Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1301: Chapter 690: One Man and One Woman_3

Of course, to be fair, falling in love at first sight isn’t that surprising.

It’s just that when such a romantic thing happens to friends around you, your first reaction is to wonder if your friend has been fooled.

In this era, love at first sight doesn’t seem as pure as it used to be.

Zhou Yun bought some coffee, returned to the hotel, freshened up, and prepared to rest for a while.

But just as she lay down on the bed, her phone rang.

It was Wen Bing.

”Which room are you in? Did you return to the hotel?” Wen Bing asked.

Zhou Yun: ”I just lay down.”

”Why lie down, sit up,” Wen Bing said excitedly, ”Zhou Yun, I think I’ve fallen in love again.”

Zhou Yun held the phone, a bit dumbfounded.

”...”

Wen Bing talked about encountering love again with the excitement of a pure-hearted young boy, and Zhou Yun didn’t feel surprised at all, only full of incredulity.

At this age, still going through such heart-pounding romance?

Okay, it’s not surprising if this happens to Wen Bing.

Wen Bing is just that kind of person.

Zhou Yun: ”Friend, don’t get too excited, how many days have you known her?”

”Where are you? I’ll tell you face-to-face,” Wen Bing said excitedly.

Zhou Yun had no choice but to tell Wen Bing her room number.

A while later, Wen Bing came knocking on the door with beer.

His excitement seemed to overflow from his face.

”Lucia is so interesting, I’ve known her for less than three days, but it feels like I’ve known her for a long time.” Wen Bing couldn’t stop talking about meeting Lucia, ”I met her at the hotel. I was eating in the restaurant, and she came in, walking from the crowd wearing a red dress, but it was like she was glowing. I just looked up once, just once, and I was hit by Cupid’s arrow.”

Zhou Yun was somewhat disdainful.

”Why describe so much? You were just attracted by her face.”

Wen Bing: ”How could it be just the face? Haven’t I seen enough beautiful celebrities?”

Wen Bing did not think he was attracted only by Lucia’s appearance.

He was firmly convinced that there was something special about Lucia that stirred his emotions.

”Does she like you too?” Zhou Yun asked curiously.

Wen Bing foolishly falling for a goddess isn’t surprising; he’s just that kind of impulsive person, but did Lucia Banks fall for a man in just a few days?

As a woman, Zhou Yun believed that once a woman is over eighteen, no matter how silly her view on love is, she wouldn’t quickly fall head over heels for a man.

The ones who lose their heads are those who can’t extricate themselves in the end.

Wen Bing nodded confidently, saying: ”I can feel it, she likes me a lot.”

Zhou Yun thought, that may not be the case.

But Wen Bing described Lucia Banks as such an extraordinary person, Zhou Yun wanted to see her too.

”How about you bring her along to dinner with me tonight?” Zhou Yun suggested.

Wen Bing shook his head, saying: ”We’ve already planned to dine at a restaurant here tonight.”

”Can’t you add me?”

”Of course not,” Wen Bing refused outright, ”we are still getting to know each other. If you say the wrong thing or upset her, I’m the one who loses out.”

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

”Do you even listen to yourself? You’re acting petty as a grown man. How can you be sure I’ll say the wrong thing?”

”You’re someone who speaks their mind, I know it well,” Wen Bing said, ”Besides, if she misunderstands that there’s something going on between us, she might distance herself from me.”

Zhou Yun frowned: ”You’re acting childish like a high school student now.”

Wen Bing snorted, full of disdain.

”Look who’s talking, you’re in a relationship with Song Chi, and it’s at the respectful stage.”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

What Wen Bing said was truly a blow.

Zhou Yun couldn’t refute it.

Because Wen Bing was right.

Zhou Yun and Song Chi now meet infrequently, and indeed their relationship lacks passion and recklessness.

Look at Wen Bing, he doesn’t need much time to fall for someone, and everything changes when he’s in love.

Zhou Yun even felt that Wen Bing’s entire demeanor had changed, not as downcast as before.

Since he broke up with Windsor, he seemed relieved of a big burden, like a normal person now.

Like a normal person—this isn’t a compliment for Wen Bing.

Zhou Yun said: ”If tonight doesn’t work, then tomorrow for sure, right? Say that I’m inviting you two for dinner; as the lead actress of this film, it’s normal for me to invite her and the director for dinner, right?”
