As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 93: Chapter 92 - Head Maid Sarcastic

”I didn’t do anything. I was just admiring the cleverness of a little girl who was able to trick the Duchess and the Head Maid.”

”They are both crazy figures who are impossible to control. It is really funny to see them both panicking, carrying the body of a helpless little girl to my room...”

”Especially with her cute battered face. You really made them panic and scared at the same time, Liliana,” said Doctor Julia while stroking my cheek and pulling my hair between her fingers.

Our distance was so close, so close it was like seeing myself being pushed by Doctor Julia against the wall and holding my body to keep it in front of her eyes.

My sweaty cheeks received her gentle attention in this afternoon. It was as if I were her priority patient over Master Reina and Master Amagi. The two of them still sat in a wary posture, enjoying their small lunch with trembling hands.

Right before their eyes, Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld enjoyed lunch with elated hearts. Meanwhile, Doctor Julia held me with a gentle push.

”Consider yourself lucky at this point, Liliana.”

”Because our esteemed Duchess has given you a special gift.”

Doctor Julia released her hand from holding me against the wall next to the window. She walked to her desk and opened a drawer. She returned with two glowing glass bottles. The red glow resembled a high-level healing potion, and the blue glow resembled a high-level mana recovery potion like in a video game.

Seeing the two objects in Doctor Julia’s hands, I could guess that today’s intensive training would not end and would continue until my two Masters completed the challenge.

I hope it’s just a bad feeling, because it would be really annoying if it actually happened.

”Why do I have a bad feeling after seeing those two bottles of mysterious potion?” I asked sarcastically and smiled.

”Isn’t it obvious? After all, you should drink this after taking the painkillers and returning to your duties as an apprentice maid. You don’t want to neglect Young Miss Reina and Young Miss Amagi, who are in trouble, do you?” Doctor Julia replied, throwing the two bottles at me.

Swwuunngg...

My hands hastily grabbed the two bottles with all my might, making sure I held them tightly without dropping them. Besides breaking them and wasting them, I would be in serious trouble for throwing away Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s kindness.

I suspect these two bottles are related to the wound regeneration ability and mana within my body.

Somehow I felt it, but I immediately opened the red bottle and drank it.

Plloomm...

Glluuppp...

Glluuppp...

Drinking straight from the bottle felt like drinking fresh apple juice into my mouth, with the sensation of the soda bubbles passing through my throat. It was so refreshing that it made my body ache disappear, replaced by a fiery feeling of excitement.

”Slow down, Liliana. You don’t have to drink that recovery potion so quickly just because it tastes sweet. You’ll be in for a real shock if you drink a low-quality potion that tastes like fish oil,” Doctor Julia said with a gentle reprimand, her fingers pinching my cheek.

Syyuuttt...

Syyuuuttt...

The pinch didn’t hurt. It just distracted me from drinking the sweet healing potion. If this were a game, I’d be watching my HP bar increase with each passing second, filled with this fiery excitement. It was like getting a dopamine rush, making me happy about the something... I don’t know.

Plloommm...

Glluupp...

Glluupp...

My hand reached for the second bottle again, containing a glowing blue liquid that I could guess was a mana recovery potion.

I have to drink it to be able to cast magic again, huh?

This is not much different from the fantasy-themed game system.

Have I ever written something like this in my novel?

Oh, that’s right, I did that after getting addicted to RPG games on my phone.

Adding RPG elements to a novel world with love and adventure as its main themes. I felt it would have fit in the theme, but somehow, this novel world has become a dream for RPG fans.

This second bottle tasted ordinary, like a refreshing isotonic drink with a cooling sensation in every drop. I drank all of the high-quality mana regeneration quickly and felt the effects immediately.

The pills Doctor Julia crafted have numbed the pain of my wounds, and the healing potion is working well, and my mana has recovered to the equivalent of two glasses of water. It’s not much, but it’s enough to cast some low-level magic.

I put the empty glass bottle on the small table beside the window and raised my right leg above the window.

Tap...

”You’re not too crazy to jump from this height, are you, Liliana?” asked Doctor Julia as if she could guess what I was going to do next.

”Yes??” I replied with a smile and jumped out of the window.

The height... wasn’t too high for a little girl like me. It was only one floor, and Doctor Julia was just being overprotective of me as her newly conscious patient.

”Oh my, the Head Maid and Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld seem to be training the crazy new maids to obey Young Miss Reina. That’s a good thing, as long as I’m the one taking care of Liliana.”

As soon as I jumped down through Doctor Julia’s office window, I heard her slightly obsessive mumbling to me.

As the sole doctor at Duke Adelheid Von Blutfeld’s residence, she was the only one who could treat me with proper medical knowledge. I didn’t even feel any pain in my shoulder when I landed after jumping out the window. That proved the painkillers were working.

At least enough to do crazy things for the next five minutes, because I don’t know when the effects will wear off.

I ran along my morning running route, which was filled with deadly traps. I avoided the underground traps that were clearly visible in broad daylight and avoided stepping on the thin threads that would trigger arrow attacks.

After going through it once, I memorized the Head Maid’s trap pattern. This made it easier to navigate through the various traps and reach the main garden gazebo.

Tap...

Tap...

Breathing heavily after my run, I approached the main garden gazebo with a smile on my face. I put on a mask of Liliana’s professional smile.

These light footsteps startled the Duchess and Marchioness, who were relaxing and reading my handwritten magic book. They seemed to be debating something written in it.

The Head Maid was the first to see me arrive. She looked at me with a smile and greeted me.

”I thought I see a ghost, but it turned out to be Liliana...”

”Are you feeling well and healthy after starting your morning with a loving punch from our beloved Duchess, Liliana?”

Whether it was Doctor Julia or the Head Maid, they both had the same mischievousness in teasing me.

”Y-Yeah, I guess...” I replied as I approached her to stand beside her.

”You look fine. Is Doctor Julia taking good care of you, Liliana?” the Head Maid asked me, giving me a trick question.

”Yes, she took good care of me. To the point where I can move my injured shoulder like this.”

I moved my shoulder in a circular motion. Thanks to Doctor Julia’s painkillers, it went smoothly and without a hitch. It even made the Duchess smile with relief.

Master Reina and Master Amagi glanced at me, but they didn’t say a word. It was as if their mother had locked their speech abilities away.

After what happened, I understood Master Amagi’s implicit fear. She saw it with her own eyes. The Duchess punched me in the face at high speed, sending me flying to the other side of the training ground.

It was an accident during an intensive training session.

Miraculously, I can still live with some bruises on my body.

On the other hand, Master Reina had understood that my training was far more terrifying than her own. She glanced at me with a calm gaze and said, ”Wait for me to save you, Liliana!”

It seems there were some misunderstandings that occurred while I was away.

Whatever it is, I’ll pretend nothing happened.

”That’s an amazing talent. At least, we know Liliana won’t die so easily. That was a close call, wasn’t it?” The Head Maid’s words were so flat that they sounded like she was mocking Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld right in front of me.

The Duchess was seen holding her large chest, as if enduring the pain from the Head Maid’s invisible arrow stab.

Ah! so that’s what’s going on...

The Head Maid, who was known to be crazy maid in the past, was sarcastic about her employer.

Should I interfere in this unimportant matter?

From any angle, it seems like a fun way to subtly poke fun at Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld.

”I’m not dead... but I almost dead, Head Maid,” I replied after understanding her intentions and purpose in talking about this.

”Oh? You almost died, Liliana? Poor thing... you’ll be fine with that ten gold coin reward, right?”

”Ugh, is there anyone fine after being injured and given ten gold coins? Even giving a high-grade recovery potion won’t heal the inner wounds.”

”Eh? Really? The person who thought that would cure everything... must have never used her brain in her entire life, right?” said the Head Maid, causing Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld to scream in pain.

Sttaabb...

Sttaabb...

With that subtle sarcasm, I saw Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld lay her face down on the table with many invisible arrows filling her chest. The Head Maid’s blunt words seemed to touch her deepest heart with an invisible arrows.
