Berserk God of War

126: Chapter 126: Devouring the Beast Heart, The Princess as a Pledge 126: Chapter 126: Devouring the Beast Heart, The Princess as a Pledge “Ah Hong, what on earth has gotten into you?” Xia Dalian frantically tried to soothe the warhorse beneath her.

But what she didn’t know was that inside the Transcendent Warhorse, Sikong Jing had bitten into its heart, and was now crazily sucking its blood…

The Transcendent Warhorse, not feeling Xia Dalian’s attempts to calm it, became even more frantic, continually crashing around.

Xia Dalian wanted to get off the horse, but the demon beasts, fearless and ferocious in their assault, forced her to grit her teeth and hold onto the warhorse.

She was like a small pendant on the Transcendent Warhorse, swaying in the wind…

Boom, boom, boom…

Inside the Transcendent Warhorse, Sikong Jing’s True Qi roared, and then it broke through.

He ascended to the Human Realm, and then the Human Realm First Level, Second Level, Third Level… He drained the essence blood from the heart of the Transcendent Warhorse, took a look at its inner core, and bit down again!

The True Qi inside his body went crazy again, spinning like a fierce beast.

His Dantian roared and swallowed.

Outside, the Transcendent Warhorse was dead, convulsing repeatedly on the ground.

Many demon beasts also died, crushed to death right where they were by the last frenzied strength of the Transcendent Warhorse.

All that the onlookers saw was a field of beast corpses.

Finally, there was calm.

Xia Dalian stood on the horse’s corpse, staring blankly at her surroundings, unable to comprehend everything.

Rip…

Suddenly, the body of the Transcendent Warhorse split open.

A figure drenched in fresh blood emerged through the horse’s corpse, breaking out of the carcass.

He grabbed the bewildered Xia Dalian in one move, and whispered with a low laugh, “Princess of Xia Country, you are now my hostage.”

The voice was terrifyingly hoarse, and given the surrounding carnage, Sikong Jing seemed like a horrific demon.

All around, silence reigned, and everyone stared at the scene, incredulous.

“Brother!”

Finally, Sui Yu’s eyes widened in disbelief, staring at Sikong Jing who had emerged from within the Transcendent Warhorse.

“Brother Sikong?”

Ah Hu and Old Zhang’s pupils contracted violently.

Although they did not understand why the demon beasts had been fighting chaotically just now, to be swallowed by a Transcendent Demon Beast and still be alive was incredulous.

Is Brother Sikong still human?

“Commander Sikong.” Ten thousand soldiers exclaimed one after another, their eyes alight with intense admiration.

“Your Highness, the Princess…”

The strong warriors of Xia Country were also stunned as the man they thought was certain to die had just crawled out of the horse carcass and was now holding the Princess.

After their shock, no one dared to hesitate, and they frantically broke through, trying to rescue Xia Dalian.

However, Sikong Jing, drenched in blood, held Xia Dalian and spun around abruptly, his bloodied eyes warning, “Take one more step forward, and your Princess here will join your Eldest Prince in Hell.”

In an instant, the warriors of Xia Country stopped in their tracks, howling with rage.

Xia Dalian was also stunned, her eyes wide open.

It was only at this moment that she finally reacted, screaming, “You bastard, let go of me!”

She struggled madly, but already injured from the attack of the Transcendent Warhorse and various demon beasts, Sikong Jing struck her several times accurately at key points on her body.

“Agh…”

A gush of fresh blood spurted out, and Xia Dalian felt completely weak, her vital meridians struck by Sikong Jing.

If she hadn’t been injured, with Sikong Jing’s realm, naturally he would have no effect on her.

But she was gravely injured; Sikong Jing’s several palms had nearly cost her half her life.

In the end, Xia Dalian could only collapse weakly into Sikong Jing’s embrace, staring at him with eyes filled with resentment.

If looks could kill, Sikong Jing would have died many times over.

At this moment, Sikong Jing looked down and said, “Princess Die Lian, you’d better not struggle, otherwise I’m afraid I won’t be able to control myself from twisting your neck.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing carried Xia Dalian and leaped into the midst of a hundred thousand soldiers.

He threw Xia Dalian onto a horse and then mounted the warhorse himself, looking coldly at the warriors of Xia Country and asked, “Do you want your princess’s life or not?”

As the words fell, Sui Yuli, who had come to his senses, charged to Sikong Jing’s side.

Transcendent True Qi surged skywards as he scanned the surroundings.

Still guarding Sikong Jing.

The expressions on the faces of Xia Country’s warriors turned extremely ugly.

They could never have expected things to turn out this way and couldn’t figure out why the demon beasts would suddenly rebel.

And now what should they do?

If the princess died, they would all be executed.

This Sikong Jing might be weak in the Martial Arts Realm, but he was definitely ruthless and certainly wouldn’t go easy just because she was a princess.

At that moment, a golden-armored middle-aged man shouted lowly, “Release the princess, and I’ll let you leave.”

Apart from compromise, the Xia Country’s warriors had no other choice.

But as soon as the golden-armored middle-aged man’s voice fell, Xia Dalian, sitting on Sikong Jing’s warhorse, suddenly lifted her head and said fiercely, “Don’t let them go.

They don’t dare to kill me, they don’t have the guts.”

With intense cold light in her eyes, Xia Dalian stared at Sikong Jing and said, “If you kill me, neither my Great Daxia nor your Great Shang Dynasty will have a place for you, nor will there be a place for the hundred thousand soldiers behind you.”

As soon as she said this, the corner of Sui Yuli’s mouth twitched; indeed, that was the truth.

Having killed the Eldest Prince of Xia Country, I was already abandoned by the Great Shang Dynasty.

If the Princess of Xia Country is killed, even if we return to Yunzhou, what awaits Sikong Jing and the hundred thousand men will be nothing but the slaughtering blade of the Great Shang Dynasty.

“Sikong Jing, I still say the same thing, surrender to Great Daxia.”

Xia Dalian remained fixated on Sikong Jing, staring at him close at hand, and said with a scornful laugh, “Otherwise, we’ll just sit here and wait.”

“As soon as the message gets out, my Great Daxia will send more masters to rescue me, and might even lead troops directly into Yunzhou, while your Great Shang Dynasty…

hahahaha.”

Her sharp laughter said it all; Sikong Jing simply couldn’t outlast her.

Xia Country would send people to rescue, but the Great Shang Dynasty would only watch Sikong Jing and all his men die!

Of course Sikong Jing understood this reasoning.

He took a deep breath and asked, “Ah Hu, bro, what’s the closest mountain range from here?

I want the one with the most demon beasts, the one that makes people think twice.”

Ah Hu was stunned for a moment, then replied in a low voice, “It’s the Dark Dragon Mountain Range that spans between Yunzhou and Xia Country.”

“Which direction is the closest?” Sikong Jing asked again.

Ah Hu replied once more, “From the breach we made in the Yanyun City Gate, head northeast.

The journey is about fifty kilometers.”

Sikong Jing closed his eyes deeply, then suddenly opened them and said, “Good, everyone follow me, we’ll head into the Dark Dragon Mountain Range.”

His voice sent a great shudder through all the soldiers, who then saw Sikong Jing pointing his long spear at the warriors of Xia Country and shouting, “If you dare to block our way, I’ll start by severing one of your princess’s arms.”

Having said that, Sikong Jing held the spear in one hand and gripped Xia Dalian’s arm with the other, riding forward.

However, the warriors of Xia Country clenched their teeth and blocked Sikong Jing’s path, refusing to move.

Crack…

Against that, Sikong Jing showed no mercy, and coldly dislocated one of Xia Dalian’s arms.

Then, amid Xia Dalian’s cries of pain and the roars of rage from Xia Country’s warriors, Sikong Jing said coldly, “Don’t force me to kill.

If Princess Die Lian dies, you’ll have no place to call home as well.”

The warriors of Xia Country turned pale but ultimately clenched their fists and cleared a path for Sikong Jing and the others.
