Berserk God of War

125: Chapter 125: Demon Beasts of Xia Country, Slaying Each Other 125: Chapter 125: Demon Beasts of Xia Country, Slaying Each Other At that instant, the hundred thousand soldiers who had been contemplating surrender were startled, their eyes filled with renewed resolve.

Who didn’t have a family?

Who didn’t want to return home?

Who was willing to watch their family members be executed?

Who wasn’t fighting desperately for the sake of their family?

The battle intent of the hundred thousand soldiers, which had originally dissipated, once again coalesced, and their momentum spontaneously ignited.

Xia Dalian was stunned.

As a military genius, how could she fail to see the transformation in these troops?

With just a few words, Sikong Jing had rekindled the fighting spirit in soldiers who had lost their will to fight.

Not daring to be negligent, her face flushed red as she shouted, “You are all people of Yunzhou, and I, Xia Dalian, with the authority of the Princess of Daxia, promise that as long as you surrender to me, I will lead troops to slaughter Yunzhou and welcome your families into Daxia.”

Her words sent another shock through the hundred thousand soldiers, and the flames in their eyes began to show signs of dying out.

“Haha…”

However, Sikong Jing burst into laughter, immediately shouting, “I, Sikong Jing, trust you not, I will take my destiny into my own hands, I will personally lead my troops safely home.”

The hundred thousand soldiers were shaken once more, staring blankly at Sikong Jing.

Recalling the scenes of the journey they had fought together, a powerful sense of conviction spontaneously arose.

With Commander Sikong present, nothing was impossible!

“So, get ready, coordinate with Jin Sect’s experts, and defend!”

Sikong Jing suddenly gave his orders, his voice inspiring everyone.

The clanging sounds of metal filled the air, and their fighting spirit was once again elevated.

Even the people from Jin Sect subconsciously followed his command.

If they wanted to survive, they had to fight to the death, and Sikong Jing’s refusal to surrender gave them of Jin Sect the chance to do just that.

Xia Dalian incredulously swept her gaze across the arena, then resentfully turned towards Sikong Jing and exclaimed, “Very well, very well, I want to see how you, who have been forsaken, can resist the power of Daxia’s mighty ones.”

At this moment, the strong warriors from Xia Country had already arrived upon the city walls.

What Sikong Jing and his people were about to face were all of Xia Country’s experts within Yanyun City, a challenge that could only be imagined in its difficulty.

At this time, Xia Dalian swept the hair from her forehead and gracefully mounted a jujube-red winged steed.

She pulled out two short spears from the back of the flying horse and, staring at Sikong Jing, yelled again, “I will say it once more, as long as you surrender, you will be the favored one of the Daxia Princess, and I can even bestow this Transcendent Realm warhorse to you.”

Xia Dalian was not willing to give up, actually using the Transcendent warhorse beneath her to persuade Sikong Jing to surrender.

A Transcendent warhorse—who wouldn’t love it?

“A Transcendent warhorse?

I’m sorry, but it’s about to die!”

But what responded to Xia Dalian was Sikong Jing’s deep voice.

Before Xia Dalian could react, Sikong Jing suddenly opened his mouth and let out a roar like that of a fierce beast, then fixed his gaze on the Transcendent warhorse.

Instantly, the eyes of the Transcendent warhorse reddened.

All at once, it saw only Sikong Jing, no one else mattered.

The only consciousness in the mind of the Transcendent warhorse was an instinctual drive to consume this human, to devour the one who could allow it to evolve supremely, for his blood was so divinely tantalizing.

“Roar, roar, roar…”

At the same time, various powerful demon beasts from among Xia Country’s strong ones also roared, instincts telling them to consume this human.

By eating him, they could evolve!

“Ah Hong, what’s wrong with you?”

Xia Dalian’s complexion changed dramatically as she felt the restless emotion from the Transcendent warhorse beneath her, and she cried out in surprise.

It was a steed she had tamed personally, it couldn’t betray her!

“Roar!”

The Transcendent warhorse had long forgotten that Xia Dalian was its master; without any hesitation, it charged ferociously towards Sikong Jing.

Xia Dalian, who was on his back, naturally followed and was brought toward Sikong Jing.

“Sui Yu, no matter what happens next, don’t worry about me,” Sikong Jing said, gazing at the approaching Transcendent Warhorse and seriously instructing Sui Yu at his side.

Then, he turned to Ah Hu and Old Zhang and said, “Everyone, listen, fall back first.”

As soon as the words were out, Sikong Jing leaped high, charging at the Transcendent Warhorse.

Staring at the rapidly approaching Sikong Jing, the Transcendent Warhorse suddenly opened its mouth wide, and a demonic power transformed into a suction force, voraciously pulling Sikong Jing into its belly…

This terrifying scene dumbfounded Sui Yu and the hundred thousand soldiers.

“Big brother!” Sui Yu couldn’t help but yell out, but he forcibly restrained himself from moving.

Big brother Sikong had instructed them, to no matter what happens, not to worry about him; surely this situation was within his expectations.

Big brother was the Invincible God General, he surely wouldn’t come to harm.

Meanwhile, within the body of the Transcendent Warhorse, the horrific demonic power around Sikong Jing nearly tore him to pieces.

Yet, he could still sense the strong emotions coming from the Transcendent Warhorse.

“Having swallowed you, I will evolve, I will become a Divine Beast!” The Transcendent Warhorse conveyed a sense of ultimate excitement, as if it was glimpsing a bright future.

Sikong Jing channeled his True Qi from the Emperor Beheading Technique to the utmost limit, growling, “It’s a pity you won’t have the chance, you’re going to die.”

“Roar…”

Outside, the roars of demon beasts resounded as, in everyone’s eyes, these Heavenly Realm Demon Beasts recklessly charged at the Transcendent Warhorse.

They wanted to tear the Transcendent Warhorse to shreds.

Instantly, a strong emotion emitted from the Transcendent Warhorse as if saying to the surrounding demon beasts, “You trash, dare to compete with me?”

Regrettably, evolving is the innate drive of demon beasts.

By swallowing an individual of the Sikong Realm, it could become a Divine Beast; even if you are Transcendent, we Heavenly Realm Demon Beasts would still vie for it.

All the Heavenly Realm Demon Beasts, and even those from the Earth Realm and Human Realm, fiercely bit at the Transcendent Warhorse.

Suddenly, the Transcendent Warhorse’s inner demonic power that was trying to devour Sikong Jing sharply decreased, as it had to resist the overwhelming attacks from the surrounding demon beasts.

Inside the Transcendent Warhorse, the pressure on Sikong Jing lightened, and a desire emerged within him, that was, to swallow the heart of the Transcendent Warhorse, its inner core, which could help him break through.

This was sustenance, very good nourishment for his current self.

Licking his lips, Sikong Jing instinctively spread his arms wide and began to viciously tear apart the flesh inside the Transcendent Warhorse…

Outside, enemies and allies alike watched in stunned silence at the chaotic battle of the demon beasts.

The demon beasts of the Heaven Realm, the Earth Realm, and others besieged the Transcendent Warhorse.

The Transcendent Warhorse kept resisting, while Xia Dalian on its back swung her double spears, helping to slay the various demon beasts for it.

But no one could understand, these were all demon beasts tamed by Xia Country, why would they brutally fight each other?

“What are you all staring at, hurry and save Her Highness the Princess,” someone shouted after a moment of shock.

Following that, the Transcendent Strong People of Xia Country finally reacted, one by one they charged into the melee with the demon beasts.

“Ao…”

And that was the moment, the instant Sikong Jing tore into the flesh of the Transcendent Warhorse from within.

The Transcendent Warhorse let out a miserable cry, and a fearsome wave of demonic power violently burst out.

In an instant, it pushed back the Xia Country strong people, scattering the surrounding demon beasts.

And Xia Dalian on its back took the brunt of the impact, spitting out a mouthful of blood with her face turning deathly pale!

As the mount of the Princess of Daxia, the Transcendent Warhorse wasn’t just any Transcendent Demon Beast, but a terrifying entity that had reached the Transcendent Third Realm; its demonic power was tremendously formidable.

No one present, except for Sui Yu, could surpass its realm.
