Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 427: Chapter 313: World Channel Open! Full Communication! _2

This area, just by looking at its name, makes it feel really formidable.

After all, it’s Zone 1.

However, since people from other zones are aware of the zone competition, his guess is basically correct.

He just slightly doubted the authenticity of Ji Chaoyang’s message; that was truly a mistake.

”What? Who said? Who said zones are enemies? Not even that mysterious voice, which is probably official, said it. What about your mother?” Instantly, some people were dissatisfied, as this person’s words were quite unpleasant.

”Exactly, I can’t stand people who create panic. We’re all survivors, can’t we just communicate friendly?”

”Asshole, always stirring up trouble!”

”? Didn’t your zones receive the zone competition messages? How did you survive the defense battle?”

This question was asked by someone from Jungle Zone 23. It seems their zone also received zone competition news.

”Defense battle? Those vines and giant ants retreated on their own!”

”?”

”???”

”What the hell?! Retreated on their own?”

”For what reason?!”

”Ah, yes, but only a few dozen of us were lucky, the others all died...”

Xu Xin realized this upon reading.

It seems like some kind of protection mechanism, not letting everyone in a zone die off completely, leaving dozens behind.

Otherwise, if there were no one like Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang among them, bold enough to venture outside and possessing strength, they would all perish directly.

Additionally, as no one ventured out to explore, no one received news of the zone competition.

”Just a few dozen of you, what about your mother? We have over six hundred people here, above average! Our boss who saved us told us zones indeed compete! I don’t care about you guys, starve out!”

Six hundred people...

”Huh? We have nearly a thousand people alive now? How come we haven’t heard anything?”

This was said by someone from Zone 66, followed by several other Zone 66 people echoing them.

Now having nearly a thousand alive meant at least two people killed the plant heart back then; one should have gotten the zone competition info like Ji Chaoyang did.

Did he not inform the others?

Of course, it could also be that they really didn’t receive any information.

Oh right, have the people from Zone 188 refrain from participating in this zone competition discussion!

He opened the zone channel and found Ji Chaoyang had already thought ahead and voiced it there.

”Everyone, the world channel is open now. Let’s not discuss zone competition in the zone channel. At present, we don’t have true contact opportunities between zones. Competing would hinder transactions between zones, and we have abundant resources, holding an absolute advantage, so let’s temporarily be friendly with others.”

”Got it, Boss Ji, understood!”

”Wow! Our zone is too strong! We have nearly a 30% survival rate, and the overall rate is less than 5%! 5%! We’re too strong!”

”All thanks to the boss, all thanks to the boss for his heavy crossbows and explosive bolts! Otherwise, I might have really died in this beast tide!”

”Hahaha, damn, I’m embarrassed to tell them that we have nearly three thousand people in our zone now; look at the six hundred and under a thousand survivors pretending to be big shots, I can’t help it!”

”Some zones can’t even afford food? The disparity is too great! I sympathize! I’m troubled by having too much fruit here.”

These guys...

But speaking of beast tides, Xu Xin suddenly got curious and asked, ”What was this beast tide like for you?”

When Xu Xin spoke, countless people naturally responded to his question.

”Boss Xu, similar to the last beast tide, but this time it’s mostly mutant creatures!”

”Yeah, even though there’s no communication, I followed what the boss taught us last time, not to peek or speak, and the beasts didn’t attack me!”

”I got curious and peeked outside for a second, ended up attracting a few mutant snow wolves! Luckily, snow wolves can’t climb trees or jump high, I shot them into sieves with my repeating crossbow!”

”Didn’t you use explosive bolts? It’s super satisfying, each one is a goner!”

”Only had twenty bolts, gotta save them! Also, what if the explosion noise attracts other mutants!”

”Attract what? Most would just run away!”

Similar to the last beast tide?

The last beast tide had many beasts around, but none actively attacked the treehouses. They usually just engaged in regular hunting, treating the treehouses as normal trees, only jumping in when they noticed survivors.

This time, however, due to manipulation by those furry freaks, the mutant creature groups resembled a well-trained army, hard for an ordinary person to resist.

But it seems only they faced such attacks?

Only they had mutation humans controlling the mutant army?

”What’s the beast tide like over there in Zone 187?” Xu Xin looked at Lou Fei’Er, who was standing by inputting manually into the chat channel.

Ever since the voice input incident made her a prisoner of war, she developed the habit of manual input.
