Berserk God of War

118: Chapter 118: Shameless Old Ruffian 118: Chapter 118: Shameless Old Ruffian Suddenly, Sikong Jing came with fury in his eyes and shouted at the two hundred thousand-strong army, “Mo Yang, your real opportunity to distinguish yourself has come.

The people from the Jin Sect are no longer in danger for now.

Kill the Xia Country army behind us, and your contribution will be indispensable.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing led his hundred thousand troops, not looking back as they charged towards the distance.

Mo Yang stood frozen, indeed seeing thousands chasing and killing their way out after Sikong Jing.

At that moment, Mo Yang’s mind was filled only with thoughts of great achievements, of everything that Sikong Jing had mentioned, so he subconsciously shouted, “Charge at them all, kill these Xia Country soldiers!”

Damn it, he had to make a showing no matter what; otherwise, Sikong Jing would tear him to pieces.

And just when Mo Yang was leading two hundred thousand troops to face the few thousand of the Xia Country’s main force, a furious roar came from the other side.

“A bunch of trash, get out of my way.”

In the blink of an eye, screams rose from the two hundred thousand-strong army, blown into dregs by the few thousand of the Xia Country’s main force.

In just a dozen breaths’ time, a bloody path had been cleaved.

And these Xia Country main forces paid no attention to Mo Yang, continuing the pursuit to kill Sikong Jing’s hundred thousand troops.

Mo Yang, looking at the bloodshed on the ground and the terrifying momentum of the few thousand from the Xia Country’s main force, stood frozen in place, his legs trembling uncontrollably.

“Damn it, Sikong Jing is using me as a shield!”

It was only then that Mo Yang realized that these few thousand from the Xia Country’s main force were virtually invincible, and Sikong Jing’s earlier words were just using him to delay their pursuit—damn!

If it wasn’t for his good luck, Mo Yang would have been killed in the charge too.

Ahead, Ah Hu rode his horse frantically, taking a look behind him before saying, “Brother Sikong, Mo Yang is so useless, he only managed to block them for a moment.

What should we do?”

If they continued to be chased like this, they would all be done for.

“No worries, the Xia Country main force won’t dare to chase too far.”

“They don’t know that Mo Yang is useless.

They will definitely fear the entry of the two hundred thousand-strong army into the city.”

Sikong Jing appeared extremely calm.

Indeed, as he had predicted, after chasing for over ten kilometers, the Xia Country’s few thousand main forces received the order to return to the city.

However, on their way back to the city, they slaughtered thousands more of Mo Yang’s men to vent their frustration.

We’ve been saved…

The hundred thousand troops heaved a long sigh of relief and, following Sikong Jing, reined in their horses, looking intently towards the direction of Yanyun City, listening to the shouts of killing there, their expressions changing.

One by one, they all watched Sikong Jing at the forefront, who seemed to predict events with a godlike accuracy.

Clenching their fists, the hundred thousand people, all just small City Guards, never thought they would experience such an exciting and thrilling day.

“Brother Sikong, what do we do next?”

Although the matter had come to an end for the time being, there were still many hidden dangers, especially since that old devil Mo Yang was not yet dead.

Sikong Jing did not answer but looked in another direction, “Someone else is coming.”

Following his gaze upon hearing this, everyone indeed saw tens of thousands of troops approaching.

However, they did not seem to be from any of the other cities within Yunzhou, and the direction was from…

the Border Battle City.

Could it be the elite troops of the Border Battle City?

As this tens of thousands-strong force approached, Old Zhang’s eyes narrowed, “It’s the Commander of Yunzhou Battle Mansion’s Personal Soldiers.”

Upon a clearer view, they were not the elites of the Border Battle City.

Everyone’s heart sank.

A new trouble had arrived.

How would Sikong Jing deal with the Commander of Yunzhou Battle Mansion next?

Previously, drawing his sword against Mo Yang, for whatever reason, was no trivial matter.

At the same time, within the ranks of the Commander’s Personal Soldiers.

The leader was a lean-faced middle-aged man named Fan Zhong, who was, in fact, the respected Commander of the Yunzhou Battle Mansion.

“Lord Fan, with Xia Country’s vast army pressing against our borders, their momentum fierce and overwhelming, the Border Battle City simply isn’t willing or able to spare us their elite troops.

How are we supposed to rescue the people of Jin Sect?”

Beside Fan Zhong, there followed two Deputy Commanders.

They were also well aware that the City Guards of the various cities were no match for taking Yanyun City, and they could only hope to borrow troops from the Border Battle City.

But they had returned dejectedly without managing to borrow even a single soldier.

Eight days had passed, and if the people of Jin Sect had died within Yanyun City, each one of them would be finished.

Fan Zhong’s face was extremely grave, filled with immense irritation.

But suddenly, his eyes bulged, witnessing a river of blood outside Yanyun City, and what he couldn’t believe was that the city gate had been broken through, violently at that.

“What what what…

Who has breached Yanyun City?” The eyes of the two Deputy Commanders were also wide with disbelief.

“Lord Fan ah.”

Just then, an aged voice came from outside Yanyun City, as Mo Yang led the surviving troops in a charge towards them.

Fan Zhong and his men stared dumbfounded at him.

It couldn’t be that he had broken through the city, could it?

At that moment, Mo Yang drew closer.

Before he could speak, Fan Zhong hurriedly inquired, “Mo Yang, what’s happened with Yanyun City, who has breached the Yanyun City Gate?”

Upon hearing the question, Mo Yang straightened his face, his gaze slowly sweeping over the shocked and expectant crowd as he declared with emphasis, “Report to Lord Fan, it was indeed this lowly one who broke through the city gate.”

At this declaration, tens of thousands of Personal Soldiers of the Commanders were utterly stunned.

How could this be possible?

“My Ni Ma…”

Afar, Ah Hu and the others near Sikong Jing cursed in unison, having seen shameless, but never someone this shameless.

“Brother Sikong, let’s go and kill him now.”

“Right, let’s slay this shameless old thief, I want to go to his house and kill his mother as well.”

The tens of thousands of soldiers, red-faced with rage, had barely achieved a once-in-a-lifetime feat, only for Mo Yang to try to snatch it away.

But Sikong Jing maintained an unusual composure, his face wearing a faint smile, shaking his head without a word.

Meanwhile, Mo Yang looked towards Sikong Jing’s direction with pride, puffing up his chest with supreme confidence.

Although I was dealt a harsh blow by you all, I’m seizing the credit now, what can you do about it?

You draw your swords against me, the Deputy Commander, now you only have to willingly hand over the credit to me to quell the accusations of a rebel army.

Otherwise, it will end in mutual destruction.

If you don’t give me the credit, I will accuse you, heh heh, let’s see who can gain the advantage then?

On this side, after being dumbfounded for a good while, Fan Zhong finally asked, “Mo Yang, how did you breach Yanyun City?”

Mo Yang had already prepared an answer for this question and immediately responded, “I received an urgent report from within the city, saying the Lords from Jin Sect were in danger.

I acted immediately, feeding the warhorses frenzy medicine, causing them to charge at the city gates.”

“That’s how the city gate was trampled open by the herd of horses.”

“Following that, I led the troops into the city, forcing Xia Country’s main force to abandon the siege of the Lords from Jin Sect.

Then I decisively fought my way back out of the city, and soon after that, Lord Fan arrived.”

Mo Yang’s words flew fervently, his tale unnervingly thrilling.

And indeed, Fan Zhong and the rest noticed the pile of horse carcasses heaped like mountains at the city gate.

But still, they stared at Mo Yang as if looking at a monster.

Could this really be his doing?

How could that be, who doesn’t know what a scoundrel Mo Yang is?

“And another thing, Lord Fan.” Mo Yang continued, “Humph, had it not been for Sikong Jing, the Commander of Yunye City defying orders and fleeing with his troops at the last moment, our losses wouldn’t have been so grievous.

This Sikong Jing deserves death a thousand times over.”

As everyone was shocked, suddenly Mo Yang lashed out furiously, biting towards Sikong Jing.
