Berserk God of War

114: Chapter 114: Princess Die Lian 114: Chapter 114: Princess Die Lian Everyone was stunned at the sight of Sikong Jing standing tall atop his horse.

No matter which side they were on, everyone was dumbfounded.

This young man had actually slapped Mo Yang right in the face—had he gone mad?

Mo Yang himself was similarly stunned, clutching his old face, and roared in rage, “Boy, you dare to slap me?

I’ll kill you!”

Having said that, he attempted to leap into the air.

But just at that moment, Sikong Jing forcefully stamped down on the horse’s head, causing its hindquarters to shoot up abruptly.

Caught off guard, Mo Yang was sent flying off.

He turned into a rolling gourd on the ground, but being an Earth Realm Master, Mo Yang sprang up once again.

“Spear!”

In midair, Sikong Jing stretched out his hand, and the long spear that had been planted in the ground buzzed as it swiftly flew toward him.

At the same time, it heavily collided with Mo Yang.

The latter, who had just leapt up, was struck squarely by the long spear, cried out in pain, and rolled on the ground once more.

The long spear then became a rotating windmill, spinning ceaselessly in the air.

Sikong Jing turned around and caught the spear accurately, settling back atop his warhorse.

He said to Mo Yang, clutching his chest, “You might have eaten more salt than the rice I have, but the people I’ve killed are a thousand times, a million times more numerous than yours.”

“It doesn’t matter if you want to steal my credit, but to abandon the people of Jin Sect without care, you shall be executed!”

An explosive roar erupted from Sikong Jing as he suddenly shouted, “Generals, heed my command, break out of the camp and regroup with a hundred thousand troops.”

After saying that, he turned his horse around and charged back.

The dumbstruck crowd opened their mouths but then, led by Ah Hu and Old Zhang, quickly followed Sikong Jing in his assault.

They were all disoriented, especially the Qingyun City officers who had just joined them.

They felt as though their bodies no longer belonged to them, as if they had done something terrifying.

Good heavens, Brother Sikong was rebelling against Deputy Commander Mo Yang—was this really okay?

Even the Qingyun City officers found themselves in a difficult position; if they didn’t follow, they would be left with no way out.

With Mo Yang’s temperament, how could he possibly let them go?

“Kill!”

Sikong Jing swept his long spear, skewering the knights who blocked their way, and behind him, thousands of officers gathered, blasting away all the cavalry that stood in their way and breaking out of the camp.

In an instant, the camp was thrown into chaos!

Many of the Yunzhou soldiers who didn’t understand the situation watched this thousand-man troop and thought to themselves, “What on earth is happening?”

Mo Yang, wanting to steal Sikong Jing’s credit, naturally did not let all the soldiers know, so most of them just stood around dumbfounded.

Inside the camp, Mo Yang came to his senses and, watching the dust kicked up by Sikong Jing and the others as they charged away, roared in anger, “Bastards, they are a rebel army.

All officers rally; we must subdue the rebels.”

It was then that the two hundred thousand troops in the camp snapped to attention and hurried to prepare.

On this side, Sikong Jing had already returned to the forefront of his hundred thousand strong, and with a command, declared, “Deputy Commander Mo Yang is a man of Xia Country.

Follow me back, and let’s execute Mo Yang.”

You call me a rebel, so I shall accuse you of the same—what goes around comes around.

The hundred thousand troops were deeply shaken upon hearing this.

The Qingyun City soldiers, who had yet to fully integrate into the troop, had their eyes turn red.

Their City Guard General, Xie Hong, was a man of Xia Country, and he had killed many of their brothers.

Now, even Mo Yang was revealed to be from Xia Country—he truly deserved to die.

“Kill them!”

A battle cry shook the heavens and earth, and a hundred thousand troops surged like a tidal wave towards the camp.

At this time, the soldiers within the camp were still unprepared and were immediately overrun.

However, Mo Yang’s several thousand cavalry were already ready to meet the charge.

Mo Yang, with a cold voice, declared, “What of a hundred thousand soldiers?

They are but the minor City Guards of Yunye City and Qingyun City, not comparable to my several thousands of elite cavalry.

In terms of Martial Arts Realm, they are a level below.”

Those thousands of cavalry were all Dark Realm Masters, whereas Sikong Jing had only a thousand generals skilled in Dark Energy, with the rest being minor Bright Realm soldiers.

The difference between them was immense!

However, the response that came was Sikong Jing’s icy retort, “If realm alone were decisive on the battlefield, what use would there be for a commander?

What need for soldiers’ morale?

War is not a series of one-on-one fights.”

Boom…

As his words ended with impact, of the hundred thousand soldiers, fifty thousand were wholly convinced by Sikong Jing, and fifty thousand charged with fury.

Their actions were surprisingly unified, and when they stormed into Mo Yang’s several thousands of cavalry, they swept through like a hot knife through butter.

Screams filled the air—what use were those thousands of Dark Energy experts?

In an instant, they collapsed completely, as fragile as paper.

The arrogant Mo Yang was blown away, and the others were scattered like fireworks.

Some were dismounted and trampled into meat paste, others were blasted away, while yet others turned to flee, from a force that had gathered two hundred thousand troops.

But it was to no avail.

The hundred thousand soldiers had formed a single entity, leaving only wails in their wake.

Never mind facing two to one; even if the camp had ten times more soldiers, without proper preparation, they would only be torn to shreds under Sikong Jing’s thundering iron hooves.

…

The chaos beneath Yanyun City left the Xia Country Golden-armored Generals stationed atop the city walls aghast.

Two middle-aged men in golden armor came together, one of them saying, “What the hell are they doing?

Turning on each other?”

The other replied, “Should we march out of the city and wipe them out in one fell swoop?”

The first one in golden armor frowned, shaking his head, “I’m worried it might be a ruse.

Let’s report this to Princess Die Lian first.”

Inside Yanyun City, Tianlong Villa.

The villa was engulfed in raucous clashes, with terrifying True Qi colliding in the sky, marking the confrontation of Transcendent Strong People above the Heaven Realm.

Outside the villa, in an elegant tavern, a stunning woman clad in tight-fitting attire stood on the pavilion, peering out the window towards Tianlong Villa.

She was none other than Xia Country’s Princess Die Lian.

Even Yan Ruyu was unaware that the visitors to Tianlong Villa included not only the Eldest Prince of Xia Country but also a princess.

But during Sui Yu’s slaughter at Tianlong Villa, Princess Die Lian was not present in the villa; she had been out enjoying the sights of the city.

Thus, she narrowly escaped with her life.

Now, within Yanyun City, the Xia Country’s forces were naturally led by her.

“Princess, Tianlong Villa should be overtaken soon, and shortly we can avenge the Eldest Imperial Brother,” said a formidable female guard standing beside Princess Die Lian, radiating an extremely strong aura.

The words above were hers.

Upon hearing this, Princess Die Lian replied, “The one who killed my Eldest Imperial Brother is indeed a fine adversary, possessing both outstanding martial prowess and command capabilities.

It’s taken me a full eight days to take control.”

Eight days had passed since the death of the Eldest Prince.

The female guard’s expression grew solemn.

Others might not know, but as Princess Die Lian’s personal guard, she was well aware that Princess Die Lian was not the delicate figure rumored outside, but extraordinarily strong.

Not only in Martial Arts but also her command ability was among the top in Xia Country.

If Princess Die Lian had been present when Great Shang Brocate Gate assaulted Tianlong Villa, they wouldn’t have succeeded so easily.

Yet this time, the commander of Brocate Gate, under such adversity, managed to rally the people of the Great Shang Dynasty inside the villa and hold out for a full eight days.

In the mind of the female guard, it was nothing short of incredible.

“Do we have any intelligence on the commander of Brocate Gate inside?” Princess Die Lian asked, for she still did not know who had killed her Eldest Imperial Brother.
