Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 441: Chapter 318: World Trading Platform World Market_3

”Tears in my eyes, looking at the stone tool in my hand, then at the iron tools that the big shots in Area 188 have started mass-producing and selling to the world. I feel like a caveman!”

”Heavens, this price is so reasonable! It’s much cheaper than the iron tools sold on our region’s trading platform! As expected, Area 188 is Area 188!”

”Hahaha, damn, this price is still cheap. I really want to show you the prices of iron tools put up for sale simultaneously in Area 188; it’s basically a giveaway price, hahaha!”

”People from Area 188, stop flaunting your superiority! I will become a person of Area 188 in the future! I’ll become someone living within Xu Xin or Ji Chaoyang’s main treehouse area, stepping on your head and making you call me boss!”

”Then come on, if you come to Area 188, you’ll enjoy the benefit of two units of green-level resources for one iron tool~”

”What?”

”Holy crap!”

”This is basically a giveaway...”

”Mom, why am I not in Area 188!”

These were just snippets of the chatter among thousands of people in the regional channel, and Xu Xin did not stop the people of Area 188 from boasting to the outside world. They just wanted to create a contrast, making people from other areas feel that Area 188 is very strong and worth relying on.

And that’s indeed the case.

However, one person caught Xu Xin’s attention, the one who said that the iron tools on their region’s trading platform were super expensive.

Although it flashed by quickly, Xu Xin saw that this person was from Jungle Area 45.

Xu Xin searched on the leaderboard, Jungle Area 45, ranked 13th among all regions, with 1,230 people remaining, and only 9,852 points, not even reaching ten thousand.

Since someone could make iron tools, that means there was at least one person in this area who found a golden treasure chest.

Areas ranked higher than them shouldn’t be any worse. Looking at it this way, at least a dozen regions have people who found golden treasure chests and can manufacture metal weapons.

This suggests that other regions also found iron mines, but compared to Li Wenxi, their mining efficiency is much lower, which is why both he and Ji Chaoyang could set high prices in other areas, and people still think they’re reasonable.

This strengthened his resolve not to sell raw materials.

If technology can’t be monopolized, then monopolize raw materials and low costs.

”Hahaha, I already bought it! Green-level iron weapon, I’ve heard that it’s basically of the same quality as a blue-level stone tool! I’m equivalent to someone with a blue-level weapon now!”

”Huh? Equivalent to blue-level quality? Damn, then this price is too reasonable! I... I damn it? Sold out? Really? Your hands are too fast!”

”Xu Xin, Ji Chaoyang, isn’t your pricing a bit disruptive to the market?”

The last one, Xu Xin saw, was from Jungle Area 1, but over here, he was busy accepting a massive pile of basic materials, too busy to care.

Moreover, now that the world trading platform is open, who cares about the market prices in your region.

To his surprise, the materials he received included less wood and stone, but more things like iron ore and medicinal herbs.

After thinking it over, he understood.

The people buying his green-level weapons were mostly ordinary people.

Now that winter is coming, most people’s stones were exhausted while building fireplaces.

And they dared not trade wood because they still didn’t know how long this harsh winter would last.

They don’t have Xu Xin’s coal mine, relying entirely on wood to burn in the fireplace, and with the extreme cold outside, wood chopping became more difficult, making wood now a scarce energy source.

So, the first batch of people who bought weapons without hesitation exchanged all their unused items, such as iron ore and medicinal herbs, for a weapon of blue-level stone tool quality, enhancing their survival ability.

Don’t look down on blue-level stone tools, which Xu Xin ditched long ago; he once used a blue-level stone tool to kill intermediate mutant creatures! So, the strength of blue-level stone tools is not a problem.

What surprised Xu Xin the most was that he actually saw copper ore among these resources!

”What?” His eyelid twitched directly.

Did someone else find copper ore?

He immediately searched the trading information for the transaction involving copper ore, and quickly found it.

It was an anonymous person.

Since he set a price of fifty green-level resources for a weapon, this person used twenty-three stones (green) and twenty-seven copper ores (green) to buy a long iron spear he made!

Judging by the amount, they definitely ran out of stones, and used copper ore to make up the rest!

Xu Xin immediately attempted to send them a private message.

[Sorry, the private messaging feature with survivors from other regions has not yet been enabled.]

Damn it...

Xu Xin took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

Who on earth is this person?

In his impression, copper ore is only available 40 meters underwater.

Could this person also dive 40 meters deep?

No, 40 meters underwater is just the location of copper ore on his side; it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the same elsewhere. After all, neither Qin Yunlong nor Qin Yunhu found copper ore underwater on their side.

But at least it indicated that this person he traded with found a copper ore site! A copper ore site that not even Li Wenxi found!

And considering that they couldn’t even gather enough stones and had to use copper ore to trade for green-level weapons, they’re likely not a powerhouse! Their copper ore site must not be as dangerous as Xu Xin’s!

Xu Xin thought about asking on the world channel who just traded copper ore but decided not to.

The world channel has over 80,000 people, and it forces anonymity. With all the chatter right now, his question would quickly be buried.

Moreover, if he draws attention from someone with ulterior motives, this person might get poached by others, especially those in the same region.

He would have to wait until the next trade to see if he could find them again.

Unfortunately, why can’t people from other regions send private messages...

Just then, a message arrived suddenly from Li Wenxi: ”Xu Xin, are you there?”

Xu Xin put all the resources into his backpack while replying: ”What’s up?”

”Now it’s safe, can I come see you?”

Coming to see him?

Xu Xin’s eyelid twitched.

Latenight visit, to see him?

”If you want to come, then come. I just finished my work.”

”Then I’ll come see you now!”

In no time, about ten seconds later, he heard the sound of a portal opening outside.

...Seriously?

This is... coming to his door?
