As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 80: Chapter 79 - Roast To Adapt

The discussion turned into something tense.

All of us... the Lilianas, who happened to share memories of the alternate storyline in this novel’s world, remembered the dark tale of another Villainess girl. She was the Princess of Belfast, or, I mean, one of the three Princesses of the Kingdom of Belfast.

The prolific King had seven children, four sons and three daughters, from the same Queen. He was indeed loyal, but that was the problem. He was so devoted to his wife that he neglected his one daughter, who suffered from super-fast mana regeneration and whose mana capacity couldn’t handle it all. This resulted in her having weak and dangerous magic control. Without her parents’ love and an environment that expected the best of her, she became a Villainess known as the Demon Princess.

Her magical powers are uncontrollable, simply because her mana regeneration and mana capacity are unbalanced.

In contrast with her, Liliana is a complete failure to handle her mana regeneration.

”Now I understand one thing. Why is my assignment so complicated?” I muttered after realizing it.

It’s not just one or two Villainess girls whose fate needs changing, but the entire future of these innocent girls.

”I’m just an apprentice maid. How can I sneak into the Royal Capital of Belfast and meet this Demon Princess?” That simple question made the other Lilianas lower their heads, trying to find a reasonable answer based on the information from our past lives.

The incident concerning the Demon Princess’s mana surge disease will occur at the upcoming tea party. It’s too close to the time of intensive training. Master Reina and Master Amagi are undergoing intensive training so they can show off at the talent show among the nobles.

”Ugh, this is making my head spin thinking about the storyline of this novel world.”

”It felt like revising a storyline before sending it to a novel editor.”

”The difference is... this will be the problem that gives birth to a new Villainess, huh?”

The grumbling was clearly audible. The other Lilianas, who were deep in thought, voiced their opinions one by one.

Liliana, who was wearing a military police uniform, raised her hand.

”How about we use stealth magic techniques to sneak into the royal family’s residence?”

”With our mana regeneration. Did you expect to be able to sneak into a residence filled with elite knights to detect us? If anything wrong happen, we’ll die in stupid death, you know...” retorted the Liliana I met for the first time.

”How about coming to the tea party?” asked Liliana, who was wearing the Royal Belfast Academy uniform.

”That’s a great idea. But how?”

”The Duchess and Marchioness’ intensive training is aimed at improving their daughters’ abilities, right? If our abilities develop rapidly in a direction that promises promotion to Exclusive Maids, that would be a reasonable excuse to join Master Amagi and Master Reina’s tea party as their maid, right?”

”Oohh!! I didn’t think of that before. Is it really possible?”

Geezzz...

Geezzz...

All of Liliana’s variants stared at me. They seemed to be expecting an answer from me. I paused for a moment, trying to think of something related to one of the Villainess girls right in front of me.

Master Reina and Master Amagi’s development as Villainess girls is at a safe, well-controlled stage.

For the other Villainess girls candidate like this Demon Princess, whom I rarely see, this will become a accumulated problem if it isn’t fixed quickly.

The key to Master Reina’s uncontrollable emotions has been eased by the intervention of her beloved mother. Similarly, Master Amagi, who had trouble remembering other people’s faces and considered them as unimportant people in her life, has become more open with them. This means, Master Amagi has grown to communicate with others and is no longer consumed by her grand ambition to mastering magic in short ways.

It’s better improvement, if compared to Master Reina... Emotional issues.

In the first place... Is it true that Master Amagi’s problem can make her a Villainess girl?

She’s just a friend of the Villainess, right?

Why did my past self think of her as a Villainess girl, huh?

I don’t know...

I also doubt my decisions in my past life...

”Uhm, keep your spirits up, Liliana!”

”You got this!”

All of Liliana’s variants gave me the thumbs up. This annoying task was officially my responsibility.

”Why is this heavy task become my responsibility?” I asked, glancing at them all.

”Because Liliana’s main body is controlled by you, right?”

”Yes, but don’t give me all the heavy responsibilities!”

”You’re the only one who can control Liliana main body and we’re just accessories residing in the subconscious realm of mana. That’s som good news after our mana capacity develops, right? So, we can meet in the subconscious realm of mana to discuss something.”

”Should I be happy about that?”

Nod...

Nod...

They nodded their heads again and considered their task to be just a part of Liliana’s consciousness with various personalities.

I was hoping to meet the real Liliana, not one from another consciousness who shares memories of a past life.

It’s like talking to myself, right?

It seems... I have entered a mild stage of insanity.

”Shall I take over as Liliana who happily slapped Master Reina’s cheek?” said Liliana in her military police uniform.

”Don’t do that, or we’ll all die!” all the Liliana variants replied in unison.

”You saw that, right? Oh, maid Liliana... there’s a part of us that’s so crazy to do something! I wish you were the only one controlling Liliana’s main body!” said Liliana in her Royal Belfast Academy uniform.

”I almost died of a heart attack when I heard that. It was so barbaric and dangerous,” another Liliana said as she pulled down her witch’s hat.

”Please control your horrible, crazy ideas, Liliana!”

”I-I’ll try, Liliana,” Liliana, in her military police uniform, replied awkwardly.

”You see, the maid version of Liliana... Some of us are that crazy. You’re the only one who can act rationally here. Well, some of your irrational actions have been discovered lately. At least, they count as actions that saved us all from trouble. Hahaha!!”

”Haaahh??” I muttered softly and smiled faintly.

There’s a crazy Liliana variant like that?

If I had that kind of courage, my mother and I would have been kicked out of Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s residence for violating the maid’s code of ethics.

”Some of us are crazy, huh?”

”I just found out now...”

Could it be, that it stems from my feelings of annoyance towards Master Reina, who always causes me trouble?

These hallucinations I’m experiencing...

Sometimes, they reveal my true feelings.

I have to be more careful in controlling my emotions.

One slip of the tongue could put my life in danger.

Oh, and my mother is also in danger.

This is really annoying...

”We all have our crazy sides. Like you, who fed Master Reina mouth to mouth, held Master Amagi on your lap so she could read a magic book comfortably, and kicked the old Butler in the groin.”

”You think... you’re normal and not as crazy as us?” said Liliana, the first person I met.

Ckuuttt...

Tsk tsk...

My chest ached as if it had been struck by an invisible arrow.

Of all the crazy Liliana variants, I wasn’t much different.

”I still feel normal,” I tried to deny it, but it was brushed aside by their rude rejection.

”That’s impossible. What sane person would trick a little girl with a kiss? That’s already a crime. Even if you’re just a little girl... your total age is over a hundred years old,” said Liliana in her military police uniform, patting the small stick in her hand.

Ckuuutt!!

”Tricked by a little girl into sitting on your lap. That’s a wise way to study a magic book. But you could have done that beside her, right?” Liliana said, twirling her magic staff as if casting a spell.

Tsk tsk!!

”I agree about the part about kicking that old butler in the groin. Winning by cunning act isn’t the essence of crazyness, but rather the essence of tactical superiority. Isn’t that right, maid Liliana?” Liliana said in front of me.

Ckuuttt!!

Multiple invisible arrows pierced my chest, so painful that it left me speechless.

”I did all that for a reason!”

”So I can get closer to them...”

”And also... Ugh, proving that I’m not easily defeated?” I said in a defense that raised questions from all of Liliana’s variants.

The reasons I gave make sense, right?

Why are they looking at me with such doubt?

”Come to think of it, it’s not bad action. Master Reina became a little more obedient than before, isn’t she?”

”Yeah, Master Amagi is also more open to other maid. Even she still shy from other maid. She even seems so excited when she’s around us. That’s was nice, Liliana.”

”Uh, there have been a few occasions where Master Amagi and Master Reina have clashed. But it’s still manageable!” I said, offering a more plausible excuse.

I know this is just a hallucination after eating sunflower seeds, but it feels so real to me.

Arguing with myself... I mean, my other personality.

I’m really going crazy now...

”Yes, yes, say that after you survive in prison, Liliana.”

”Don’t worry, Liliana. Age is just a number... for us.”

”Yeah, and prison is just space... for us.”

”Yup! The same goes for a pair of the same sex triangle love. There’s nothing for you to worry about. Master Reina and Master Amagi have already fallen into your hands. Use them to achieve our glory, maid Liliana!”

The other Liliana variants cheered, triggering a sharp pain in my head and blinding my vision with a white light. My body felt like it was being dragged out of this mind mana space.

Twwiittcchh...

Twiittcchh...

I opened my eyes slowly, seeing sunflowers shining brightly and holy magic books moving left and right.

”What are you wo doing?”

”Oh? You are awake?”

”Ughh!! I just experienced something strange earlier...”

”Everyone will experience the same thing when their mana capacity suddenly increases.”

That answer already explains all the oddities, I experienced..
