Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 431: Chapter 314 Regional Ranking The Formidable Area 188! _3

Lou Fei’Er quickly replied, ”Both sides don’t really affect each other; it’s basically like having two accounts.”

Xu Xin nodded. Not bad, this point can be used in the future.

He glanced again at the world channel and found that the world channel is currently very harmonious. Not many people are mentioning regional conflict anymore.

Many people are discussing matters in their own channel, and people from Area 188 are starting to brag. However, outsiders refuse to believe they still have nearly 3,000 people left, thinking Area 188 folks are bluffing.

As for the issue of regional conflict, the mystery voice hasn’t announced it collectively. On the contrary, the recent message suggested mutual help, making regional conflict hard to believe.

Furthermore, before the truth is truly revealed, people believe what they want to believe. The idea of only one region surviving in a regional conflict is something no one wishes for.

Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact that strong regions usually know about regional conflict, even Xu Xin, who believed it, would have doubts.

To this day, he doesn’t know what Ji Chaoyang saw during the treehouse defense that made him so certain there would be regional conflict.

However, he obtained similar information in the engraving room underground, knowing only a few could survive until the end, which Xu Xin also inferred.

But even so, currently, except for neighboring regions, other regions are too far apart to contact each other. Interaction only occurs through the world channel and trading platform, so making enemies now is definitely not a wise choice.

Development is the hard truth.

Now, on the world channel, although everyone is forcibly anonymous, they have become familiar with each other and started exchanging resources.

With more people offering the exchange of various survival resources, it seems everyone’s survival pressure has significantly decreased.

Suddenly, the mysterious voice sounded again in his ear.

[I suppose all survivors have had simple exchanges with survivors from other regions.]

[To assist survivors in surviving the harsh winter, we have launched various new resources in the points mall.]

[Additionally, the Area Strength Rankings are now open!]

[We will evaluate an area’s strength based on remaining population, total survivor resources, per capita disposable resources, and area development level, then list the rankings, updated every three days.]

[Please strive for a higher ranking.]

Ranking?

Xu Xin promptly unlocked his watch and clicked on the [Rankings] option.

Sure enough, among all the rankings, there was a major category: [Area Strength Rankings].

He immediately clicked to enter.

”Whew... really?” Xu Xin’s face showed a relaxed smile.

As soon as he clicked in, he saw the words [Jungle 188 Area] displayed at the top, in golden, largest font, with a large ① in front of the area name.

Furthermore, it showed the remaining population and a final score: 38642.

Xu Xin had no idea how these points were calculated or which aspects held more weight. But upon seeing the second-ranked area, he raised an eyebrow.

② Jungle Area 1, population: 2130, area score: 19850.

③ Jungle Area 23, population: 1982, area score: 17568.

Wow, Jungle 188’s score is almost double that of Area 1!

Scrolling down further, the list contained 200 areas, but only 163 had scores; the remaining 37 had scores of 0!

Does 0 mean... all the survivors in those areas are dead?

That’s tragic... based on the world’s channel info, it seems not everyone should have died in the defense war; did these areas all perish in the beast tide?

He also saw Jungle 187’s ranking, placed at 62nd, which wasn’t too bad.

With only a little over three hundred people left, still managing 62nd place...

Meanwhile, the world channel has completely blown up!

”Whoa! Area 188 indeed has nearly 3,000 people! Almost 40,000 points!”

”Hahaha, I told you, 188 Area is the strongest! Our explorer heroes are the best!”

”Oh my god, 188 Area is ridiculously strong, isn’t it a bit over the top?”

”What’s so ridiculous about it? Last time, those two rankings, first and second, were all from their area. Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang, I remember clearly, this area is truly invincible.”

”Whoa, our area managed top fifty! Awesome! We have less than 500 people, averages don’t reach, yet we made top fifty!”

”Damn, getting averaged again; all thanks to the leading areas adjusting the averages! Most areas only have 300 or 400 people left!”

”We’re eighth last among scored areas, and there are so many zero-score areas! We have dozens left, didn’t expect worse areas exist! Wow, I’m feeling balanced now!”

”We’re last, but! There are 37 completely dead areas! We’re better; we still have hope!”

”Now that the world channel is open, everyone can help each other; life is certainly easier than before! I’m off, someone is selling cheap meat, I’m starving; going to buy it!”

However, Xu Xin was wary.

Considering every previous ranking, rewards and penalties accompanied them.

This time, that mysterious voice didn’t even mention rewards or penalties.

Could there really be none?

No, if there truly are none, what’s the point of this ranking? Just for them to see?

This ranking surely has some unknown rules attached!

Rankings update every three days...

Perhaps after the end of this ranking, the next update will reveal the answer!
