Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 433: Chapter 315: Purple-Level Fertilizer, Snow Equipment!_2

Points can’t be exchanged, isn’t that common knowledge?

”Huh?” Li Wenxi was also stunned for a moment, ”You didn’t know? Survivors of the same main treehouse can actually gift points to each other!”

”What?” Xu Xin’s eyes widened, and he immediately clicked on the parasitic treehouse section and started searching.

”Just click on Fei’Er’s parasitic treehouse, then go to permissions management, and you’ll find the option to gift points there.” Li Wenxi got up from the sofa, walked to the screen, aimed the camera at it, and demonstrated for Xu Xin.

Xu Xin followed suit, and sure enough, following Li Wenxi’s method, he found a choice at the very bottom of all permissions, the point gifting option.

Once opened, you can enter the amount of points to gift.

”You found this out, huh! It’s hidden so deep...,” Xu Xin said with a bit of helplessness. It wasn’t his fault for not finding it; he had so many permissions, and last time he just glanced over them, who knew there was a point gifting option mixed in there.

Moreover, since there was no previous need for it, it was normal for him not to notice.

”I was bored before, so I meticulously studied every option in the treehouse system,” Li Wenxi reclined back on the sofa, aiming the camera at herself.

This point gifting feature is way more convenient. In the future, when encountering limited purchase items, he can distribute points to Lou Fei’Er and Ma Hongwei, letting them each buy one.

Like this time’s purple-grade soil, since they don’t have any planting houses, it’s wasted in their hands anyway, might as well give it all to him, hehe.

Feels good.

But...

Looking at it this way, a main treehouse and its parasitic treehouses feel like a real organization. The map shows green dots for companions, members can operate tools inside each other’s treehouses, and now they can gift points to each other...

In contrast, Li Wenxi still has no light dot on the map, a neutral unit.

Let’s hope nothing goes wrong in the future.

”Quick, look at the other stuff, there’s so much more!” Li Wenxi urged Xu Xin.

Xu Xin continued looking down.

[Giant Planter (Purple): Furniture, a planter that can hold Land of Harvest (Purple) and be placed inside the treehouse, accelerating plant growth. Remember to place it by the window! Required points: 2000 (1400)]

A purple-grade planter, available without restrictions, for 2000 points, is reasonably priced. If it were like the blue-grade planters priced the same as blue-grade fertilizer, he’d be broke instantly.

After all, this kind of planter is a must-buy because blue-grade planters can only hold blue-grade soil at most.

Only with a planter can the plants be grown in a planting house and enjoy the benefits inside.

And he wouldn’t dare plant his crops outside the treehouse, he wouldn’t even dare to put soil outside.

There are marauders rampaging outside now, and even though his treehouse is heavily fortified with various protective measures, he still feels uneasy.

It’s best to keep it inside the treehouse.

A planter is necessary, so he directly bought one, spending 1400 points, leaving him with 20020 points.

Continue looking down.

Besides the purple-grade fertilizer and purple-grade planter, many snow equipment items have appeared in the points marketplace!

[Snowboard (Green): Snow-specific mobility tool. When used correctly, it can glide freely on heavy snow without sinking. Requires some skill to use, otherwise, you might still end up face-first in the snow! Required points: 100.]

[Electric Snowboard (Blue): Snow-specific mobility tool, rechargeable model, can be used continuously for twelve hours, glides effortlessly on snow without requiring skill! Comes with one hour of charge after purchase, needs battery connection for recharging. When depleted, it’s no different from the Snowboard (Green). The electric snowboard is quite fast, be careful not to hit a tree! Required points: 1000.]

A snowboard for gliding on snow!

And there are green and blue grades, with a tenfold price difference.

The blue-grade snowboard actually needs electricity for charging!

But that’s exactly what suits Xu Xin; he just set up an electrical system, and now he has another use for it.

Electric snowboards!

[Snow Goggles (Green): Must-have goggles for skating on snow! Reduces glare, enhances contrast, and protects against cold, wind, and debris. Without them, beware of snow blindness turning you blind! Required points: 100.]

[Snow Goggles (Blue): Premium must-have goggles for skating on snow! In addition to Snow Goggles (Green) features, they also protect against special rays and fog, very considerate! Required points: 1000.]

Another type of snow equipment, goggles! This is definitely a snow essential!

Protection against cold, wind, and debris goes without saying, and on sunny days, the blinding light reflected on the snow is glaring. Even when looking down from the treehouse on a bright sunny day, the white glare reflected off the snow makes it hard to open your eyes, let alone explore the vast snowy terrains.

Without goggles, you’d truly go blind.

Moreover, the blue-grade goggles’ capabilities like protection against special rays and fog piqued his interest.

If he were in the original world, he’d think it’s for UV protection and fog prevention, but in this world...

Special rays and fog, he’s encountered those.

He’s encountered two types of special rays.

One is the red glow from Silver King Mimi, and Lou Fei’Er when they’re leveling up. The glow from the first two made Xu Xin, whose spiritual power wasn’t too strong at the time, feel like his head was splitting, as if something was trying to drill out of his brain.

The other is the luminous white glow emitted by treehouse cores and energy core fragments, maintaining a suitable temperature around and even repelling or directly killing mutant creatures.

As for fog, there’s nothing to say; he’s dealt with Red Mist countless times, and even now, the small cabin under his treehouse is still filled with red mist.

Does the blue snow goggles’ description about light and fog protection relate to these?

Anyway, since he has enough points, he must buy the blue-grade goggles; they’ll definitely come in handy in the future.

Continue looking down.

[Retractable Grappling Hook (Blue): Once fired, it can firmly grasp rock faces or ice layers. Climbing snow mountains is hard; grappling hooks are a must-have! Required points: 1000.]

They even have something like this?

A grappling hook is something that can latch onto rock faces, allowing you to swing around, right?

This thing, in the flat jungle terrain with mostly small hills, doesn’t seem very useful.

Where’s the snow mountain...?

Hmm... might as well buy one for backup, just in case it becomes useful later.

Continue looking.

[Snow Suit (Green)], only available in green grade with no blue grade, priced at 100 points, offering wind and cold protection but only tolerating temperatures down to -15°C. Any lower, and you’d start feeling cold and wouldn’t be able to stay outside for long.

According to Xu Xin’s estimate, current nighttime temperatures are at least below -20°C, but midday temperatures hover around -10°C. Currently, there are about three to four hours during the day where temperatures exceed -15°C.

This outfit is quite useful.

This set of gear allows almost all survivors to venture out at specific times!

Of course, except for those without points.

But in their District 188, there shouldn’t be anyone that incompetent, right? At the very least, they should be able to afford the green grade.

The entire green set is only 300 points, and with crossbows, explosive bolts, and having faced high-point mutant creature hordes, they should at least have 300 points, right?

He doesn’t know about other districts, but in District 188, they should be quite stable.

Continue looking down.

”Hm? They’re even selling clothes now!”

Xu Xin was amazed to find that the points marketplace is not only selling outdoor snow suits, but also regular daily clothing!

Variety of simple and flashy clothes, from underwear to coats, from pajamas to windbreakers, they have it all!

Finally, not having to wear armor and leather suits all day long?

Wait a minute...

Li Wenxi today, seems like... isn’t wearing a leather suit, is she?

Xu Xin looked at the video camera, Li Wenxi was lying on the sofa, her cheeks slightly puffed, with a slightly disgruntled expression.

As expected, she wasn’t wearing a leather suit! She was wearing a very breezy set of pajamas!
