As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 87: Chapter 86 - New Magic Theories

”Liliana~”

A look of doubt appeared on Master Amagi’s face. She stared at me and shook my body as if trying to understand the Fireball spell I had just cast.

My magic incantation was indeed Fireball, but its effect wasn’t a typical Fireball, but rather something akin to a Fire Lance. A flat, needle-like flame flew out, piercing a practice target dummy.

The piercing power isn’t as deep as the Fire Lance, but it would be painful enough to burn their skin. This got me thinking about another idea to write about in my magic book. A magic with the same spell have an effects to be manipulated or changed in different form.

Or something like that...

Yup, it will be more complicated to explain in words.

It will be Liliana’s responsibility in the future to write her magic book; as for Liliana’s responsibility in the present, she will be responsible for answering every curiosity of Master Amagi with mischief.

”Neee... Liliana.”

”You’re not playing a prank on me, are you?”

”That’s not the Fireball spell, right?”

”There’s no way a Fireball spell could be that small and burn a practice target dummy!”

Master Amagi glared at me. She tried to decipher the magic attack I had cast and searched for another answer. She didn’t think it was a Fireball attack, but the spell I had cast was indeed ”Fireball.”

Casting the Fireball spell and activating other forms of magic- it turns out that it can be done as long as there is some shape imagination. I guess?

Why are the rules of magic in this novel world so bad?

Who created it?

Of course not me! I’m just an author who accidentally got trapped inside her own novel. The rules regarding magic aren’t the author’s fault.

This may be a magic bug that was discovered by accident.

”I really don’t know, Master Amagi. D-Doesn’t this bring new knowledge? The Fireball spell won’t always come out as a hot ball of fire that explodes and burns the surroundings, right?”

”That’s how a real Fireball works! The Fireball you’re casting is just weird!” Master Amagi replied, her cheeks puffed out comically.

It was so cute that I touched her cheek and felt its warmth.

Caress...

Caress...

”Actually, I was imagining the magic Master Amagi just cast. Flat flames shaped like sharp lances with piercing effects. But what came out was such a pathetic magic chant. I’m not talented with magic, am I?” I said in a soft, whispering tone, trying not to attract the attention of the Duchess and Marchioness.

They were both busy reading the magic book that contained my handwriting. It felt embarrassing to have my handwriting read by someone else.

”Humph! How can someone who isn’t talented with magic find new ways to manipulate magic spells, Liliana!” Master Amagi said, struggling to speak as I played her soft cheeks.

The softness and warmth of her cheek made me smile. That small thought that entered my mind seemed to help Master Amagi understand the rules of this new magic.

I’ve learned several magic rules over the years from the living magic book. Imagination plays a crucial role in this. Nothing is impossible as long as its existence is unknown. Delayed magic casting is indeed impossible to became possible if know the magic rules.

After all, Master Amagi and I can do it, too.

As long as the imagination in the mind has imagined the form of magic, we only cut the phrase of magic words and reconnect them at the full phrase to continue attack.

That’s was the basic principle of delayed magic casting.

”Maybe it’s just a coincidence?” I argued with a faint smile.

”What kind of coincidence just happened twice?”

”It’s just a coincidence... Doesn’t every coincidence just happen like that?”

”Coincidence does happen like that. But for Liliana... it didn’t happen that way to be called coincidence!”

Caress...

Caress...

Even as her cheeks were being played by my hands, Master Amagi remained enthusiastic during our discussion of magic. As a future Villainess girl skilled at manipulating magic, she tirelessly pursued the possibilities of magic world.

”Master Amagi can give it a try too, you know. We’ll see... is it just a coincidence or a new, undiscovered magical technique?” I said in a teasing, mischievous tone.

My hands slipped from playing with her soft cheeks. The warmth of her body, which held me tightly, didn’t leave. With her pastel purple eyes, which were imbued with magical knowledge, she stared at me and smiled seductively.

”If it wasn’t a coincidence. Can I do something to Liliana... as punishment for teasing me?”

”Eh? I didn’t tease Master Amagi, did I?”

”You’re teasing me... look at that, you’re even smiling like that.”

Master Amagi’s hand pulled my cheek, making me smile in front of her.

”The one who makes me smile is you, Master Amagi.”

”Hehe~ So? Do you agree with my punishment, Liliana?” Master Amagi asked with a wide smile.

She removed her hand from my cheek, hugged me tightly again, and rested her face on my chest again. A tingling sensation filled my body again.

”I’m not used to this spoiled nature of yours, Master Amagi.”

”You’ll get used to it soon, Liliana.”

Her hands were ready to cast magic again to test the new theory we’d discovered earlier. It seemed too much to call it a new magical theory, as the rules of magic in this world were too broken. I didn’t blame the Great Goddess who controlled magic in this novel’s world. Thanks to those broken rules of magic, I could cast holy magic without having to become a holy maiden.

It would be a bit troublesome if a maid was seen actively hanging around the Great Goddess’s church instead of tending to her Master’s needs, in order to mastering holy magic.

Fortunately, such a thing did not happen in the future because there were no Villainess girls or Heroine from the faction of the Great Goddess believers...

Swoosh!!

Swwiisshhh!!

Cttiinngg!!

The fine hairs on the nape of my neck suddenly stood up, and memories from my past life exploded into my mind.

Oh, wait a minute...

Now, I remember something that scared me. Much scarier than meeting a Tentacle Monster Boss that bound my body with its disgusting tentacles.

It turns out... there is a Villainess girl who comes from the Great Goddess church and is part of the Villainess group with Master Reina.

I wanted to deny it, but the memories of my past life brought back undeniable facts.

”Fireball...” Master Amagi’s magic spell vibrated gently with her mouth mumbling in my chest.

With my eyes closed and my past memories active, I had free time for remembering of fallen Villainess. From holy maiden to fallen Villainess. That’s was bringing bad news, I truly hated my misfortune and my determination to change the fate of these Villainess girls as a maid.

I made a promise to myself.

There’s no way I’m going to break my own promise, right?

Like it or not, I’ll try to visit the Great Goddess Church once this whole thing is over. I’ve already gotten permission to leave the Main Mansion to go shopping, so I might as well visit the Great Goddess Church to meet the Heroine and Villainess at that place.

One stone to shoot two birds at the same time!

Yosh! I can do it!

Grriittt...

Shrrruutt...

It felt like... Master Amagi’s embrace was getting tighter around my body.

”Liliana, why do I feel like you’re thinking about another woman right now?” Master Amagi asked in a gentle tone, but her eyes were glaring at me.

How could Master Amagi know that I was thinking about the Heroine and Villainess from the Great Goddess Church faction?!!

”N-Nothing. I just thought Master Amagi’s magic attack was beautiful,” I said, looking for a reason to make her happy.

”Liar! I can see Liliana lying right before my eyes!” Master Amagi retorted, making things even more difficult for me.

What kind of little girl can detect other people’s lies?!!

Don’t make things difficult for me, Master Amagi!

My mind became even more confused after seeing the sullen Master Amagi.

There’s no other choice but to do that, huh?

Caress...

Caress...

With my free-moving hands, I stroked her hair.

”I didn’t lie about Master Amagi’s beautiful magic spell.”

”Even I was stunned to see Master Amagi’s beautiful face, when so serious casting magic!”

”Can Master Amagi hear the sound of my rapid heartbeat?”

Deegg...

Deegg...

Deegg...

This pounding of my heart is not stupid.

It was caused by my guilt of thinking about other women in front of my own Master.

Ugh, why do I look like a maid who was caught cheating and serving another woman besides my Master?

T-That’s not the point!

Master Amagi placed her ear on my left chest, touching a sensitive spot that felt ticklish on my body.

”Mmnnhh~” I managed to hold back the small moan, with the soft tickling sensation.

”Liliana’s heartbeat... It’s beating fast. Do I really look beautiful when I cast magic, Liliana?”

Nod...

Nod...

I nodded my head quickly after the question came out.

”It’s so beautiful and makes me want to kiss Master Amagi,” I replied with a little teasing to make her happy.

Bllusshh...

A pink blush flooded Master Amagi’s face upon hearing my teasing.

”Y-You say such embarrassing things so easily, Liliana!”

”That’s cheating, you know! I even have to prepare my heart first to hug you tightly!”

”You are too sinful to teasing your Master!”

Master Amagi buried her face in my arms, trying to avoid my smiling gaze at her.

That’s too sweet for me.

This quiet Villainess girl is so sweet when she shows her vulnerable side.

Is that how the main character felt when he managed to make a shy girl fall in love with him?

Maybe it is... because I’ve felt it.

So warm...

So heartwarming...

Not bad either; I like the sensation of this shy girl holding back her embarrassment.

Moreover... the shy girl was casting Fireball magic in the form of Fire Lance magic.

A combination of shyness and danger mixed into one.

What an unique expression, right?

”M-Master Amagi...”

”Uuhh... don’t look at me, Liliana!”

”Eehh?? Why??”

”Because of what you said, I feel embarrassed to look at your face now!”

”U-Uuhh? S-Sorry??” I said with genuine guilt.

”D-Don’t apologize. It just feels like my beauty is responsible for the embarrassment I’m feeling!”

What the meaning is that?

Well, I have to remember this important thing...

A complimenting or teasing a shy girl turns out to have a cute price to pay.

”Eh? But Master Amagi is very beautiful and I want to see it...”

”Liliana, shut up!” she shouted, blushing like a red tomato.
