Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 438: Chapter 317: The Snow Wolf Walking in the Snow_2

Actually, you can really ride on the snow layer!

Not bad, it saved a powered snowboard, but I still need to get her goggles, it’s nighttime now so it’s no big deal, but during the day, the white light can really blind you.

These mutated creatures on the snow are really interesting.

Very soon, Lou Fei’Er rode back on Axue. Axue landed gently on the ground after a leap over the snow surface.

Xu Xin looked at the snow surface stepped on by Axue, there were basically no traces, only shallow footprints where it jumped, covered by falling snow within just a dozen seconds making them invisible.

”Not bad, Axue.” Xu Xin patted Axue’s wolf head, and Axue responded with a howl.

”What about me, what about me? I’m not bad either!” Lou Fei’Er leaned her head over, wanting a head pat too.

Xu Xin: ”...”

Once this woman feels good, she starts again, doesn’t she?

Xu Xin raised his hand and flicked her forehead hard, she yelped in pain, stepped back two steps, holding her forehead, looking at Xu Xin with tearful eyes: ”You’re being unfair! I contracted with you earlier than Axue!”

Xu Xin rolled his eyes: ”Alright, stop acting with me, do you remember the task I gave you for tomorrow?”

”Of course, of course.” Lou Fei’Er was still rubbing her forehead, muttering in her heart, being flicked on the forehead on a cold day hurts so much, ”Go around the treehouse searching for survivors, whether from the same area or different areas, bring them all back.”

”Not bad.” Xu Xin nodded, ”About how fast is Axue?”

”Well, just now, it should have been around forty or fifty kilometers, right? But, I think Axue didn’t use its fastest speed, right Axue?” Lou Fei’Er asked while stroking Axue’s head.

”Awoo!” Axue called out.

Forty or fifty kilometers, or even faster?

Just now, his snowboard speed was about thirty plus kilometers, less than forty kilometers per hour.

The wolf is definitely faster. That’s good, it speeds up Lou Fei’Er’s bringing people back.

It’s a pity that in this weather, Silver King and Mimi can’t move normally.

Have to think of a way to coax them into the bracelet to take them out. Otherwise, if he really goes out alone, in this situation, it’s really not safe.

On the way back, Xu Xin directly used his watch to buy goggles for Lou Fei’Er, and transferred two thousand points to her.

”These points are for you to buy clothes and miscellaneous items, expensive things, tell me, I’ll buy them.”

”Got it, Master! Aww, I really wish we could bring down Area 187 soon...” Standing in front of her treehouse, Lou Fei’Er said somewhat helplessly, ”Living in this small treehouse all the time is really uncomfortable, I wish I could transplant that big one over here.”

Transplanting that treehouse is temporarily not doable, with Lou Fei’Er’s treehouse there, they can clearly understand the movements of Area 187. Although Area 188 is weak, it’s their recent enemy.

”Then try to bring back more people from Area 187, and that group Zhang Daoguang is preparing to establish, did he invite you to join?”

”Not yet, said he would invite me tonight, maybe it’s not established yet.”

”Remember to probe their respective locations.”

”Understood!”

Xu Xin also returned to the treehouse.

He still had a pile of bodies to dissect, over three hundred low-level mutated creatures.

Maybe ask Lou Fei’Er to come and help him dissect?

Forget it, with his lucky koi’s enhancement, the probability of getting high-level materials is higher.

He should do it himself, anyway, there’s nothing else to do now.

Down to the first floor of the treehouse, Xu Xin started cutting all the bodies.

Luckily, the purple-grade boning knife could dissect a mutated creature’s body with just a few strokes.

”Whew...” Xu Xin looked at a bag of materials and exhaled deeply.

Originally scarce blue-grade resources have now become common in his hands.

Too much!

Every low-level mutated creature, as long as their hide isn’t too damaged, is one hundred percent blue-grade, other parts have a certain probability of being blue-grade, and certain chances of special blue-grade materials.

Plus the purple-grade boning knife in hand, the probability of acquiring blue-grade materials was increased.

Now, he had hundreds of blue-grade hides, a hundred plus blue-grade beast bones, ten thousand kilograms of delicious mutated beast meat, and twenty blue-grade snow fox tails.

Meanwhile, the probability of acquiring purple-grade snow wolf hide was higher than Xu Xin imagined.

Among the bodies of over three hundred low-level mutated creatures, half were wolf bodies, providing Xu Xin with 7 purple-grade hides! Including from other mutated creatures, he obtained a total of 9 purple-grade hides!

Ordinary snow wolves didn’t have as high a point value as the piranhas he encountered in the cave, but the purple-grade rate was nice.

However, the pity is, apart from hides, he didn’t get other purple-grade materials from the wolves, not even special substrates.

Maybe it’s because the most valuable thing on the wolves was their hides, so the drop rate was higher, but didn’t have special materials like bear paws or fox tails.

Also, because low-level mutated creatures hadn’t fully mutated, the blood pattern mutation wasn’t as deeply ingrained as in middle-level mutated creatures, that penetrates the five viscera and six bowels, but only on the surface, only the hide is more advanced, so he can cut purple-grade beast hide, only purple-grade beast hide.

However, it’s also because the mutated toxins hadn’t penetrated deeply that Xu Xin obtained over ten thousand kilograms of edible delicious mutated beast meat again.

His granary expanded once more.

Feels like it can already be used for disaster relief.

Very good.

Looking at so many purple-grade hides, Xu Xin pondered.

Purple-grade leather armor set, can’t be made now.

Because a purple-grade leather armor set requires not only hides but also bones, and he only has a single purple-grade bone obtained from several middle-level mutated snow leopards. One isn’t enough.

Moreover, the blue-grade leather armor set’s function is to conceal oneself, the purple-grade leather armor set must enhance this aspect, though unsure what it does, yet should be similar to Zhao Xiaochuan’s [Cloak of Concealment].

But a full set of purple-grade leather armor requires four purple-grade hides and four purple-grade bones, a total of eight purple-grade resources!

Although the functionality might differ, regarding similar uses, sure enough, Zhao Xiaochuan’s special ability [Cloak of Concealment] is cheaper to manufacture.

From this perspective, every special ability is indeed strong.

Xu Xin opened the Explorer channel.

Xu Xin: ”Everyone, do you all have purple-grade backpacks already? Still lack purple-grade hides?”

The purple-grade backpack is necessary for everyone to have one.

Ji Chaoyang: ”You must have lots of purple-grade hides, right? I have five left, anyone else needs them?”

Ji Chaoyang was similar to him; with the help of the plant heart, the bodies were mostly intact, so the chance to get purple hides increased.

Wang Lei: ”No need! Sister Gui Xin is invincible, we have enough resources here, though not as surplus as yours.”

Wen Guixin: ”We have just enough if we divide it, no surplus left.”

Qin Yunlong: ”The purple-grade backpack is indeed strong, 2% weight capacity, such a qualitative change.”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Any more who need [Cloak of Concealment]? I am out of purple-grade hides, bring your own materials!”

Li Wenxi: ”Huh? How did you all get so many purple-grade resources? I also have a purple-grade boning knife but haven’t cut any purple-grade hide, can’t even make a backpack...”

Li Wenxi’s side mostly had mutated creatures blasted by explosive arrows, usually ruining the hides, so she could hardly cut out any purple hides.

Wen Guixin’s side, due to wild beasts being poisoned and killed en masse, she mentioned that such deceased mutated creatures can’t be decomposed for materials, so her side had fewer purple-grade materials than Xu Xin’s, barely enough.

In this aspect, only he and Ji Chaoyang had some surplus.
