Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 405: Chapter 302 Intense Battle, Beast Horde Retreats!_3

At the same time, the electric grid behind him slowly repaired with the hum of the generator.

Xu Xin leapt once more, jumped over the electric grid, and pierced towards the snow fox on the ground that’s secretly dealing damage!

The snow fox was trying to avoid the vines on the ground while also launching an attack on the Silver King, unaware that someone was suddenly descending from above to attack it. By the time it felt the shadow and tried to dodge, it was already too late.

The long halberd slightly shifted and accurately struck the mutated snow fox that was frantically trying to evade!

A sharp scream rang out, and the snow fox’s red-and-white tail exploded upward, then drooped down again.

[You have killed a polluted mutated snow fox and gained points: 100.]

Indeed, the points from the snow fox are significantly fewer compared to the snow leopard, and its strength is considerably weaker as well.

Without the snow fox’s assistance, the Snow Wolf King immediately became the weaker party under the combined attack of the vines and the Silver King.

Suddenly, a whistle sounded from afar.

”Huh?” Xu Xin frowned, puzzled as to why the whistle was coming from the southeast.

The direction of the beast army’s attack was clearly northwest, away from the area where the Lake Giant Python was active.

The whistling person, why are they in the southeast?

There were only about a dozen faint red dots far away, most likely ordinary beasts.

Upon hearing the whistle, the Snow Wolf King immediately tried to return the way it came, turning around and jumping back.

The electric grid was now mostly repaired, with only a gap left, which it seemed it could barely squeeze through.

But it was an electric grid, and a slight touch would...

”Zila!”

A dazzling light flashed, accompanied by the sound of electricity. The weary Snow Wolf King froze in the grid.

Xu Xin ended its life with a thrust of his halberd.

Meanwhile, Mimi also plunged a claw into the eye socket of the snow leopard trying to escape, ending its life.

Thus, all five intermediate-level mutated creatures in the beast herd remained within his territory.

On the map, the red dots around his treehouse had reduced dramatically from before, quickly moving away from his treehouse toward the Hilly Resource Zone in the northwest.

And in the center of the Hilly Resource Zone, that intensely bright red dot was still glowing.

Xu Xin let out a long sigh of relief.

No matter what, as long as the beast tide retreated and didn’t attack the treehouse, it was good.

Mimi and Silver King had already walked up to Xu Xin, both beasts covered in blood and wounds.

”Well done!” Xu Xin patted the large heads of the two beasts, revealing a smile.

”Awoo!” The Silver King responded with a cry, and Mimi slightly rubbed against Xu Xin’s hand, then paced toward the Red Mist room.

”Silver King, you go too. Remember, don’t touch the electric grid when you come out.”

Xu Xin didn’t intend to stop them. They were indeed wounded and needed to recover, and they hadn’t shown any abnormal conditions like Lou Fei’Er.

Let’s take one step at a time. At least the Red Mist can enhance their strength.

”Awhoo!” Silver King answered and ran toward the Red Mist room.

Xu Xin then looked at the corpses of these intermediate mutated creatures on the ground.

Probably because the intermediate mutated creatures were entirely polluted, even the plant heart despised them and didn’t absorb their bodies.

In total, there were five corpses. Apart from the one outside that had been pierced into a honeycomb by vines, which might have damaged pelts, the other four entities were relatively intact.

Xu Xin immediately collected all the corpses. It was well known that when he had only a blue-grade deboning knife before, intermediate mutated creature corpses would yield blue-grade resources 100%.

Now he had a purple-grade deboning knife.

This was a jackpot!

Outside, some of the low-level mutated creature corpses hadn’t been absorbed by the plant vines, either because they were saturated or deliberately left for Xu Xin. He didn’t mind, of course, and jumped out to collect all the mutated creature corpses into his backpack.

Time to expand the meat storage again, and there’s also a chance to carve out purple-grade materials from low-level mutated creatures!

But before that, he needed to help Li Wenxi.

On the map, densely packed red dots surrounded Li Wenxi’s treehouse completely. Although the red dots were disappearing continuously, it was like a drop in the ocean. At this rate, Li Wenxi might not be able to wipe out this beast herd tonight.

She didn’t have a plant heart on her side, making it much harder than Xu Xin’s!

The beasts encircled the treehouse without attacking, seemingly blocked ten meters away from the treehouse by the electric grid. But if they launched the cycle wolf pack strategy like the Snow Wolf King just did, the electric grid wouldn’t hold for long!

The treehouse would definitely be breached!

Thinking of the special axe he got from the mutated humans, his heart sank.

He had to help her!

As for Ji Chaoyang’s side, he didn’t need Xu Xin’s help. His side had fewer mutated creatures than Li Wenxi’s, and he also had a plant heart, so he had almost cleaned up the mutated creatures completely.

As for Qi Xuefei’s side, mutated creatures were the fewest. Although the situation wasn’t optimistic, it was much better than Li Wenxi’s.

Li Wenxi’s side was completely surrounded!
