Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 439: Chapter 318: World Trading Platform World Market

Xu Xin immediately traded three pieces of purple-grade beast hide to Li Wenxi.

”Wow, am I being fed back?” Li Wenxi’s message made Xu Xin laugh and cry at the same time.

Her words weren’t wrong. Isn’t it a kind of giving back? He had taken so many resources from Li Wenxi, and now he was finally returning a bit.

”One for the backpack, one for the Cloak of Invisibility, and one needed for the Strongman Belt, exactly three pieces, so you’re not lacking now, right?”

”No shortage, no shortage! Honestly, just the backpack and Cloak of Invisibility are enough. The Strongman Belt doesn’t feel like it’s that necessary.”

”Still, make one. You need to enhance your own combat ability to handle special situations.”

”Alright, I’ll go find them to get it made now! Hey, Xu Xin...”

”What’s up?”

”Nothing! It’s late, you should get some rest!”

Uh...

It had indeed been dark for a long time, but that was because the nights were very long now, getting dark by four o’clock. It was only around eight in the evening now.

Sleeping at this time was way too early.

This little beauty, does she want him to come over again?

Xu Xin shook his head, with the world chat open now, there were more important matters to attend to first.

As for certain things...

Tomorrow would be soon enough.

Just then, Lou Fei’Er sent a private message: ”Hey, I don’t have a purple-grade backpack, I’m lacking...”

Lou Fei’Er was also in the group but hadn’t spoken.

Oh, almost forgot about her. She really needed it too; there was an important task coming up.

With plenty of resources on hand, Xu Xin made a purple-grade backpack and then asked Wang Lei and Zhao Xiaochuan to each make a special piece of equipment, which together they handed to Lou Fei’Er.

Lou Fei’Er: ”Wow, the master is really generous! Three pieces of purple-grade equipment!”

Xu Xin: ”Just make sure to complete the task well tomorrow.”

Having taken care of these, he swiped open his watch and clicked on the world chat.

”With everyone’s help, it’s really so much better now! Thank you, world chat!”

”Who would have thought there’d be skiing equipment in the points mall? So strong, but unfortunately, I don’t have that many points.”

”Not even a few hundred points? Didn’t you take down a few blood-patterned creatures today?”

”Who dares to go outside? It’s good enough those mutated creatures haven’t killed me. I just curl up shivering in the treehouse...”

”... Don’t the big shots in your area share any treehouse crossbows with you?” A person from Region 188 said this, but due to forced anonymity, it was unknown who, only the region identifier could be seen.

”Huh? Our area’s big shots? Almost all of them are dead, right? Now we have only sixty-something people left in our region, and I haven’t seen anyone sharing weapons or armor. We survived the defense war by luck. Unlike you guys in Region 188, having so many big shots helping you, we’re so envious!”

People from Region 188 had shared the deeds of their area’s ”Explorers” organization with the whole community, and now everyone envied the survivors from Region 188.

”Oh, can we switch regions? I want to go to Region 188, I’m even willing to rely on them... I’ll bring dozens of people from our region with me...”

”Should be possible, isn’t it possible to parasitize? You’d just lose some autonomy.”

”You can also come to our Jungle Area 1. Our Area 1 welcomes any survivor, and we absolutely guarantee not to exploit you because of parasitism.”

”Area 1 isn’t bad either, the area number sounds strong, Area 1 is ranked second now, right?”

”Already thinking of defecting? Isn’t it good to survive on your own?”

”How to survive on our own? We’re down to just a few dozen people. If danger strikes again, in situations where trading is impossible, the chances of everyone dying are too high; over thirty regions have already seen everyone die, we might be next...”

In the world chat, there was basically a consensus now to coexist peacefully, share resources, and survive together in this apocalyptic world.

As for earlier talk of regional competition, those voices were gone, probably since those people realized that regions couldn’t easily meet each other except their neighbors. So, even if there was competition, it was meaningless. Cooperation was better for now.

In the future, there might even be situations like the person just mentioned, where others voluntarily join, defeating the others without a fight.

Moreover, for regions ranked higher, exchanging food or products for a lot of materials was also a way to enhance their own strength and weaken the other party.

This was actually Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang’s thought.

Exploitation exists in any world.

Their Region 188 had so many advantages over other weaker regions.

First, Qi Xuefei’s pills.

Although it’s unclear what powerful regions have, from the world chat discussions, only survivors from Region 188 mentioned that pills were distributed during the rainy season, while other regions didn’t even have the concept of medicine and only knew that hemostatic grass could treat injuries.

Furthermore, Qi Xuefei could grow spices, which were likely to be in higher demand in more powerful regions. After all, people like Xu Xin, who didn’t have to worry about survival anymore, naturally sought a better quality of life.

Next is Li Wenxi’s metal.

Though they weren’t planning to release blue or purple-grade metals externally, they could release green-grade ones. From the current situation, items like iron ore were still very scarce in the market; most people were still using stone tools and wearing leather armor.
