there also planned to go explore the snow peak, but only Qi Xuefei said, ”You go ahead; I won’t go. I’ll be your support.”

A very wise choice.

”Why don’t you stay as well?” Xu Xin was a bit worried about Li Wenxi, ”Sister Xuefei didn’t go, and you don’t have much combat ability, your physical abilities are also average, stay in the treehouse.”

”No! I want to go with you!” Li Wenxi shook her head vigorously. ”I just don’t have abilities in this area, but my physique is very good! I used to work out a lot! And Ji Chaoyang said that if we don’t go, we might miss something, so I want to go with you!”

... Her workouts on Earth really don’t count for much, might not even match a single enhancement here.

Forget it, let’s go have a look first, let Li Wenxi check if there’s any special metal material inside the snow mountain.

After getting ready, Ji Chaoyang wasn’t over yet, so the two of them set off directly towards the snow peak.

Even though Li Wenxi had her own powered skateboard, she insisted on not using it and tightly hugged Xu Xin, sliding with him, claiming to save electricity and keep her skateboard as a backup.

Well, the reasoning is there, but with a 12-hour battery life on the powered skateboard and the snow peak only one kilometer from the treehouse, it’s hard to imagine running out...

Fortunately, the load capacity of the powered skateboard was good, even with two people, it didn’t sink into the snow and the speed didn’t decrease much, it actually stabilized a lot.

The closer they got to the mountain peak, the more shocked their expressions became.

This path, Xu Xin had traveled many, many times, because it was the only way to the Hilly Resource Zone, so he was very familiar with it. To suddenly see such a huge object on a familiar road was truly shocking to him.

After getting closer, stopping about a hundred meters from the giant stone pillar peak, Xu Xin finally felt the enormity of this stone pillar peak.

The diameter of this stone pillar was nearly two hundred meters!

From afar, this stone pillar peak looked like a slender stone pillar, but compared to its height, its thickness was negligible. It was startling to see how stout it was up close!

The rock walls of the stone pillar peak were uneven, if not for the heavy snow, professional climbers could probably manage climbing without much trouble, but after the snowfall, every concave hole was filled with snow, making one feel uneasy.

If someone really tried to climb, wouldn’t their hands slip? Wouldn’t there be an avalanche?

”So big...” Li Wenxi also slowly looked up, if it weren’t for Xu Xin holding her, she could have fallen backward with her current posture, ”So high! Are we really going to climb it?”

”If anyone is climbing, it’s me.” Xu Xin corrected her head position, ”You can’t do such a dangerous thing.”

”Huh?” Li Wenxi turned her head to look at him, slightly displeased, ”I can be strong too, you know! I want to climb with you! I even bought grappling hooks!”

As she spoke, she took out a pair of grappling hooks from her backpack, and with a snap, fastened them to her wrist, ”This thing is for climbing this snow peak, right?”

Xu Xin lowered Li Wenxi’s raised wrist, ”Let’s take a look around first.”

”Oh, okay.”
