Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 440: Chapter 318: World Trading Platform World Market_2

However, he did not intend to sell the green-grade metal but planned to process it with Ji Chaoyang and then sell finished products. After all, those who can use metal to craft tools are people who have obtained gold treasure chests during jungle exploration activities. Such people are rare, even in Area 188, where there are only two.

The market for metal armor and weapons is undoubtedly huge.

Other items, such as the artworks he and Ji Chaoyang created, his alchemical products, and those special pieces of equipment they could make over there, are not for sale. These items, they haven’t even supplied enough to their region, not even enough within [Explorers].

Xu Xin immediately asked others in [Explorers] about the trading matters, and the others generally agreed with his perspective.

Ji Chaoyang: ”I also think it’s better to sell low-grade pills and green-grade iron equipment to outsiders.”

Qi Xuefei: ”Low-grade pills? Are you talking about the ones that cause two hours of weakness after consumption? The ones I rejected earlier?”

Xu Xin: ”That’s right, it looks like you don’t need too many materials to make those, right?”

Qi Xuefei: ”Indeed, they are suitable for mass production. Well... the higher-grade ones can now also be mass-produced... never mind, I’ll make more of those pills and sell them to people outside our area. We’ll keep the higher ones for ourselves.”

Ji Chaoyang: ”Other areas might not have people who can utilize medicinal herbs, you might well exchange a high quantity of herbs for a life-saving pill at a high price. They would mostly be willing to trade for such pills.”

Qi Xuefei: ”Got it, I’ve been feeling that it’s too slow to rely on growing herbs by ourselves, as there are too few people.”

Li Wenxi: ”Do you all need green-grade iron blocks? Take them, I’ve got too many green-grade iron blocks. My treehouse can’t bear their weight anymore! Please take them all. The green iron ore feels like a byproduct of my gambling on blue-grade iron blocks...”

Her furnace had a chance to produce high-grade materials, and smelting green-grade iron blocks could produce blue-grade ones. In this sense, green-grade iron chunks are indeed a byproduct of gambling for blue ones.

It seems like there are no issues with the others as well.

Xu Xin walked to the third floor, and Keke had already run to the bedroom to sleep. Mimi Silver King and Afu were also asleep, seeming to be influenced by Keke.

As he approached the bedroom, he immediately felt a peaceful atmosphere, and his eyes began to droop.

But it was only eight or nine o’clock, and he didn’t want to sleep so early, so he immediately stayed away from the bedroom.

Keke’s powers are quite strong, indeed.

He walked to the window and looked outside.

The snow was falling densely. Countless snowflakes drifted from the sky, and a thick layer of snow had already piled up around the treehouse.

The snow was too heavy, heavier than last night’s snow, so heavy that he could turn into a snowman within seconds of stepping outside.

He wondered how thick the snow on the ground would be by tomorrow.

Just then, Li Wenxi sent him a trade request.

He opened it and, wow, there were five thousand green-grade iron blocks, five hundred green-grade steel blocks, eighty blue-grade iron blocks, eighty blue-grade steel blocks, and even three purple-grade steel blocks!

”I can’t use them and they’re just taking up space, so I’m giving them to you!” Li Wenxi sent a video call. She was still lying on the sofa, though this time in slightly more conservative pajamas.

”Did you send them to Ji Chaoyang as well?” Xu Xin asked.

”I only sent him the green-grade iron blocks. Didn’t you all say to only sell green-grade equipment?” Li Wenxi sat up on the sofa and said.

Sending them was good.

”Alright, thank you for your hard work. You should rest. I’ve got to start crafting metal equipment here.”

”Okay... sure...”

Xu Xin sent a voice call to Ji Chaoyang to discuss pricing.

They decided to sell weapons first, as it’s easier to experiment and find value in weapons than armor.

They planned to sell at low prices to survivors in Area 188 and at higher prices to those outside the area.

Of course, to prevent Area 188 survivors from reselling at high prices like scalpers, they would limit each survivor’s purchase quantity. If they still wanted to sell at high prices to outsiders, then let them, as they wouldn’t have any left after selling.

For outsiders, they planned to price them based on a large amount of basic resources, energy sources like coal and charcoal, or a true, non-blue grade fruit kind of blue-grade resource.

After all, the strength of green-grade iron tools is essentially equal to blue-grade stone tools. Their approach is equivalent to enabling everyone to use blue-grade stone tools.

If Lou Fei’Er hadn’t been captured by Xu Xin, she might still be using a blue-grade stone dagger. She was in the top ten of Area 187!

Soon, Xu Xin used up most of the iron blocks Li Wenxi sent, and the first wave of weapons was ready.

Some were listed on their region’s trading platform, and some were listed on the world trading platform.

The world trading platform allows for non-anonymous transactions, and Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang didn’t choose anonymity.

Since both ranked first and second on the world leaderboard and Area 188 was overwhelmingly first, their trade information was pinned and instantly became the most prominent on the world trading platform.

Then, the world channel was once again in an uproar.

”Damn, the bosses in Area 188 made a move, they’re starting to sell weapons! Iron weapons, damn, are we entering the Iron Age?”
