Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 436: Chapter 316: Li Wenxi Plays with Fire Snowboarding_3

Wait a minute...

He remembered when he took Lou Fei’Er and jumped into the snow layers to find mutant humans, and a snow leopard surrounded them.

Its enormous body walked on the one-meter-thick snow surface without any tendency to sink, walking like on solid ground.

... Can all these snow creatures move on the snow surface?

Snow foxes should be able to as well.

Snow foxes are small in size and weight, naturally they wouldn’t sink into the snow.

Don’t be fooled by these seemingly soft white layers, under the nighttime temperatures of negative twenty to thirty degrees, the accumulated snow will become as solid as ice shards. Although it can’t support human weight, for the size of a snow fox, moving on the snow surface shouldn’t be a problem.

Generally, foxes walk on the snow to forage in winter, then leap up and dive headfirst into the snow to find prey.

Just not sure if they can still successfully hunt with such thick snow layers.

However, since snow leopards and snow foxes can move on this snowy terrain...

What about snow wolves?

Silver King can’t, but what about Axue whom he gave to Lou Fei’Er?

Let’s try the skateboard first, and later call Lou Fei’Er down to give it a shot.

He is now at the edge of the treehouse, the temperature around maintained above zero because of it, and the small pond he dug beside the treehouse hasn’t frozen, while bursts of white steam occasionally rise from the cave of his beloved.

It looks quite warm below.

Xu Xin wrapped a snow fox scarf around himself, put on goggles, and walked forward.

At this time in the forest, most creatures have returned, though there are some small animals.

Yet, these animals are generally too lazy to move, either they starve without food or have entered hibernation, the ones that can move are few, and won’t pose any threat to him.

The snow layers a few hundred meters around have been completely damaged by mutant creatures emerging from the snow. Xu Xin walked four or five hundred meters outwards before encountering undamaged snow layers.

”... How do I get on this?” Xu Xin tried stepping onto the skateboard under the snow layers.

The moment he stepped onto it, he immediately grasped the technique for using the electric skateboard, the rear foot presses the backboard, and the entire skateboard emitted a faint electric buzz.

Then, the front end of the board first lifted, followed by a jump, clearing the one-meter-high snow layer, and with a ”pop”, landing on the snow surface.

”Whoa!” Xu Xin’s face showed a curious expression, ”Interesting.”

He pressed the skateboard’s rear side again, followed by another ”buzz” from the motor, and the skateboard suddenly darted forward along the snow surface!

”Whoa! Whoa!” The skateboard was very fast, reaching speeds of thirty to forty kilometers per hour, and with the dense trees in the forest, Xu Xin was maneuvering back and forth, charging forward, with excitement slowly showing on his face, ”Haha, awesome!”

Where the skateboard glided across, it left shallow marks on the snow surface, but it wouldn’t affect the next slide.

Xu Xin whizzed through the forest on the skateboard, the cold wind at negative twenty to thirty degrees brushing past, roaring in his ears.

But relying on the snow fox scarf and goggles, he was unimpeded.

Under the moonlight, Xu Xin swerved back and forth on the snow surface, experiencing speed and thrill. He narrowly avoided trees several times, and narrowly dodged others.

He finally understood Silver King’s feeling of traversing the forest.

Finally, Xu Xin slid off the snow surface, exhaling deeply.

Awesome!

Really awesome!

Although the speed doesn’t match Silver King’s, it’s not slow either!

Worthy of being an electric snowboard!

...

On the other side, Li Wenxi lay by the window of her treehouse, peering outside.

”Hmm, probably not coming anymore...”

She patted her chest, showing a relaxed expression, slightly sighed with relief, yet felt a bit disappointed.

”Hmph, little wimp...”
