Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 430: Chapter 314: Regional Ranking, the Powerful District 188!_2

Wang Lei: ”No problem, but I’ve used up all my purple-grade beast hides. If you want equipment, give me a purple-grade beast hide and I’ll make it for you.”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Same here.”

Qin Yunlong: ”Our special equipment requires purple-grade materials from water. We can’t obtain them this time, so we can’t help you.”

Xu Xin happened to have two purple-grade beast hides. He immediately sent them to Wang Lei and Zhao Xiaochuan respectively.

He wasn’t worried about saving the purple-grade beast hides since he had more than three hundred mutated creature corpses on hand. Even if they were low-level mutated creatures, with such a quantity, he was confident he’d get something good out of it.

Soon, the two of them traded the finished products back to him.

[Invisibility Cloak (Purple): A cloak that can conceal one’s presence. Once worn, the wearer becomes like a stone on the roadside and is ignored by enemies if they remain still. Even if touched, it remains unnoticed!]

[Strength Belt (Purple): A belt that assists in controlling power, enhancing the user’s ability to control their strength, allowing them to exert extreme force without self-destruction!]

Xu Xin immediately put on the two pieces of equipment.

These two items are not part of a four-piece set, so they do not affect the set’s effects.

”Hmm?” Keke raised their little head from the sofa after Xu Xin put on the Invisibility Cloak, looking at Xu Xin with big eyes full of confusion, ”Hmm...?”

Xu Xin remained still to observe the cloak’s effect.

Keke jumped off the sofa, ran to Xu Xin’s feet, looked up at him, tilted their little head, and pushed him with a tiny paw.

Then the little one ran around inside the treehouse, looking around before finally plopping down on the floor, leaning at Xu Xin’s feet.

”Hmm...?”

Xu Xin moved and picked up Keke from the ground.

”Hmm!?” Keke was startled, turning to look at Xu Xin in surprise.

It seemed the effect was indeed excellent.

He took off the cloak and put it into his backpack.

He decided not to wear it inside the treehouse to avoid startling Keke.

However, Keke was especially sensitive. The others like Silver King Mimi didn’t pay attention when Xu Xin disappeared and reappeared. Mimi just glanced at him, assuming they hadn’t noticed him before.

Is this what it means to eliminate presence?

Xu Xin put on the belt, but there wasn’t any significant change.

It made sense, since his purple-grade steel armor’s combat talent provided similar perfect body control.

And his strength hadn’t reached the exaggerated level of Wang Lei, as his combat talent was already sufficient, so the belt didn’t add much for him.

However...

This could be quite useful for Ma Hongwei.

His strength was currently immense. Even without entering burst mode, he was a top-level power-type fighter, and in burst mode, every step could shake the ground.

But it seemed his poor control over his strength made his overall speed quite slow, so this belt could be valuable for him.

When he wakes up, give him the belt as compensation. After all, losing everything in the treehouse would be distressing for anyone for a long time...

Having done all this, Xu Xin decided to talk to the explorers about Lou Fei’Er, and include Ma Hongwei as well. Having already verified the contract’s strength with Lou Fei’Er, it should be the same for Ma Hongwei.

He said to the explorers: ”I want to add someone to our explorers’ group. What do you think?”

Wang Lei: ”Add someone? Got it, is it the guy who made us the treehouse crossbows? He’s contracted by Brother Xin, so he’ll completely listen to you, right? Then it shouldn’t be a problem to add him.”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Whoa, then hurry up and add him! If it weren’t for his crossbows, I might not have lasted until Sister Gui Xin arrived!”

Li Wenxi: ”Xu Xin, are you talking about Fei’Er? Are you going to add Fei’Er? That’s great!”

Ji Chaoyang: ”Adding them all would be better, otherwise it’s a hassle to use you as the messenger every time for decisions among the three parties.”

What Ji Chaoyang said was also what Xu Xin was thinking.

Lou Fei’Er was manageable as she was mainly accountable to him, but Ma Hongwei was different. His heavy crossbows were used by people everywhere, and having to relay decisions through Xu Xin each time was overly cumbersome.

Of course, Lou Fei’Er would also be added; he had promised her.

Xu Xin also informed others about Lou Fei’Er’s abilities and explained their relationship with the newly emerged mutated humans.

”These pills are so strong! Resurrection? Enhanced abilities?” Qin Yunlong was surprised, ”Can I take one?”

”The side effects aren’t small either, I’m observing them, so we shouldn’t take them for now.” Xu Xin explained.

The explorers agreed to add the two into the group chat.

Ma Hongwei was still unconscious, so Xu Xin added Lou Fei’Er first.

Lou Fei’Er confirmed immediately and joined the group chat.

Wang Lei: ”Welcome, welcome!”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Welcome, new girl!”

Li Wenxi: ”Welcome Fei’Er to our organization!”

Lou Fei’Er: ”Um... hello everyone!”

Wen Guixin: ”There’s another girl on that side, while I’m still the only one here, it’s bittersweet...”

Seeing Lou Fei’Er integrating well with others, Xu Xin didn’t continue to monitor the group chat and instead sent Lou Fei’Er a private message: ”Does this group chat affect communication on your side?”
