Berserk God of War

110: Chapter 110: After Reconciliation, I’ll Take Your Head 110: Chapter 110: After Reconciliation, I’ll Take Your Head Sikong Jing appeared by Xing E’s side, whose eyes bulged, his pupils gradually dilating.

The next instant, Sikong Jing drew his spear and chopped off Xing E’s head, then raised it high and shouted to everyone, “Those who surrender will not be killed!”

This scene was truly shocking and terrifying.

Chou Ye was pulled from his horse, and now no one could find where he was; perhaps he had already been trampled into pieces by iron hooves.

Big chief hunter Xing E, had his head directly chopped off.

Nearly thirty thousand soldiers felt their courage dissipate, their will to fight vanished without a trace, their hands trembling while gripping their weapons.

“Drop your weapons, those who surrender will not be killed!” Sikong Jing shouted again.

Thud thud thud…

The sounds of weapons being dropped followed one after another, accompanied by the fearful voices, “I surrender, don’t kill me.”

Then, Ah Hu and Old Zhang quickly caught on and led three thousand soldiers to start patrolling and roaring.

“Drop your weapons, those who surrender will not be killed.”

And those who tried to flee were directly cut down from their horses by them.

Despite being outnumbered by ten to one, under the three thousand, they were like trapped beasts, with no one daring to fight.

In less than a quarter of an hour, everyone had surrendered, and the confiscated weapons piled up like mountains.

Sitting on the ground with gray faces, they were still a bit dazed, wondering how they had just left Yunye City and all of a sudden found themselves as prisoners, and those who had subdued them were the previously scorned old, weak, sick, and disabled.

Suddenly, someone reported, “Commander Sikong, we’ve found Chou Ye.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing lifted his head and said coldly, “Tie him up and bring him here.”

Chou Ye was lucky, not having been trampled into a pulp by iron hooves; he was still very much alive.

He was just black and blue, his eyes full of fear and rage.

When he was tied up and brought before Sikong Jing, Chou Ye, grinding his teeth, roared, “Audacious criminal, how dare you commit insubordination?

This is the crime of a rebel army; you are rebelling.”

He himself was also bewildered; in less than a day, he had been taken down.

And how had the three thousand old, weak, sick, and disabled metamorphosed, and how were they able to bring nearly thirty thousand of his men to such a sorry state?

Chou Ye racked his brains, but even if he scratched his scalp raw, he couldn’t understand.

Regardless, what Sikong Jing was doing now amounted to rebellion.

As soon as these words were spoken, the surroundings suddenly became agitated; it was only then that the three thousand old, weak, sick, and disabled realized that this battle had been between their own people, and their opponent was Chou Ye, the legitimate general.

Seeing this, Chou Ye immediately got excited and burst into a nasty laugh, “You’d better lay down your weapons, otherwise, this is not just the crime of beheading, but one that will implicate all your extended family.”

This sentence intensified the commotion and chilled people to the bone.

Slap!

And just as Chou Ye was smugly content, Sikong Jing slapped him again.

Chou Ye, infuriated, bellowed, “Criminal, you son of a bitch, you’re going to be implicated with all your family, and yet you dare to hit me, believe it or not, I will report this right now, and have you executed, have your whole family executed.”

To this barrage of threats, Sikong Jing simply shrugged, “You, will you report this right now?”

Caught off guard again, who would he report to when he was tied up?

“If you don’t report, who knows that I’ve rebelled against you?”

Sikong Jing said indifferently, “Moreover, I haven’t rebelled.

Chou Ye, you are not dead, how can it be said that I have rebelled?”

People looked at each other, not understanding what Sikong Jing was talking about.

The next moment, Sikong Jing casually pointed his spear at Chou Ye’s throat, raised an eyebrow, and asked, “Do you choose to die or to live?”

Instantly, Chou Ye was dumbstruck; he asked in fear, “What do you mean?”

“It’s simple; none of this ever happened.

Xing E was killed by the people of Iron Horse Village.”

“And you are still the general of Yunye City, but you must obey my orders.”

Sikong Jing explained, his killing intent enveloping Chou Ye.

His face crazily shifted before he caught himself, Chou Ye incredulously exclaimed, “You want me to be your puppet, nominally leading the troops, while you are the real commander?”

“Right,” Sikong Jing replied.

“In your dreams…

Let’s talk this over.”

Chou Ye was about to retort, but Sikong Jing’s long spear was already pointed at him; a refusal meant death, with no second option.

And this criminal was too ruthless and cruel, killing without batting an eye.

Sikong Jing watched him with a smile, “Now, announce to everyone that we have reconciled.”

“Gurgle…”

Seeing the cold light on the spear tip at his throat, Chou Ye knew that struggling any further was truly hopeless, so he gritted his teeth and agreed.

Afterward, under the watchful eyes of everyone, he announced to nearly thirty thousand soldiers.

“This was a misunderstanding, Brother Sikong and I have reconciled.”

“And given Brother Sikong’s exceptional ability to lead troops, all subsequent actions will be under his command.”

A stir went through the crowd, some shifted their gazes, but most let out a long sigh of relief.

They didn’t care who was the commander, as long as they survived.

Moreover, since Chou Ye had ordered it, they had no choice but to obey.

At the same time, the three thousand infirm and weak also breathed a sigh of relief; reconciliation meant they were no longer rebels, and wouldn’t be in trouble.

Following this, Sikong Jing stood up and ordered everyone to retrieve their weapons and continue marching.

When the thirty thousand men stepped into Iron Horse Ridge, they indeed saw blood everywhere; all of Iron Horse Village was corpses, and the restless hearts completely settled down, realizing the three thousand infirm and weak were not bluffing.

Then, Sikong Jing gave another order, seizing all the warhorses within Iron Horse Village, and urged the horses to advance quickly.

The three thousand infirm and weak gathered around Sikong Jing, their spirits high.

When they left, they were sent to die, treated like pigs and dogs, but now they return, heads high, and it was all thanks to Sikong Jing’s presence.

In their eyes, there was nothing but awe.

That night, the thirty thousand soldiers from Yunye City camped near Yuntie Forest not far from Iron Horse Ridge.

The forest was quiet, lit only by the campfires flickering everywhere.

Chou Ye and a dozen trusted aides huddled together.

One of the aides said, “General Chou, are we just going to let this go?”

They were all indignant, why should they clean up after Sikong Jing’s betrayal and still follow his orders.

That’s what rebellion was; if they reported it, his whole family would die.

“Let it go?

How could we possibly let it go!”

Chou Ye’s voice was chilling to the ultimate, and as he looked in Sikong Jing’s direction, he revealed a sinister smile, “Heh, this kid is still too young.

He thinks a threat is enough to scare me?”

“When we reach Yanyun City, we will report him to the Commander of Yunzhou.”

The aides’ eyes flashed with cold light, and the one who spoke earlier responded, “By then, aside from those three thousand worthless infirm and weak, everyone will be our witness, and his crime of rebellion will surely be sentenced to death.”

Everyone had seen Sikong Jing turn on them, and anyone could testify.

“Unfortunately, you won’t have the chance.”

However, just as Chou Ye and the others were cackling sinisterly, a slightly eerie voice rang out.

All of them had goosebumps, and upon looking up, they saw Sikong Jing, Ah Hu, and Old Zhang.

Bang, bang, bang…

Suddenly, campfires in the camp banged and went out completely.

The thirty thousand men let out cries of alarm, “An attack, is it an attack?”

In the darkness, Sikong Jing stared at Chou Ye and the others, “I spared your life earlier just to pacify the thirty thousand soldiers; now that they think we have reconciled, you can go ahead and die.”
