Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1322: Chapter 697: Set Visit Surprise (3)

Zhou Yun said, ”Indeed, but you can’t have Zhang Cong always be your assistant; he still needs to develop his career.”

”Yes, once these two years pass and the company is more stable, I’ll make arrangements for him to be responsible for a section in an appropriate department,” Song Chi said. ”Right now, I just can’t do without him by my side.”

”Then give him a bigger bonus.”

”Of course.”

In the entertainment industry, Song Chi and Zhou Yun are known as the most generous celebrity artists.

While celebrity artists do earn more than ordinary people, some are stingy, especially to those around them, as if they would split a dollar into two just to spend less.

Zhou Yun really can’t stand those celebrities who are stingy to the people around them and in their own teams.

Small-mindedness.

Working in a celebrity team is entirely different from working elsewhere.

Their work basically follows the artist’s schedule, which is intense, stressful, and lacks a fixed trajectory for advancement.

Especially, Zhou Yun can’t understand why, since the team’s staff’s work quality largely determines your work quality, you’re unwilling to spend a bit more, be generous, and increase their motivation?

Zhou Yun is very generous to Zheng Xiaojue and Liu Yun.

Every year, the income they receive is no less than two hundred thousand, and that refers to the net income.

Zheng Xiaojue earns even more.

Besides, whenever they accompany Zhou Yun to various events, they also gain many other income sources, all of which can be monetized.

Despite this, Zhou Yun often feels she’s giving too little—because she really earns a lot, it’s Zhou Lan who told Zhou Yun not to increase it all at once.

For an employee, getting a higher income each year is something to look forward to.

If you get a hundred thousand this year and two hundred thousand next year, it’s beneficial for cultivating team stability.

But if you give fifty thousand this year and only thirty thousand next, people will feel their income is decreasing.

This feeling could make team members uneasy and feel unstable.

Zhou Lan also mentioned that as long as Zheng Xiaojue and Liu Yun are loyal and stay with the team for a long time, their returns in the future will definitely not be low.

Song Chi accompanied Zhou Yun for five days in the ”Female Assassin” crew, and matters back home couldn’t be delayed any longer, so Song Chi left finally.

Zhou Yun had a great time during these five days.

Every day while filming, just thinking about seeing Song Chi after shooting filled her heart with unstoppable joy.

At that moment, she finally understood Wen Bing’s feelings.

When someone truly likes another person, how can you suppress such feelings?

Keep suppressing it, and you might turn into that archdeacon Claude in ”Notre-Dame de Paris.”

After Song Chi left, Wen Bing came to Zhou Yun and asked, ”Now that Song Chi is gone, why do you seem lost?”

”I’m not, don’t say that,” Zhou Yun immediately denied, giving Wen Bing a look.

The two were too familiar with each other, and when Wen Bing said such things to Zhou Yun, she wouldn’t really get angry.

”I noticed you had an extremely good mood while he was around,” Wen Bing joked, ”It seems like lovers need to be together to maintain a good mood and live long and prosper.”

”Stop teasing me and look at you and Lucia; you never seem to be tired of each other,” Zhou Yun said. ”This is just a form of office romance.”

”Open and aboveboard, and even if it is an office romance, so what?” Wen Bing said, ”We are very professional.”

The beautiful European scenery in Italy here is different from Gambian, where the climate is more severe and the sunlight intense.

Wen Bing and Lucia could occasionally find time to dine out and play around.

Zhou Yun too.

She really wanted to find a chance to see Rome, but because the filming location wasn’t in Rome, and she had heavy filming duties, she couldn’t leave.

Wen Bing said, ”Once we finish shooting the scenes here, let’s take a day off and go have some fun in Rome.”

”How did Zeng Yeng agree to that?” Zhou Yun asked in surprise.

Wen Bing said, ”She proposed it herself; she said filming is exhausting, so let everyone have a day off.”

Zhou Yun was astonished.

Because in her impression, that isn’t Zeng Yeng’s way of doing things.

Very strange.

Wen Bing said, ”Don’t overthink it; she’s just using this as a way to win people over since our filming progress is smooth with no troubles. Taking a day or two off isn’t a big deal; maybe it was Yao Yuanfeng who suggested it to her.”
