Berserk God of War

130: Chapter 130: Farewell, Sui Yu Goes First 130: Chapter 130: Farewell, Sui Yu Goes First Listening to the beast roars around them and looking at the dense mass of horse corpses…

Sikong Jing was the first to pull Sui Yu out, then he also dragged Ah Hu and Old Zhang out of the horse corpses and whispered, “Don’t make any noise, get everyone out, then let’s go!”

Sui Yu was stunned for a moment and asked, “The Beast Tide…”

Sikong Jing said in a low voice, “The Beast Tide is already nearing its end, but we can’t wait for it to fully calm down before leaving, or else we will still have to face Xia Country’s remnants.”

As the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, even hidden among the horse corpses, Sikong Jing was instinctively able to judge the situation of the Beast Tide.

The others were not capable of this.

This included Princess Die Lian and the experts from Xia Country, none of whom dared to break out of the horse corpses before the Beast Tide truly subsided.

In the blink of an eye, the hundred thousand troops and people from the Jin Sect had quietly retreated into the distance.

Staring at the horse corpses where Princess Die Lian and the powerful allies from Xia Country were hidden, Ah Hu asked, “Brother Sikong, do you want to keep bringing this Princess of Xia Country along and take her home as a bride?”

Old Zhang, hearing this, lit up, “Brother Sikong, let the Princess of Xia Country bear you a few children, tsk tsk tsk…”

Sikong Jing twitched the corner of his mouth, his face dark as the bottom of a pot, almost delivering a big slap to both of them.

“What are you thinking?

I am a married man, and besides, I am…

not interested in the princess.”

As Sikong Jing spoke, the image of Su Yuexi flashed through his mind; she was still waiting for him to come home.

“Then should we…

kill her?” someone from the Jin Sect asked coldly.

Sikong Jing shook his head, “If another princess dies in Xia Country, they would definitely go mad, and then the situation in Yunzhou would become uncontrollable.

We might all end up on Xia Country’s hit list.”

“Besides, this Die Lian is quite capable; using her to restrain certain people from the Great Shang Dynasty could have a good effect,” he added.

Killing Die Lian would not do, as then Xia Country would frantically search for him, which would be extremely disadvantageous to him.

On the contrary, Die Lian would want to continue subduing him, so she would not publicize his existence.

During these days, Sikong Jing had also chatted with Die Lian and was surprised to discover that the princess had a strong ability to command troops.

It would not be so easy for the forces of the Great Shang Dynasty to fight when the time came.

The more chaotic Yunzhou was, the better it was for Sikong Jing.

“Let’s go, we’re leaving the Dark Dragon Mountain Range,” Sikong Jing ordered.

…

The day after Sikong Jing left, the Beast Tide completely subsided, and the Dark Dragon Mountain Range returned to peace.

Princess Die Lian and the strong practitioners of Xia Country burst out from the horse corpses.

After resting for two or three days, Princess Die Lian had regained some of her strength within the belly of a horse, and she immediately rushed toward the war horse where Sikong Jing had been and viciously slashed it open.

Her eyes widened in vain, where there was no one inside.

The other Xia Country strong practitioners also checked the horse corpses where the hundred thousand troops had been hidden, but they didn’t find anyone.

After a while, one of the Xia Country experts reported, “Your Highness, we have found traces left by Sikong Jing’s hundred thousand troops; they must have broken free from the horses and left a day ago.”

Upon hearing this, Princess Die Lian almost spat out a mouthful of blood in fury, “It’s been a day, dammit.”

“Your Highness?

Should we pursue?” asked one of the Xia Country strong practitioners.

“Chase what?

A day has already passed, how can we still chase, are you all incompetent?

A whole hundred thousand people left, and you didn’t detect even a hint of their presence while inside the horse bellies?” Princess Die Lian furiously berated them.

The Xia Country strong practitioners twitched their lips; they were afraid of the Beast Tide.

One misstep could have destroyed the entire army.

Hidden inside the horse bellies, they had to keep their breath completely concealed, not daring to reveal the slightest bit; how could they detect anything outside?

Clutching her fists tightly, Princess Die Lian said hatefully, “Let’s hurry and find our Great Daxia’s main army to see how many people are left.”

Two hours later, the Xia Country’s main army that had entered the Dark Dragon Mountain gathered together, with only two million alive, nearly twice as many were dead, suffering immense losses.

Princess Die Lian’s fingers turned pale as she clenched them, “Sikong Jing, I must…

subdue him!”

Defeated, defeated, defeated…

From the first day that Sikong Jing appeared, she had been constantly defeated.

The proud Princess of Daxia, hailed as the future Commander of Daxia, had been tormentingly brought to the brink of death by the obscure Sikong Jing.

Not only had she failed to avenge her Eldest Imperial Brother, but she had also suffered heavy losses.

What was most infuriating was that she had been held hostage in his hands for several days, subjected to his whims of scolding or beating whenever he pleased.

“Your Highness, should we issue a warrant for his arrest now?” a middle-aged man in golden armor, Han Sheng, inquired.

“No…”

Xia Dalian declared without hesitation, “No matter what, Sikong Jing has become disillusioned with Shang Country.”

“I don’t want him dead, such talent must be utilized for our Daxia.”

“Issuing a warrant would only make him serve Shang Country again.”

Everyone understood, the disillusioned Sikong Jing certainly had no fondness for Shang Country, yet subduing him was not impossible.

Although everyone hated Sikong Jing intensely, they could not help but admire him.

Below the Transcendents, ten thousand trash City Guards, who else could accomplish the annihilation of two million troops from Xia Country like Sikong Jing did?

It could be said that this battle was Sikong Jing’s miracle.

“What has happened these days must not be disclosed.”

Everyone understood even more that Princess Die Lian’s disastrous defeat, if leaked, would utterly devastate Daxia’s morale and the nation’s dignity.

Moreover, since she had been held hostage for several days, any insane rumors would be indelible.

“Fortunately, Sikong Jing was still decent and did nothing indecent to Her Highness.”

Another middle-aged man in golden armor said, still in shock.

As he spoke, Xia Dalian’s expression suddenly stiffened.

It was not just that he did nothing inappropriate; he simply never saw me as a woman.

Am I that unattractive?

Bastard!

…

A few days later, Sikong Jing arrived at the edge of Dark Dragon Mountain Range with a hundred thousand troops and the people of Jin Sect.

However, they did not immediately leave but stopped there.

“Brother, you can’t leave Dark Dragon Mountain Range for now.

I will return to the Imperial City to gather information first,” Sui Yu said.

Even now, Sikong Jing did not know why Yang Tianmo had sent Sui Yu to face certain death, whether it was because his relation with him had been exposed, or some other reason.

Because of this, Sui Yu needed to return to the Imperial City first to secretly investigate everything.

If it really was exposed, then Sikong Jing would have to prepare for other eventualities.

It was even possible that he might truly have to seek refuge with Daxia.

Sparing Xia Dalian’s life was also a backup plan Sikong Jing left for himself and his family.

Sikong Jing solemnly said, “No matter what, you must survive.”

After staring coldly at Sikong Jing for a few moments, Sui Yu swiftly departed, mounting a recently captured demon beast and flying rapidly toward the Great Shang Imperial City.

The other people from Jin Sect stayed with Sikong Jing, waiting for news from Sui Yu.

Two days later, at Great Shang Imperial City.

Sui Family Master, Sui Wenzhan, the father of Sui Yu, stood at the entrance of the Side-by-side Prince Mansion.

In front of him stood a handsome man and a beautiful woman, Yuwen Guan and Yan Ruyu.

“Divine General Prince, Ninth Princess, what exactly is the situation with my son, Sui Yu?” Sui Wenzhan asked in a lowered voice.
