Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 413: Chapter 306: Survivors or Predators?_2

What the hell?!

His guess just now was confirmed? That mutant human came to the southeast for...

Picking up scraps from Ma Hongwei here?

No, this is not junk, after all, there are purple-grade scales in there!

This mutant human controlled the army of mutant creatures to attack from the northwest while secretly coming to the southeast and sweeping away all the resources here!

As for why they have to steal their stuff...

Xu Xin took out an axe from his backpack, the axe he had snatched from the mutant human’s hand.

[Special Iron Axe (Blue): Originally made by a survivor, this iron axe was enhanced by mysterious powers to deal ten times the felling damage to treehouses, allowing for faster felling of treehouses!]

This axe explains a lot.

These mutant humans were originally going to chop down treehouses and loot the stuff inside!

The introduction of this iron axe even says so, [originally made by a survivor]. This axe was probably also snatched from the survivors and then enhanced by mysterious powers!

These people, controlling mutant creatures, are specialized in burning, killing, and looting from survivors!

They are not on the same side as the survivors. Hence, let’s call them [Plunderers].

At Li Wenxi’s side, he also saw the mutant humans, namely the Plunderers.

This beast horde of mutant creatures seemed to be orchestrated by these Plunderers to seize the resources accumulated over this period.

And the survivors are like a group of pigs fattened up, ready for slaughter today!

Except, they were fattened too much so that Xu Xin and the others are now stronger than these Plunderers controlling the mutant creatures.

The above is Xu Xin’s own speculation.

He squinted at the looted ruins.

This guy manipulating the beast horde, when seeing it couldn’t cause any substantial damage to Xu Xin’s treehouse, conveniently shifted targets when the giant anaconda emerged from the lake and destroyed Ma Hongwei’s treehouse.

It commanded the beast horde to launch a fierce attack from the northwest, attempting to break through Xu Xin’s treehouse while diverting Xu Xin’s full attention to the northwest.

Meanwhile, it secretly came to the southeast and stole everything from Ma Hongwei’s treehouse, as well as those purple-grade scales knocked off by the explosion!

However, it probably did not expect Xu Xin’s treehouse to be so powerful that it kept all five intermediate mutant creatures from its beast horde!

The facts should be like this, more or less accurate.

As for how to verify it, it depends on what information he can get from this mutant human on the wristband.

... This was quite a setup!

But the loss for the other party was not insignificant either.

Xu Xin touched his backpack, which still contained five real bodies of intermediate mutant creatures, with a high chance of extracting purple-grade materials from them.

Well, it’s not a loss overall.

On the map, there were no significant red dots around, most were of rabbit or wild cat strength, just ordinary wild beasts.

Xu Xin stopped dwelling on this matter and turned towards the treehouse.

First things first, take a shower. This body of dirty blood is sticky and smelly, really unpleasant.

Arriving at the foot of the treehouse, Mimi and Silver King had already come out of the Red Mist cabin and were lying at the door. Seeing Xu Xin back, they both stood up.

Xu Xin took them upstairs and also released the snow wolf, whose injuries hadn’t fully healed yet, and let them get acquainted with each other.

Lou Fei’Er moved a chair to the control panel, sitting there observing the surroundings. She had already noticed Xu Xin came back and stood up directly to ask, ”Has it ended at Wenxi’s place?”

”Hmm.” Xu Xin nodded and glanced at the time.

It’s already noon, time for lunch.

So he said to Lou Fei’Er, ”Let’s make lunch; Ji Chaoyang and the others will come soon. Make more, and I’ll talk to them about bringing you into the Explorers.”

Lou Fei’Er’s performance was quite good this time, and Xu Xin was ready to fulfill his promise.

Lou Fei’Er’s eyes widened and she nodded vigorously: ”Okay, I understand, I’ll go make a sumptuous feast right now!”

With that, she jogged to the kitchen, and Xu Xin could tell she was in a very good mood.

Keke was lying on the sofa, snoring slightly, while Afu, who had exhausted his strength earlier, was now lying by the window, looking a bit sickly.

Silver King Mimi was circling the snow wolf, which as a low-level mutant creature was surrounded by two intermediate mutant creatures, it could only crouch on the ground shivering.

Xu Xin first went to the bathroom to wash off the bloodstains on his body and the steel armor, then changed into a leather armor suit and walked out.

No wonder Li Wenxi liked wearing leather armor suits at home; it was indeed comfortable. Even though the purple-grade steel armor was already very light and thin, this soft leather armor suit was still much more comfortable than hard steel armor.

A fragrance wafted from the kitchen and Xu Xin couldn’t help but swallow a mouthful of saliva.

Having a cook serving is much more comfortable than cooking by oneself.

Soon, Li Wenxi, Ji Chaoyang, and Qi Xuefei came over. Xu Xin brought them all up to the treehouse.

The three of them looked at the full table of dishes and were all stunned.

”Have a seat, it’s made by Lou Fei’Er.”

”So sumptuous?” Ji Chaoyang raised an eyebrow, ”Since coming to this world, it’s the first time I’m eating such a sumptuous meal. You really know how to enjoy yourself.”
