Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1350: Chapter 707: Dangerous Scenes

”What idea?”

Zheng Xiaowen said, ”Can we invite a real editor-in-chief to play the role in this drama?”

The other three were taken aback.

Zheng Xiaowen said, ”First of all, in the first season, the editor-in-chief played by Teacher Zeng Lili was very popular. Many clients I know really like her and even asked if I could introduce them to each other. At this point, finding an actor to replace Teacher Zeng Lili as the editor-in-chief is actually hard to win others’ approval. Why not invite a real fashion magazine editor-in-chief? This would also be a very interesting collaboration, at least it would attract much attention from the fashion industry.”

Zhou Lan laughed and asked, ”Isn’t this drama already getting enough attention from the fashion industry?”

”We can go even further.” Zheng Xiaowen said, ”Moreover, if a real fashion magazine editor-in-chief actually plays the role in this drama, how much more could it attract viewers?”

”I have reservations. Viewers may not necessarily be interested in a real fashion magazine editor unless you can get the editor-in-chief of a major magazine. However, where does the editor-in-chief of a major magazine have time to shoot a TV series with you?” He Yong said.

Zheng Xiaowen wanted to say something more.

Zhou Yun said, ”Actually, I do have an idea.”

Everyone stopped, ready to hear what she had to say.

Zhou Yun said, ”It’s unrealistic for us to have a major fashion magazine editor-in-chief play our editor-in-chief, but we can invite many people from the fashion industry for cameos.”

In the first season, the only real fashion industry figure who made a cameo was Wen Xi.

He Yong said, ”I support the idea of cameos.”

Zheng Xiaowen seemed to be lost in thought, thinking of something.

Zhou Yun said, ”Our drama is set against the backdrop of the fashion industry, after all. Xiaowen, what do you think?”

Zheng Xiaowen said, ”I’m worried that if it’s just a cameo, the impact wouldn’t be as large.”

”If it’s just one or two cameos, the impact is indeed not that large. But what if there are ten, or even twenty?” Zhou Yun said.

Zheng Xiaowen looked surprised.

”That many?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Those particularly famous editors-in-chief, along with our supermodels, and some very famous fashion bloggers, aren’t these all people we can invite? I can work with you to invite some people, right?”

This wasn’t Zhou Yun boasting.

They each had a group of friends they knew in the fashion circle, inviting friends for a cameo wouldn’t be difficult.

Zheng Xiaowen hesitated because she indeed wanted to arrange a role for one of her friends in this drama.

But just as He Yong said, major magazine editors-in-chief don’t have the time to play important roles. Her friend is actually the editor-in-chief of a small magazine, barely holding on in this era where print media is declining.

However, the editor-in-chief is someone Zheng Xiaowen wants to befriend because she has extensive connections, and many business matters in VX rely on her care.

Zheng Xiaowen found it hard to explain the reasons to Zhou Yun and the others. If she said it, given Zhou Yun’s temperament, it would definitely be a no-go.

However, Zheng Xiaowen indeed wanted to get this done.

Her friend had mentioned earlier that she always had the dream of becoming an actress, but due to some family reasons, she didn’t pursue acting and instead became an editor.

Zheng Xiaowen wanted to help her friend realize this dream and naturally bring the relationship closer.

For now, she decided to hold off on this matter and not say anything more.

Anyway, it’s just an intention communication; how the script should be written and who should act, is still far from being decided.

Zheng Xiaowen thought she should talk to Zhou Lan later to explain everything clearly. If she could get Zhou Lan’s support, this matter would be easier to handle.

With the drama’s popularity, Zhou Yun’s fame surged back to its peak.

But unfortunately, Zhou Yun was filming abroad at this time and was not in the country, so all those wanting to collaborate with her couldn’t find her.

Zhou Yun spent several months filming ”Female Assassin,” and her skin tone darkened considerably.

After all, she was under the sun every day.

Zhou Yun thought this wouldn’t do. She soon needed to play the role of a female desk officer in ”Moon Sinking at Sea,” and being too tanned wouldn’t match the character’s image.

She had no choice but to start skin whitening treatments every day.

Moreover, honestly speaking, by this time in shooting, Zhou Yun’s condition was no longer as good as it was at the start of the production.

Zhou Yun’s overall state had fallen into a kind of fatigue.

This fatigue couldn’t be relieved by a good sleep or a few days off; it needed a genuine, complete detachment from the current filming state to recover.
