Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 426: Chapter 313: World Channel Opens! All Members Communicate!

[Dear survivors, in this icy world, you must feel helpless, too afraid to step out of your treehouse.]

[Since the average survival rate across all regions has dropped below 5%, and to help survivors live better, the world channel is now open!]

[All survivors who have made it this far, you can now communicate with survivors worldwide on the world channel!]

[Meanwhile, the world trade platform is open, and trading between regions is fully enabled.]

[Please do your best to survive this harsh winter!]

[Remember, your treehouse is your only refuge, never abandon it!]

This is truly, one wave after another!

The sudden voice left Xu Xin in shock.

Lou Fei’Er ran out of the kitchen, her face also filled with astonishment, ”The world channel is open!”

”I heard it,” Xu Xin nodded.

That sentence [The survival rate has dropped below 5%] gave him quite the shock!

5%!

Each region initially had ten thousand people, and the survival rate is now below 5%, meaning the average population per region is not even 500!

That’s way too few!

Right, how many people are in Area 188 now?

He swiped open his watch, and indeed, alongside the [Region Channel] option, a [World Channel] has appeared!

He didn’t open the world channel first, but swiftly clicked on the region channel.

The number of people in the region made him breathe a sigh of relief.

Region population: 2932 people.

Good heavens, even before the beast tide, the total number of people in Area 188 had just surpassed 3000, right?

Less than a hundred died?

He looked at Lou Fei’Er, who was also swiping on her watch: ”How many people are left in Area 187?”

”Only 389 people left,” Lou Fei’Er looked a bit surprised, ”Quite a lot died, no wonder the average dropped below 5%, I thought Area 187 would be above average, but it seems I was too optimistic.”

It seems the weapons and treehouse armor the [Explorers] prepared for others played a significant role.

And it looks like the beast tide faced by other survivors was not as massive as the one here. Without such strength, if they survived, it means their beast tide must have been very small.

There are few people speaking in the region channel now, only a handful are talking about the communication finally opening up.

They must have gone to check the world channel.

Xu Xin immediately returned to the homepage and clicked on the world channel.

The world channel now also showed the global number of people.

World population: 89,462 people

Not even 90,000...

That’s right.

According to the previous leaderboard introduction, there are only 200 jungle zones in total, each zone initially with 10,000 people, so the first batch of survivors coming to this world is two million people.

With the survival rate now below 5%, doesn’t it mean there are already fewer than 100,000 left...

It’s really too cruel, up to now, a whole 1.9 million have died!

But, is this world channel only for jungle zones?

At this moment, there were already countless people talking in the channel.

”Amazing, world channel! It’s the world channel!”

”Holy crap, we can really contact people from other regions now!”

”I’m trembling in fear during the beast tide but I rise once again!”

”I’m on the brink of tears! Really on the brink of tears, our region only has a few dozen people left! We’ve been desperate these past few days! Finally, there are others out there!”

”Oh my God, the world trading platform is open! Please put food up for trade, we need food! Our region has no food at all now! Outside, there’s the beast tide and low temperatures, making it impossible to go out and find food! We don’t have points, can’t exchange for fertilizer, and it’s going to take nearly ten days for crops to mature, we’re really going to starve!”

”Finally, the whole region is open, I need to cling to other regions’ thighs, I need to cling! Xu Xin! Is the great Xu Xin from the whole region here? I want to be the dog of the great Xu Xin! Woof woof woof!”

”Move aside, if anyone’s going to do it first, it’s me. I’m from Area 183, we share the same tier with the great Xu Xin, you from Area 44, back off!”

Xu Xin didn’t expect himself to be so famous in other regions too.

But indeed, two whole-region leaderboards appeared in the first stage, and he always ranked first, so making a lasting impression is normal.

He noticed that people from other regions seem to be forced to remain anonymous, but each message indicated which area they were from.

For instance, the person saying their area is down to just a few dozen survivors is from Jungle Area 123. The other two are naturally from Area 44 and Area 183, marked in front of their messages.

If what the person from Area 123 said is true, then Jungle Area 123 is really miserable, with only a few dozen people left alive.

However, that mysterious voice didn’t seem to mention that regions would confront each other?

Speaking of regional confrontation, he wasn’t entirely sure about it himself. He heard it from Ji Chaoyang, and he can confirm that the leader of Area 187, Zhang Daoguang, also learned the news.

So he surmised that those who got the message were the first to venture out of their treehouses.

”What are you talking about? People from different regions are enemies, are you looking to die?”

Sure enough, someone in the region channel brought up this topic.

His prefix was Jungle Area 1.
