Berserk God of War

101: Chapter 101: Origin 101: Chapter 101: Origin Sikong Jing smiled as he approached, “Sui Yu, you just performed quite well.”

Given the current circumstances, they couldn’t appear too familiar in front of others, and they had had no prior communication; merely with a glance from Sikong Jing, Sui Yu knew what to do, and he did it to perfection.

“Hehe…”

Sui Yu instantly laughed, like a happy child, nowhere resembling the terrifying figure who had suppressed Duan Chengshan in the arena.

At this moment, Su Yuexi puffed up her cheeks, looking at Mei Xiaofang with dissatisfaction, “Mother, can’t you trust Brother Jing a little more?

Just now this brother has been calling me sister-in-law all along.”

While saying “sister-in-law,” Su Yuexi realized what that implied and blushed deeply.

Being called sister-in-law felt so embarrassing.

There was also a strange feeling, like being taken by Brother Jing to meet the family, like an awkward bride meeting her in-laws, a bit nervous.

To this, Mei Xiaofang naturally had no response.

As for the so-called mistrust from the mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sikong Jing had long been accustomed to it, and even found it somewhat amusing.

He didn’t say much or reveal anything, instead, he said to Sui Yu again, “We’ll talk about our business later, your sister-in-law and I need to go back to the Su Residence immediately, there’s an old dog that should be dealt with too.”

“Old dog?

Do you want me to…”

Before Sui Yu could finish, Sikong Jing shook his head, interrupting, “No need, it’s just a small fry.”

The old dog he referred to was, of course, Su Xuefeng.

He hadn’t dealt with it before because his martial realm was not strong enough, and his father-in-law was seriously injured.

Now that even the Three Great Families had been destroyed, naturally, he would no longer leave Su Xuefeng to harm his own family.

Upon hearing this, Su Zhenglong’s entire body shook.

He understood Sikong Jing’s meaning; was it finally time to take this step?

Sui Yu left, and the family of four also returned to the Su Residence.

And right at the entrance, they ran into Su Xuefeng and Su Zhengtao, of course, along with Su Yang and Su Yun, the siblings, leading their families in an attempt to flee.

If Sikong Jing had arrived a moment later, he surely wouldn’t have found anyone.

“Su Zhenglong, what are you going to do?

I’m still your father,” Su Xuefeng’s face turned pale as he saw the fierce quartet approaching.

He had wanted to flee precisely because he feared that Su Zhenglong and Sikong Jing would come back to kill him.

Who knew they would return so quickly?

He blamed his family; if not for their slow packing, how could they have gotten caught?

“Big brother, don’t do anything rash; we’ve already knelt and pleaded for mercy on your behalf,” Su Zhengtao’s legs also trembled with fear.

The scenes of the annihilation of the Three Great Families were still in their minds; this father-in-law and son-in-law duo was just too vicious.

Luckily, just a while ago, they had serendipitously pleaded on behalf of Su Zhenglong’s family.

But how could Su Zhenglong not know why they were pleading?

At the Martial Arts Arena, they had made it clear: they wanted to offer the City Lord, Sikong Jing’s prized possession.

If not for the timely arrival of Sikong Jing’s “little brother,” they likely would have been the first ones to turn coat, or even to kick them while they were down.

“We’ll talk inside!” Su Zhenglong, struggling to contain his fury, spoke coldly.

However, Su Xuefeng, with a cold face, bellowed, “I’m not going inside, I’m your father, why should I listen to you?”

Bang, bang…

Greeting Su Xuefeng and Su Zhengtao were two successive kicks from Sikong Jing, sending them flying miserably into the Su Residence.

If Sikong Jing had been the one to deal with the situation, by now, they would already be dead on the spot.

Shortly thereafter, the gates of the Su Residence slammed shut.

In the front courtyard of the Su Residence, Su Zhenglong closed his eyes deeply, his face contorting with struggle, and suddenly opened them to exclaim, “Since you are my father, why did you treat our family this way?”

His fists clenched so tight that they cracked, this was something he could never understand.

“Even if you favour my younger brother, I’m not trash, and Yue Xi is your granddaughter too.”

Unable to hold back his tears, Su Zhenglong wept.

For ten years, his family had endured such hardship, such overwhelming blows.

He had led the Su family to become one of the Four Great Families, exploded into fame across the city, bringing unparalleled glory to the Su family.

Could all that still not compare to Su Xuefeng’s favoritism towards his younger brother?

A twitch at the corner of his mouth, Su Xuefeng sneered, “In my eyes, you all are nothing but trash.”

“You better let me go, or I’ll ensure you bear the name of a patricide, making sure you and your family can never hold your heads up again.”

With a cold laugh, Su Xuefeng knew Su Zhenglong’s character all too well; he would never dare to kill him.

Thud…

However, at that moment, a long spear brutally pierced through Su Yang’s heart, blood splashing everywhere.

In an instant, Su Yang fell to the ground dead, utterly unbelievable!

“Xiao Yang…” Su Xuefeng’s sneer vanished as he, along with Su Zhengtao, screamed in frenzy.

Looking up, of course, it was Sikong Jing who had done the killing, both men roared, “Criminal, I’m going to fight you to the death.”

However, what greeted them was Sikong Jing’s icy long spear, sending them flying once again.

The spearhead then pointed at Su Yun’s throat, and he said coldly, “Being a villain filled with heinous crimes, of course, I wouldn’t let my father-in-law carry the name of a patricide.

But to kill those you value, I feel no psychological burden.”

Thud…

Another thrust of the spear pierced Su Yun’s throat.

With that, all three of Su Zhengtao’s children were dead!

But it wasn’t over yet; Sikong Jing’s spear was aimed once again at Su Zhengtao, his face sculpting a smile as demonic as a ghost’s.

“Stop…”

Upon seeing this, Su Xuefeng, despite risking his old life, charged at Sikong Jing, only to be kicked away with a single kick by Sikong Jing.

At this moment, Sikong Jing asked with a cold face, “Su Xuefeng, it seems you do have some familial love after all, you are so worried about your son dying.

But why are you so dismissive towards my father-in-law?”

Both sons, yet the disparity in treatment was too great, even Sikong Jing found it bizarre.

Was there, perhaps, a hidden secret?

Prostrate on the ground, trembling violently, Su Xuefeng still gritted his teeth and said, “I just couldn’t stand Su Zhenglong’s attitude of looking down on me, is that any of your business?”

Furious at his words, Mei Xiaofang retorted, “Old dog, when have we ever disregarded you?

We have always respected and honored you.”

Ten years ago, although Su Zhenglong slaughtered his way through many, it was always Su Xuefeng who hogged the limelight no matter the occasion.

“Since you said that, once Su Zhengtao is dead, you’ll have only one son left.”

“Then, only my father-in-law will be there to see you off on your final journey.

I’d like to see how you’d still show favoritism then.”

Sikong Jing’s voice grew colder as he raised his spear.

Seeing this, Su Zhengtao completely lost his mind and shouted loud, “Don’t kill me, Su Zhenglong isn’t my dad’s flesh and blood.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing abruptly stopped the spear.

Su Zhenglong’s eyes widened, Mei Xiaofang and Su Yuexi covered their mouths in disbelief, staring at Su Zhengtao, shocked.

And Su Xuefeng’s eyes also reddened, his old face twitching uncontrollably.

At that time, Su Zhengtao gazed at Su Zhenglong, pleading, “Don’t kill me, I knew nothing, it was dad who inadvertently let it slip.

If you want to ask, ask him.”

Stunned, Su Zhenglong looked towards Su Xuefeng; he wasn’t his son after all, so why hadn’t he said so earlier?

Now that he was middle-aged, why keep the secret?

Under everyone’s gaze, Su Xuefeng finally spoke up, “Yes, you’re not my flesh and blood.”

With Su Xuefeng’s confirmation, Su Zhenglong’s entire being faltered as if falling apart, staggering he asked, “Even if I’m not your real son, you had no reason to treat us like this, why?”

He still couldn’t understand what reason Su Xuefeng had for raising him, yet wanting him to die soon.
