As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 89: Chapter 88 - 2 vs 1

The morning sun shone brightly on the front garden, which housed the target practice dummies. And Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg still cleaning up the damage. She cleared away the debris from the practice target dummy with unique ways, burning them into assess with the destructive power of her Fireball spell.

A spell that produced a scorching fireball that exploded upon impact had suddenly transformed into molten lava that destroyed the practice target dummy.

Also, the melting ice bullet I cast before, left a trail of water as if greeting me.

What about my position after releasing the inverse magic spell?

Well, let’s say Master Amagi and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld are interrogating me.

They were both very curious about my unique method of magic discovery.

”Not only changing the form of magic through magic modification and manipulation techniques. You discovered the inverse magic technique that was thought impossible, Liliana?”

”You always surprise me with your sudden bursts of talent. Do you have any talent left for wielding a sword, Liliana?” the Duchess asked, releasing her tight, torturous embrace.

My ribs nearly broke after Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld hugged me tightly. She wasn’t shy about showing off her strength. Outwardly, she looked like a frail and graceful adult. There were no visible muscles in her shoulders or arms; they were all hidden beneath her smooth skin. However, those hidden muscles were incredibly strong when you felt them in person.

For example, right now, I’m being tightly embraced by Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld and nearly dying of asphyxiation. The Head Maid, seeing me struggling to breathe, remains silent, simply telling me to be patient and that my suffering will soon be over.

She was hoping I would pass out soon, huh?

If it were really that easy, I’d have passed out and been lying on the ground for a long time.

”I don’t know, Duchess.”

”I will try to find out my talent in wielding a sword.”

My answer made the Duchess feel happy; she pulled my body back and hugged me with strong pressure, cracking my spine until it made a loud sound.

Crack!!

Krraaakk!!

The loud sound stopped the Duchess, who was hugging me tightly. She slowly released me and looked at the Head Maid beside her.

”I didn’t break Liliana’s bones, did I?” the Duchess asked in a whisper that reached my ear.

”That’s not the sound of bones breaking, my Duchess. It’s the sound of air bubbles inside the bones being forced out. Like this...”

The Head Maid responded by stretching her fingers forward, clenching her fists as if warming up, and cracking all her fingers in unison.

Krraaakkk!!

Crack!!

The sound was so loud that it caught the attention of Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, who had just cleared a broken practice target dummy into the trash can.

Oh! Not to the trash can...

More precisely, to reduce it to tiny bits of ash after burning it with her fiery magic spell into a dug hole of ashes.

”It’s okay. It’s just me being overly excited and hoping that Liliana has talent with swords too. I would be very sad if Liliana was only talented in magic.”

”I-It’s not like I expected Liliana to master swordsmanship or create a new sword style, is it?!” the Duchess said, her face unable to hide her envy.

This pressure is somewhat similar to the expectations of parents who want their children to excel in school. Like ranking first in a all class. That’s make the high mental or emotional burdening on their children development.

Not in my original world, not in the world of this novel, do all parents think the same thing like that?

It made me even more stressed with those high expectations.

”Don’t get your hopes up. Liliana might excel in magic, but when it comes to swordsmanship... Wait a minute, maybe she has it,” said Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg, which made me even more depressed with all these expectations.

Master Amagi, who had been silent beside me, nodded her head quickly, as if she agreed with her mother’s words.

”What do you mean, Shinano?”

”Think about it, Duchess. Liliana managed to quickly navigate a morning running route filled with deadly traps. She even fought back without being injured. Mastering the ability to detect danger quickly. Isn’t that the same as her talent with the sword... It’s already showing before our eyes?”

Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg’s explanation made my danger detection ability suddenly activate; my footsteps immediately stepped back after feeling the signs of impending danger. Slowly closer to me.

Swoonnggg!!

A gust of wind from the Duchess’s fist brushed past my face. It was so close that the wind blew my bangs.

”See, right?”

”Liliana is confirmed to have a talent for wielding a sword.”

”Didn’t she prove it on the first day of this intensive training?”

”Have you forgotten everything that happened, Duchess?”

Swooossshh!!

The Marchioness hadn’t finished her words, but a second strike from the Duchess’s leg flew towards my face.

My eyes caught sight of her white panties. Spotlessly clean, with a floral scent... that somehow wafted into my nose.

The kick almost hit my cheek, but fortunately, there was a big step between the Duchess and me. Her kick hit empty air in front of my face.

”Sorry, I had too many things to deal with. I almost forgot about Liliana’s sword talent.”

”There’s no way you’ve forgotten. The training on the morning running route filled with deadly traps was your idea, wasn’t it? Stop pretending to be a friendly Duchess during this intensive training. Sooner or later, Liliana will realize that the Duchess she serves is a training freak.”

It seems like I’m hearing something... That I don’t need to hear.

”Don’t reveal my true cards too quickly. I still want to enjoy the warmth of the morning with my beloved daughter and my favorite maid. I won’t forcefully train them.”

”D-Don’t want to train them by force? T-Then what are you doing at this time with stance like that?”

”Uhh... H-Having fun with Liliana??”

Swoossshhh!!

Let me be clear, I wasn’t having fun with the Duchess.

Instead, I was dodging her punches and kicks that broke the speed of sound.

My eyes couldn’t see the direction of the Duchess’s attack, but my danger detection ability could sense the direction of her blow.

This was the first time I felt the threat of death looming before my eyes. The slightest mistake, or even a single hit from Duchess kick, it would quickly drain my life force, leaving me unable to respawn at a safe checkpoint.

Grinding by dodging attacks was tiring, but it felt rewarding. Especially with my eyesight, which allowed me to see the time slow down a few seconds after successfully dodging Duchess’s attack.

If this were an RPG, it would probably have a dodge mechanic to escape deadly attacks, and this slowed-down time would be considered a reward for a ”Perfect Dodge”.

”It’s not for fun...” the Marchioness replied while glancing at Master Amagi.

”But, this is a good opportunity for Amagi. Try to cast a quick magic spell towards Liliana. If you manage to hit her... then you’ll get the chance to treat Liliana’s injuries, Amagi.”

Hmmm??

What is happening now?

I became the target of Master Amagi’s magic training too?

”I-Isn’t that one-sided?” I asked as I dodged Duchess’s attack and kept a decent distance by jumping high backwards.

”What’s so wrong about it? You just have to dodge our attacks, right?” the Duchess retorted, loosening the ribbon of her nightgown, revealing her cleavage.

Booiinnggg...

Booiinngg...

Her ample breasts, which should have been restrained by the ribbon of her nightgown, were now bouncing in front of me. So large that my concentration was almost shaken by envy, as my chest remained flat.

Ah, that’s right, I’m still growing up.

My breasts will grow bigger as time goes by, right?

I don’t want to be flat-chested...

At least, a B-cup is fine...

Uh, what just entered my mind?

This is not the time to think about my future breast size!

”I-Is not that easy!!” I replied doubtfully after seeing Master Amagi and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld working together.

Fighting the Duchess was already difficult; now there was another one who wanted to hurt me and take care of me after being hurt.

I want to cry at this injustice, but what can I do instead lament this fate?

There isn’t any choice!

Oh, there is only one way...

I need to keep moving forward and face the challenges ahead, with all my might!

”It’s easy... Just keep dodging!” while smiling and answering my question, the Duchess ran towards me at full speed.

The distance of a few steps shortened rapidly, leaving no room to dodge with a jump.

My body moved quickly to avoid it, but something hot and uncomfortable filled my body.

Cttiinngg!!

Cttiinngg!!

My danger detection abilities kicked in again, this time thrashing around as if telling my body to move quickly to avoid something that was about to come.

A flash of fire erupted in the air before me. It was the Fire Lance cast by Master Amagi. There was only one Fire Lance, and it was enough to trigger my danger detection ability.

”That’s... so cheating!” I said in a resigned tone.

The lance-shaped flame shot toward me. Not too fast, but it matched the Duchess’s punch that was aimed at my face.

There is no loophole to avoid it.

Bllaaaarrr!!

Booommmm!!

The Fire Lance attack that was aimed at my body exploded, creating a strong gust of wind and pushing me back.

My body fell backwards.

I hovered in the air for a few seconds before falling to the ground, rolling around in pain all over my body.

Buugghhh...

”Owww!! Oowwwww!!”

Buuggghhh...

Baaaammm...

”Ouch... ow... ow... My back hurts so much.”

”This is the second time I’ve experienced this. Can’t this intensive training proceed normally without surprises pain?” I said as I let my body roll around on the ground.

Luckily, the ground beneath me was covered in grass, which was enough to lessen the impact of the injury on my body.

”Fire Lance exploding in mid-air- that’s a sneaky tactic I hadn’t thought of before.”

”Unstable magic can be used in such cheap way, huh?”

This one-sided intensive training suddenly turned into a blessing in the form of combat experience and testing of new magical techniques.

This time, it was the use of unstable magic...

In the midst of the misfortune that continues to befall me, there is still a little luck that I can get...

Whether it was a coincidence or not...

I was really very lucky to testing unstable magic cast.
