Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 435: Chapter 316 Li Wenxi Plays with Fire Snowboard_2

The energy of these two batteries has basically always been full. Inside the treehouse, only the electric water heater and the electric stove consume more electricity; the lights consume very little. A few kilowatt-hours a day are usually enough. Moreover, these two batteries are always connected to the generator to replenish energy at any time.

Xu Xin held the power snowboard, standing in front of the battery, feeling a bit puzzled. He could only try placing the snowboard on the battery.

Suddenly, two lines of small text lit up on the surface of the powered snowboard.

[Charging]

[Remaining battery life: 1 hour 1 minute.]

Yo, this is a wireless charging snowboard.

The product description stated that the snowboard comes with one hour of power after purchase, so this battery life is correct.

Hmm, I’ll try this snowboard later.

He then went to the crafting room and made the [Snow Fox Scarf (Blue)].

A fluffy, large white scarf, very soft to touch, much softer than Keke’s tail.

A scarf that can withstand temperatures as low as minus fifty degrees!

He immediately put it on to try.

...Hmm, so warm, even the whole body heated up, this warmth effect is indeed a lot better.

This item, their [Explorers] shouldn’t be short of, Zhao Xiaochuan and others had said before that they cut quite a few blue-level fox tails from heaps of mutated creatures’ corpses.

The lower-level mutated creature corpses in his possession, more than three hundred of them, haven’t been disassembled yet.

Now, the equipment for going out is complete, and he’ll test the snowboard’s power soon.

Before that, he browsed through the clothing in the point mall.

The clothing items are numerous, but Xu Xin found that all of them seem to be spring-summer styles, very thin, not suitable for wearing outside in such subzero temperatures, offering no defense. They seem suitable only for wearing inside the treehouse.

Moreover, each piece is not cheap; a set of clothes is at least a hundred points.

This reminded Xu Xin of the strange items available when the point mall first opened, like [Hair-Growing Comb], [Natural Whitening Mask], [Miraculous Papaya], and such.

Those were mostly flashy items that could definitely earn big money in the real world, but here they did nothing for survival, rather wasting points.

This point mall seems to always release some quirky items to trick survivors into spending points outside of survival.

Speaking of quirky items, Xu Xin suddenly remembered the [Permanent Divine Oil] in the point mall, priced at 300 points, which he could buy for just 210 points.

This price used to be very expensive. Considering a piece of what was then extremely valuable blue-level soil, it cost only 500 points.

But for him now, this price is nothing.

”Emmmm...”

Looking at the mythical item still hanging on the mall page, Xu Xin’s eyelid twitched, and he clicked to purchase.

These quirky items tend to be quite useful sometimes.

Though he thinks he doesn’t need it...who would refuse to become stronger?

Then, he went to the planting room.

At this moment, some of the blue-level fruits in the planting room had already matured.

He placed the Giant Flower Pot (Purple) in the center of the treehouse, replacing the blue apple tree, then added a piece of blue soil into it and sprinkled purple-grade fertilizer.

Soon, this soil turned a pure purple color under his gaze, emitting the same hue as the treehouse.

Very good!

Land of Harvest (Purple!)

But, what should be planted?

What are the effects of purple-grade plants?

Xu Xin stroked his chin and eventually decided to plant red berries.

Red berries normally mature in five days, but with the enhancement of the Giant Flower Pot (Purple) and the planting room, now they only take two days to mature!

In two days, he can find out the effects of purple-grade fruits! As for orange and apple trees, they take ten days to grow, even with the enhancement it’s four days, too slow.

It’s better to first determine the effect of purple-grade fruits. Moreover, he is very curious about the abilities of purple-grade red berries!

Not similar to vision potion, right?

Shouldn’t be.

After finishing these, Xu Xin harvested a batch of blue-grade fruits, letting the matured blue-grade fruit trees continue to bear fruits.

Returning to the energy storage room, the powered snowboard was already charged to 1 hour 57 minutes.

So fast!

From this perspective, a depleted snowboard charges to full in just two hours!

Two hours of charging, twelve hours of battery life!

Nice.

He took the snowboard and left the treehouse, ready to test the snowboard’s skill.

”Huh? It’s snowing again?”

Once outside, Xu Xin instantly felt numerous icy snowflakes drifting onto his face.

Under the moonlight, sparse snowflakes began to fall again.

It snows every night.

Looks like tomorrow these just-cleared areas will be covered with a thick snow layer again.

As for other areas already approaching a meter snow layer, it seems like it’ll continue to thicken...

In such conditions, the mobility of the Silver King is almost completely deprived. With its enormous body and overweight, it can’t move on such soft snow layer at all.

For fast movement, only the snowboard can be used for gliding.
