As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 96: Chapter 95 - Shadow World

The youngest princess’s invitation was like an emergency signal. She needed the help of the greatest witch in the Kingdom of Belfast to find a panacea, to cure her illness. Her rapid mana regeneration, which filled over her mana capacity, was in stark contrast to my vast mana capacity with super low mana regeneration.

If we were to use a comparative measurement, an Olympic swimming pool should be filled with a rapid jet of water. However, with my slow mana regeneration, it’s like filling an Olympic swimming pool with a one-liter bucket.

It would take over ten months to fill it. With this intensive training, I couldn’t predict when my mana pool would ever be full to used all-out spell I have been learning. It would deplete as long as I used magic... in this intensive training, everyday.

Sluuurp...

Sluuurp...

The Head Maid’s index finger swirled around in my mouth, moving in and out as if I were sucking on it. My body felt the surge of mana filling my mana capacity, slowly by slowly.

”Hmm?” Realizing that my mana capacity was being filled with someone else’s mana, I glanced at the smiling Head Maid.

”Shush... don’t talk too much, Liliana.”

”I gave you my mana. The mana recovery potion you drank earlier still hasn’t worked, right?”

”Suck my mana to replenish yours, while they’re busy discussing the youngest princess’s unique illness,” said the Head Maid while moving her index finger inside my mouth.

This is... the sensation of sucking someone else’s mana?

Somehow, this is much more embarrassing than what I wrote in my novel.

The mana transfer ritual in this novel’s world is supposed to involve a mouth-to-mouth kiss or intercourse. In this unique ritual, the main character and his lovely heroine share a romantic kiss to share mana. Because the main character’s mana is super fast recovery and his mana capacity is so big, it like the main character is supporting the heroine to shine with her ultimate magic spell to kill enemies.

High-level magic incantations require a large amount of mana as well, which is why there will always be a main character dialogue offering mana transfer, and make them blushing like a virgin fall in love.

Deegg... Deeggg...

Deegg... Deeggg....

My heart ached suddenly when I imagined Master Reina and Master Amagi being defeated by the main character due to their insufficient mana capacity. Bullying someone weak because of their low mana capacity is a loser.

Uh, that’s none of my business as their maid...

But, there’s a hard feeling in my heart...

Master Reina and Master Amagi won’t become Villainess girls in the future if they get proper education, right?

Cttiingg!!

A past memories where I wrote about the tragedy of the ”Demon Princess” reminded me of a long-distance mana-transfer magic technique without physical contact. That’s will come in handy solutions for her.

This alternative solution could be applied to this youngest princess by transferring her mana to me, as the owner of a super large, empty mana capacity. I don’t know the extent of my magical mana capacity, but I can confirm that my mana capacity exceeds the main character in this world.

Sluuurrpp...

Sluuurp...

My mouth was still enjoying the Head Maid’s index finger until it slipped out. My saliva stuck to it, which it quickly wiped away with the Head Maid’s handkerchief.

”I think that’s enough to meet your mana needs for the next few days,” said the Head Maid in a whisper.

”T-Thank you, that really helps me when I’m short on mana,” I replied, not forgetting to express my gratitude to the Head Maid.

I could feel my mana capacity filling up to more than five bathtubs. That was enough to cast advanced magic dozens of times. Hopefully, I hadn’t been too greedy with the Head Maid’s mana to cast a lot magic.

”Your body is still small, but your mana capacity is very large, Liliana.”

”I-I don’t know... I-I’m sorry if it’s to big to refill my mana, Head Maid.”

”There’s no need to be sorry about it. Having a large mana capacity is a valuable asset for a magic user. You need a lot mana available in your mana capacity more than worrying about the spare sword in your pocket, right?”

”Y-Yes, I-I guess...”

I understood the Head Maid’s words well. She openly told me to become a witch rather than a swordswoman like Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld.

The problem is... I don’t understand my own talents at all.

Between magic or sword, I don’t know who suit me best as a maid. Learning sword techniques is indeed a hassle, especially with my sword instructor, who is known for her brutal and intensive training.

Recently, I even received a severe punch from that brutal instructor.

For the sake of my life, it’s worth studying magic, even with the headaches it brings to understanding the complex vocabulary and language of the magic book... It’s like training my mind.

Training my body and mind- those are the two options I can take.

However, that would rise another problem for Master Reina and Master Amagi, as they both have different skill focuses.

”As I said before... Don’t hesitate to show your talents in front of them, Liliana.”

”Who knows... you might have connections to the royal family too.”

I doubted that Head Maid’s statement.

What kind of apprentice maid has connections to the royal family?

”Please don’t joke about something impossible, Head Maid.”

”Why do you think that won’t happen, Liliana?” asked the Head Maid, while pointing to my handwritten magic book.

The magic book I wrote to pass the time and test the theories in my head was on the table, near Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, who was busy taking care of Master Amagi sulking.

”With the magic book recommended by Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, it’s already a bridge connection to the royal family. You might even have the opportunity to became apprentice maid at the royal court.”

”T-That’s too much for a mere apprentice maid like me.”

”That’s not an exaggeration, Liliana. Just think of it as training to become a maid capable of taking care of various things alongside Young Miss Reina in the future. Letting Young Miss Reina take care of various important matters with that kind of attitude of hers... doesn’t it sound worrying?” the Head Maid whispered, making sure no one else could hear her but me.

”Why do the Exclusive Maid’s duties sounds so hard to do?” I muttered softly.

”It’s not as hard as serving a stubborn young lady who always causes trouble every day, Liliana,” replied the Head Maid with a wink.

Caress...

Caress...

My hair was gently stroked. I felt a slight tremor from the Head Maid’s hand, and her heavy breathing was restrained by her professional demeanor.

The symptoms I saw were like a mana deficiency; it seemed like I had sucked too much of the Head Maid’s mana, making her weak.

”Maybe I will experience the same thing in the future,” I replied as I closed my eyes and enjoyed the gentle caress of the Head Maid’s hand on my head.

Caress...

Gllaarree...

Caress...

Gllaarree...

The gentle caress of the Head Maid’s hand suddenly felt like a stab from a curious gaze.

”Uuhh... why am I suddenly being stared at like this?” I asked all the pairs of eyes staring at me.

”They’re just jealous of our closeness, Liliana,” said the Head Maid while stroking my head in a naughty motion.

Her hand trailed down to my cheek, stroking it in a circular motion, and then down to my lower lip. Teasing my lips with a gentle touch, until Master Reina flew towards me.

Oh, not flying; she was jumping towards me with her legs in the air to do flying kick.

Thanks to my danger detection abilities, my body screamed to avoid the swift attack, but I was held back by the Head Maid’s tight grip. If I moved suddenly, my neck would be caught and broken in her grip.

I don’t want to get any injuries or silly wounds like that; if it can’t be avoided, then so be it... feeling Master Reina’s kick aimed at my head, that’s not bad.

”Watch this carefully, Liliana,” whispered the Head Maid without moving her body.

Plooommm...

A thin surge of mana trickled down in front of me, creating a black shadow that spread rapidly before my eyes.

Baaassshhh!!

After the mana droplet shattered and spread a black shadow around me, my senses felt oppressed by discomfort. They couldn’t feel the air around me, as if I’d been dragged into another world filled with darkness.

The Head Maid pulled my body, carrying me like a baby with both her hands under my armpits.

”This is a magical technique that involves walking in the shadow world. Only a handful of people can master it. If someone mastering it... then they became the most troublesome assassins to handle. Please remember it, Liliana.”

”Anyway, walking in this shadow world feels tough. You can’t move one of your legs if you’re not well trained.”

Tap...

Tap...

My vision was filled with a black shadow, depicting Master Reina’s double-legged kick. The kick was in slow motion, just like when I was fighting Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld with full alert of danger detection.

On the fifth step, the Head Maid released me in this shadow world.

”Try to move on yourself, Liliana.”

”After going through our beloved Duchess’s training, you should be able to move a finger in this shadow world. It’s still too early to train you to this stage. But try it for now...”

”Your duty as an Exclusive Maid is not only to serve your Master’s every need. But also to do everything possible to detect anyone moving in this shadow world and assassinate them to protect your beloved Master.”

I tried to move my fingers, but they felt so heavy as if the black shadows around me were holding them down.

Without being able to move my fingers, I felt like a mannequin on display in front of a shop.

”Fufu~ It’s too early to teach you how to move in the shadow world, isn’t it?”

”Wouldn’t it be nice to train more harder with our beloved Duchess, Liliana?”

Swwuuuttt...

Swwuuuttt...

”Ugghh!!” I let out a small scream after feeling the immense pressure disappear.

Buugghh!!

The view before my eyes returned to colorful, as if the world of the novel I knew was back before my eyes.

”Awww!! I-It hurts!!” Master Reina screamed, making me look back.

She fell to the ground after trying to kick me with both of her feet, but was thwarted by the Head Maid, who dragged my body into the shadow world.

It seems I just discovered something dangerous in my novel world.

”I-I’ll be okay, right?” I muttered to myself.
