Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1305: Chapter 692: Throwing Down

However, what Zhou Yun didn’t expect was that Lucia’s acting would simultaneously be terrible and lively.

Zhou Yun didn’t know how to describe Lucia’s acting. She was like a genius; she had no method, most of the time she didn’t know where her talent lay, and her performance was a mess. But sometimes, it was as if she was aided by gods, delivering a scene that made hearts race.

It was the first time Zhou Yun encountered such a disastrously talented actor.

Generally, talented actors are extremely good at acting, lacking experience but having strong explosive power, or they have a strong sense of the camera.

But Lucia’s talent lay in her sudden flashes of inspiration.

For this reason, Zhou Yun acted with Lucia, and a single scene might have to be shot over ten times.

Zhou Yun was very exhausted from acting.

Yet, faced with such a fellow actor, no one had a solution.

Lucia knew she wasted a lot of Zhou Yun’s time and energy, and she apologized to Zhou Yun with a face full of guilt.

Zhou Yun didn’t know what to say.

Perhaps there’s really nothing to be said.

Anything she said wouldn’t help Lucia improve her current situation.

Lucia’s ability was just at that level.

It’s not that she’s not trying, leading some scenes to be poorly acted; she just acts... very immaturely.

Lucia probably never studied acting; she had no acting skills to speak of. This reminded Zhou Yun of when she first started acting; she also hadn’t studied acting, didn’t understand techniques, and relied entirely on her own insight. But Lucia met Wen Bing.

Wen Bing really guided her through acting step by step, even personally demonstrating. For an actor like Lucia who has no idea what acting is about, Wen Bing could only teach her by personal demonstration.

Most of the time, Zhou Yun could only sit on the side, waiting for Wen Bing to finish teaching Lucia before acting with her.

However, Zhou Yun also noticed that when Wen Bing taught Lucia how to act, the two of them seemed like they were on a date, their eye expressions different.

It’s unknown how many people in the crew knew about the situation between Wen Bing and Lucia.

Zhou Yun thought to herself that judging by the atmosphere between them, anyone who wasn’t foolish could sense something was amiss.

This sort of thing naturally couldn’t escape Zeng Yeng’s notice.

Zeng Yeng came to find Zhou Yun.

”Xiao Yun,” Zeng Yeng came to her trailer looking for her, ”do you have time now?”

Zhou Yun nodded, saying, ”Sister Yeng, is there something you need?”

”I just wanted to ask you, do you think there’s anything off between Wen Bing and Lucia?”

Zeng Yeng looked seriously into Zhou Yun’s eyes.

Zhou Yun paused for a moment and asked, ”Sister Yeng, what’s up? Why are you asking this?”

Zeng Yeng said, ”I have a feeling that they’re dating.”

Zhou Yun thought, then your feeling is correct.

Zeng Yeng asked, ”Have you noticed anything?”

Zhou Yun shook her head, pretending to be unaware: ”No, I haven’t noticed anything. Why do you think so?”

Zeng Yeng gave her a thoughtful look and said, ”Don’t you feel Wen Bing and Lucia seem to have a bit of mutual affection?”

Zhou Yun: ”Really? It does seem like it a bit, but they are both single; it’s not surprising if they truly like each other.”

She said this to see what stance Zeng Yeng had on the matter.

But Zeng Yeng said, ”Even though they are single, they are a director and an actor, and they’re in the same crew now, having to work together on future shoots.”

Zhou Yun asked, a little surprised, ”What, Sister Yeng, are you worried their office romance will affect the filming?”

Zeng Yeng said, ”Don’t think I’m worrying unnecessarily. What I fear most about filming is having couples in the crew, especially those in the throes of a passionate romance. They are the most troublesome.”

”Why?”

Zeng Yeng said, ”Don’t you know? If a couple in the throes of passion appears in your crew, it’s practically a disaster.”

Indeed, Zhou Yun didn’t understand why Zeng Yeng spoke about this matter so exaggeratedly.

”Sister Yeng, I really don’t know why. Why would it be a disaster if a couple in the throes of passion appeared in the crew?”

”When nothing’s happening, the two of them are always off somewhere, hard to find. When they argue, they give each other the silent treatment, ignore the need to cooperate and shoot scenes, and sulk. This is still mild; the serious issue is that both are so caught up in the relationship, unable to present a professional state, and the scenes end up being a complete mess.”
