As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 97: Chapter 96 - The Truth About Training

I once suspected the Head Maid’s skill was only swordplay. Thanks to Doctor Julia’s claim that the Head Maid and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld had a close relationship in the past, I didn’t think something far like they both equal in sword skills.

Her ability to dive into the shadow world is a basic assassin technique that lets her infiltrate and strike from any blind spots. I always use an ambushes route love story like this to create a tense atmosphere for the main character. But after experiencing such a terrifying shadow world, I had to train even harder to mastering it.

The Head Maid looked exhausted after dragging me into the shadow world and out of it. With her remaining mana and the signs of mana deficiency on her face, she shouldn’t have done something so reckless like that.

”Do you understand why this intensive training feels so hard, Liliana?” the Head Maid asked, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

I nodded my head and felt the throbbing vibrations in my fingers. The sensation of the heavy weight in my hands felt like lifting a boulder weighing hundreds of times my own weights. Moving my fingers was already difficult, let alone moving my entire body to maneuver within the shadow world.

If there was a way I could get around all of that, maybe I could move as fast as the Head Maid in that shadow world.

”Yeah, now I already know the reason, Head Maid,” I replied as I turned back to her, ignoring Master Reina, who had fallen to the ground after failing to deliver a kick with both her legs.

”Threats don’t always come from before your eyes. Sometimes, the strange shadow following you from behind is a threat too. For the example... Look at the strange shadow behind your body, Liliana.”

Following the Head Maid’s instructions, I stared at a strange shadowy spot beside my own. It looked different from my own shadow, which should have been standing directly beneath my feet with the sun directly above me.

Slloooommm...

Pooooppp!!

The strange shadow immediately formed a large curtain as if coming out from within the shadow world, breaking into blurry black shadow dots, and revealing the figure of the old butler that I knew.

”Ugh, so disgusting... Peeking into little girls’ panties has become your hobby, Sebastian?” the Head Maid asked in disgust as she stared at Sebastian emerging from the shadow world.

”Please don’t think of me as a pervert. I’m not that perverted, Mell.”

”Say that after some maids saw you lying on the floor of the maids’ quarters room hallway. If that’s not perverted, then what is it?”

”Well, isn’t that your own fault?!!” Sebastian retorted with his faltering composure.

I frowned after seeing Sebastian emerge from the shadow world. Not only did the Head Maid mastering this technique, but the Head Butler, Sebastian, also mastered it.

I’m not being trained to became their successor, am I?

Its a bit creepy if all this training is the Head Maid’s plan to find a successor and retire peacefully.

”I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I didn’t plan on that,” Head Maid retorted as if reading my mind.

”As I said before, there are some people who can dive into the shadow world, and that would be very troublesome. That is why our esteemed Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld trained you most brutal ways so that your danger detection ability would be activated.”

”She didn’t explain that important point and focused on her pleasure in hitting the helpless little girl. Isn’t that right, Your Honorable Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld?” asked the Head Maid, glancing at the Duchess, who was lifting Master Reina by pulling her collar.

Master Reina being lifted again like a kitten being carried by its mother. There was annoyance on her face, but it turned into a smile when she saw me.

”Don’t make it sound like I like hitting little girls under the guise of training,” the Duchess retorted as she threw Master Reina at me.

Swwiiinnggg...

The throwing motion looked easy for the Duchess to do, even though the person she was throwing was her beloved daughter.

I immediately spread my arms to catch Master Reina’s body that was thrown by the Duchess, and my feet’ grip on the ground also strengthened to support the weight of Master Reina’s falling body.

Buuggghh!!

”Oww!!” I felt a hard impact from Master Reina’s body being thrown towards me.

The scent of her soft perfume and her sweat mixed together, creating a new, not-so-bad scent combination. Much better than the pure scent of my own sweat, unadulterated by perfume.

Uh, my body doesn’t smell too bad for Master Reina to smell, right?

I suddenly felt doubt about the smell of my body sweat rather than failing to withstand the heavy pressure of Master Reina’s fall.

”Liliana!!” Master Reina shouted after falling into my arms, and the force of her fall was transferred to my body.

The two legs that I had deliberately spaced wide apart to support her body suddenly bent and almost made us fall.

”Please give me a lot praise after surviving my mother’s hellish training!”

”I almost died from an unfriendly Head Maid’s throwing knife and an arrow attack that came out of nowhere!” Master Reina shouted as if reporting something she didn’t like to me.

I just smiled at her sweet words of complain.

”My mother’s training was terrible, wasn’t it?”

”Isn’t it normal to escape training hours by sleeping longer, right?”

”You agree with my opinion, right, Liliana?!!”

After landing safely in my arms, Master Reina bombarded me with a lot questions. She seemed upset about something and little bit angry, while her red eyes glaring at her mother.

”I thought sleeping a little longer would keep me free from this hellish training for a little longer.”

”But I was wrong...” With a serious look in her eyes, Master Reina stared at the nape of my neck as if she was searching for something.

My right nape, which was sweating this afternoon, became even sweatier after being stared at intensely by Master Reina.

Gllaarree...

Gllaarree...

”Without me realizing...”

”My cunning mother took advantage of Liliana...”

”Kuuhh!! WHY DID YOU DOING NOTHING WHEN YOU WERE KISSED BY MY MOTHER, LILIANA?!!” Master Reina shouted, making Sebastian’s eyes widen and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld laugh out loud.

I tried to understand Master Reina’s words, which sounded strange to me.

Since when did Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld and I kiss?

I didn’t do something that reckless to the Duchess without realizing it, did I?

In the midst of the confusion I was experiencing, Master Reina pull out something in her pocket, a photo paper showing the Duchess kissing the nape of my neck on the right.

”Oh, t-that...” I now understood Master Reina’s words, which were so enthusiastic about her annoyance.

”Eeehhh?!” On the other hand, Master Amagi was also surprised by the photo shown by Master Reina.

Swwiiippp...

Swwiiippp...

Master Amagi even turned her head repeatedly towards the Duchess and me.

Ah, now I remember, Master Amagi arrived early after the incident. No wonder she was so shocked by it.

If I’m not mistaken, Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg also did the same thing to me after Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld action, not so explicit like kissing my neck, but already make my heart flutter.

However, she remained silent, as if hiding the surprise for tomorrow.

I don’t understand their mindset as parents who like to tease their daughters in this way.

”If Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld saw this. He would be jealous when he saw his beloved wife so close to his new favorite maid.”

”Your throne as his favorite maid has changed, Mell?” Sebastian said in a small whisper that reached my ear.

Buugghh!!

Paassshh!!

Instead of responding with words, the Head Maid punched Sebastian in the face, but was stopped by Sebastian’s catch. ℯℯ𝑙.

”Hoho... so weak. You’re not usually this weak, Mell.”

”Training three Young Miss and playing with them has exhausted you like this?”

”It turns out your age exhausted can’t lie.”

Tsk tsk...

Tsk tsk...

The veins on the Head Maid’s forehead bulged. She seemed enraged by Sebastian’s words and aimed a swift kick at his groin.

Swwiiittt!!

Peessshh...

Sebastian quickly dodged. He kept his distance from the Head Maid and was overly wary of a follow-up attack aimed at his groin.

”That was close...”

”I’ve learned from my previous mistakes. No one can kick me in the groin so easily anymore!” Sebastian exclaimed proudly.

The Head Maid, who felt challenged by this, glanced at me.

She approached me, who was hugging Master Reina, and lowered her head.

”S-Sorry, Liliana. Can I have some of the mana I gave you to kick that perverted old man in the groin?” the Head Maid asked in a pleading tone.

I took a deep breath.

”That’s fine. From the start... you were the one who gave me mana,” I said while holding out my index finger for her to suck.

This mana transfer ritual is indeed embarrassing when seen by many people like this.

The Head Maid knelt in front of me, lowered her head to my level, and pressed her lips to mine.

”Eehh?”

I, who didn’t understand what was happening, suddenly felt a bad feeling that a kiss was about to happen on my lips.

”W-Wait a minute, Head Maid—”

Chhuuppp...

Chhhhuuppp...

The kiss between my lips and the Head Maid just happened.

In an instant, I could feel Master Reina’s piercing red gaze piercing my chest. Followed by Master Amagi’s dark gaze, which sent a cold sweat down my spine.

The Head Maid’s lips moved in circles on my tongue, trying to find a comfortable spot for this mana transfer kiss.

This unexpected action left my mind blank during the mana transfer. The drained mana made it difficult to breathe, which was helped by the Head Maid’s exchange of breath.

Chhuuppp...

Chhuuppp...

The Head Maid did this embarrassing act just to relieve her irritation by kicking the Head Butler in the groin.

After feeling satisfied, the Head Maid immediately released her kiss on the lips and darted quickly towards Sebastian.

Baassshh...

Buugghh!!

”GAAAHHHH!!”

A loud kick and a scream of pain could be heard from Sebastian; his mouth was filled with white foam, and his face turned pale after his crotch was kicked by the Head Maid.

So fast...

And my eyes can’t see it...
